Which means Narc's not the bodyguard? Hmm. I wonder if the bodyguard is in fact converted, and that's why Narc was okay making that fake reveal. Or if he's just whiffed on his protects, and is playing it very quiet. I'm not sure it would let us kill the seer to avoid a reveal as BG, but in this rule set I suppose it's more sensible than most.

Assuming that the wolves learn who they convert - and the convert would tell them, so I have to believe they do even as the person assumes a new role - they would be safe making the reveal at any point with a role they converted, even if the person "revealing" wasn't the one holding the role. But I do find it easy to believe Narcizo was the bodyguard ... I said as much when he revealed the role earlier.

I'm not going to play as if it is a certainty, but we haven't gotten any meaningful help from a bodyguard role up until now and I'm certainly not counting on it going forward. I would love to be wrong on this one ...

Well I'm glad Narc died, I'm still iffy on EF though you think Narc would've just left his vote on him if he was actually a wolf. Or maybe he figured we'd abandon the tie and just want to lynch him and he'd make us go after EF tomorrow no matter what.

Either way, should make for some fun discussion after whatever happens with the NK.

I'm very curious to see who the wolves target tonight, I'm assuming it's going to be CR because he's the only revealed role left, and everyone else has varying degrees of trust and could be a convert.

So with the wolves knowing they had this vote up their sleeve they didn't need to worry about a tie vote. Their only worry would be that it was close enough that they could switch it to Narc. So I will be looking back to see who was worried about an EF vote, not that that was a strong possibility today.

Also looking back the day of the Mr. Bug vote should be good too, to see if there was anyone strongly preferring Bug, or pushing Narc and/or Bug over EF.

Commo pinged the hell out of me on the bug lynch day. As he said he's only played a few games, so I can't decide if that's just how he read it or if it was a wolf. He's the only player left that has done anything out there to ping me - otherwise I'm going to have to analyze the votes and just decide who I think might've been converted.

Huh? Narc voted Narc. Why else would a wolf do that other than to protect a more powerful wolf?

I think this role is a convert. I have no idea what seduce is. I'm almost 100% sure this role was in last time around too.

2.) SnDvls had suggested looking at the people who had solo votes and I had indicated those people weren't around at the deadline so they shouldn't get votes for that reason. Narcizo was a wolf, and if EF was a solo voter (he is listed on Mau + Danny above) then that would be two wolves I had suggested avoiding at that time.

I would probably push that agenda, and feel good about it, except for the inconvenient fact that I actually am a Lightbringer.

And I was misreading that - I didn't notice that Mauboy was on his own line. I was thinking all those two lines were voting NTN, which made the lack of wolf votes on J23 very striking.

There was someone who was pushing back at you at the time though for wanting to ignore those solo votes. I can't remember who it was, but it would be interesting to go back and see what they said.

Unless we assume Narcizo was converted on this day, these results bother me. Because why would he leave his vote on EagleFan when he left for the day? Bug had revealed, but Raiders had three votes on him already. Narcizo was on Chief Rum, so why cut off him to vault EagleFan to three votes if they were wolves together? When Narcizo leaves he is gone for the duration, so that is a vote the wolves have to overcome later in the day if something goes wrong. I would expect them to have figured that out by Day 4.

I think the fearlessness that the wolves have had with taking out roled players suggests that they had the bodyguard pretty early on - most likely by the night they bumped dzilla. Going from memory, they let him live for one day after his reveal but have basically taken whatever role they wanted for the last 3-4 days.

dola, As for my push towards Bug, obviously hindsight is 20/20, but at the time it looked as though he had been converted, not only because of the two reveals against him, but because he had some weird things around him. His death did provide us with valuable information however so it was not a total loss.

Bug had revealed, but Raiders had three votes on him already. Narcizo was on Chief Rum, so why cut off him to vault EagleFan to three votes if they were wolves together? When Narcizo leaves he is gone for the duration, so that is a vote the wolves have to overcome later in the day if something goes wrong. I would expect them to have figured that out by Day 4.

This is the night where Bug scanned Narc, and EF claimed to watch Narc? I'll have a lot of crow to eat if EF turns out to be good, lol. But that all fits together disturbingly well.

I'll agree with you on some of that, Commo. But part of my thoughts on him as a bad guy were shaped by how hard you had pushed for two straight days at Bug. I thought you might be a seer trying to undermine the guy claiming your role.

In hindsight, that was probably a bad assumption. If you were the seer playing that angle you wouldn't have posted as much and as vociferously as you did. And it is also a somewhat sophisticated play to attempt, which is unlikely for someone in their 2nd/3rd game playing. But there was plenty of weirdness around that whole day despite anything you were doing ... plenty of blame to go around, and I'll take my share if we are doling it out.

Right, that makes sense. Narc is converted that day, so the vote on EF earlier was legit. Later, EF knows that Narc was indeed converted, so he uses that nugget of truth to try to damn Bug, and when that doesn't work, use it on Narc, maybe hoping he'll gain some trust for doing that. Makes sense.

Which means we've found two originals and a convert. I would guess then EF is an original, and there's someone that's been "seduced" at the least beyond that I would guess.

Well, even in regular circumstances my problem is I can only hold like two pieces of information in my head at a time when analyzing the situation. That's why I always grab a theory to start that narrows my focus down to one particular theory that I can grasp. I just can't see the big picture like some of you guys do.
