I enjoyed. Will try and catch the show. It looks like it will be a good one.

Crazy the airborne guy survived that crash with fairly minor injuries compared to what he might have suffered in another era.

A Spanish matador was killed by a bull at the weekend, the first time one has died live on tv.

To mark the occassion, here's a youtube of an Australian commentating on bulls being bulls.

edit - also the one directly above this is brilliant.

This video was made a few years ago but is so beautiful. I really need to go back to the Southwest. I also love the song (Tornado by Jonsi.)

Rick and Morty perform the real transcript of an in court argument between a judge and murder defendant. Language is probably a bit NSFW.

Dear lord that guy is funny. The part of the year in review clip where he highlights Canadian violence by showing two guys yelling at each other had me on the floor.

Found some channels that talk about story and filmmaking over the last several months. These channels usually upload a video every few weeks. You can tell these guys spend a lot of time and effort into making them.

Channel Criswell: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCL5...VFLYBDiSiK1VDw

Every Frame a Painting: https://www.youtube.com/user/everyframeapainting

And for history buffs, there's a channel called "History Buffs" that reviews films focusing on their historical accuracy: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgg...BQHIiPmOxezeWA

I had this in my head and didn't know what it was. I knew it sounded like u2 or the cure.

A friend on facebook rescued me by telling me what it was.

Weirdly fascinating, almost has a Bob Ross happy little trees vibe to it when you watch a bunch in a row.

My sentiments exactly. I especially enjoy the old WWII ones when he breaks out the accessories pack and there are packs of unfiltered cigarettes from 60 years ago in there, which he inevitably goes on to burn and comment on in a way that would make Philip Morris proud. I don't even smoke but the sense of enjoyment conveyed as he lights up cigarettes that my grandfather probably puffed on in the 40's is satisfying in a vicarious way.

I think it was brought to my attention in a Reddit thread, and I've been watching this particular playlist for the last 3 or 4 days. Reminded me that I have a couple MRE's in my cabinet at the house that I got from some military folks that stayed at the hotel a couple years ago. Gonna break those out this week and get a first hand experience.

Hadn't seen any of those MRE videos, but that feels like a rabbit hole I'll explore soon.

Just for fun, I've been horsing around on youtube for the last 7 months making videos of bad drivers and nonsense on the roads of Northwest Arkansas. Watch if you are so inclined. Some might be interested, I guess.

This was amusing - especially the dog at the Sonic

As for the drivers, commuting in DC traffic makes everything else seem very tame. The level of selfishness required to pull of some of the maneuvers I see daily is really incredible.

Yeah, the driving around here is actually not that bad at all. It's just something I do for fun, not to prove something or anything. Thanks for watching.
