Day 9 Results

You decide that CrimsonFox must be one of the rebels/killers. You grab him and throw him into the oven. He shouts at everyone on his way in but soon there is silence.

You find a detailed log that he kept, it is written in Russian. He was a Russian spy that snuck his way onto the colony pod. He was there to stall the development until the Russians landed with their colony pod. While the Russians haven't landed yet, he has achieved his initial win condition as the colony won't reach the required level by the time the Russians land.

ntndeacon has worked on healing Thomkal; Thomkal is looking much better.

Narcizo has worked on healing Suicane75. Suicane75 is looking a little better.

The biodome has been upgraded.

Raven has entered the original pod to try to recover, or get to, the communication equipment. He has not yet returned...

timmae, Zinto, Shoveler and DanGarion have gone to explore the landing site. They have not yet refurned...

Day 9 Early Evening Results

timmae, Zinto, Shoveler and DanGarion have all returned from the landing site. They have brought with them plenty of supplies and have found an upgrade for the science center.

Raven has returned from the original pod. He looks fine.

The communicator is fine. Going to need multiple people to retrieve it. It's too heavy for one person.

I suffered no physical damage in there.

Those bastards forgot all about us and don't care. They were playing video games.

Night 9 Results

The next morning you find Suicane75 lying dead on the ground. Next to him is a note "Seek the Truth". He was a retired politician, who had retired due to accusations of bribery. He was also a member of The Resistance with Cunning ability.

You also find a puzzled Shoveler standing over a dead timmae. I was only interrogating him like everyone else. I don't know why he died, I honestly don't. Midway through he just collapsed, it looks like he was drugged. timmae was a blogger that was facing charges of identity theft before he joined the colony to get away from that. He was a loyal colonist.

And when I come up a colonist we still know nothing about you. You could be the murderer or in either faction or a colonist who had a hunch that was wrong. I still think there is a such a good chance that you are the murderer. You have seemed to attack me since I pointed out the discrepancy in you becoming injured and surviving.

Blanket statements like this are NOT beneficial to the colony. If nothing else we should, ideally, still be looking to get a three-horse race here rather than a straight up two-horse race. If you have hard evidence that Zinto is a baddy then tell us about it. If you can quote reasons why you suspect him that's fine. If it's in-thread then point it out. If it's information you've received in PM then tell us about it so we can evaluate. As it is now the impression I'm getting is
a) you have a win condition to see Zinto dead, or
b) you've got villager-tunnel vision (I've been inflicted more than most by it) and have convinced yourself that Zinto is a baddy.

I'm all about having re-elections to be honest. Mainly because I want to head up the science section now that timmae has bitten it. So clearly there's been a fair bit of ballot box-stuffing involved in this vote. Crimson got a +1 vote which I believe is Thomkal's extra vote. Shark on the other hand got +2 votes from somewhere. I see two main possibilities
a) Crimson got a +2 vote from somewhere
b) Someone was trying to cause confusion by getting Shark lynched instead of Crimson so that we would all be voting Crimson today.
Makes me a smidgeon more trusting of Shark. Plus his general demeanor yesterday spoke of a new player villager.

Next up there was only one night kill again. Do the two wolf teams get alternate night kills after the first one?

Also worth noting that we've been absolutely useless as a village so far. Three wolves down and not one of them caught in a lynch.

So, yeah, maybe it was only 2 or 3 who were taken from the Font voters so I didn't make the cut but that kind of dilutes the chance of using the information in any useful way. Given that there's probably more of them left you might want to argue that we should be targeting ardent Thomkal voters.

So let's hope that the wolf teams were three-man. That seems kind of fair if there's a lone killer and a nuetral in the mix and both teams had a cunning and, presumably, a brutal as well. I'm going to start working under the assumption that the wolf teams were created on day seven so looking further back for pointers to who could be a wolf would be pointless.

So we need to stop pfaffing around and consider getting our shit together before the Ruskies turn up. Seems to me that the best way to achieve that is to stop killing each other and concentrate our efforts on getting the base in better shape. We haven't been able to do anything constructive the last three days while the fatality rate has sky-rocketed. If nothing else there will not be a night kill on day eleven. I don't feel like we have enough from voting records to narrow in on the wolves that are left so no lynch won't be the end of the world either.
