Day 5 results
The heroes had few leads at the outset of this day - each days attacks had been fruitless in ferreting out the enemy and hope was running on empty. Especially when Deadpool ran his sword through the back of Professor Xavier's wheelchair! The old man wheezes and spits up blood, his face ashen. Captain Britain immediately moved to aid him, projecting his force field around the father of the X-Men.
The next to act was Magneto, who is convinced that he has been betrayed by his comrade in Mutants First, Cannonball. He delivers a deadly attack combination, first immobilizing the young mutant - which breaks him from his protective cocoon - and then delivering a magnetic blast that drives him into a wall. That attack draws criticism from his peers, as Mathemanic unleashes a powerful mental attack, stunning the formidable mutant leader. Mandarin takes advantage of the opening, delivering a chop to the throat of Magneto. Wolverine, who earlier had deliberated on the merits of following Deadpool again, decides to escalate his old feud with Magneto and sweeps in for the kill! "Enough!" booms the voice of Erik Lesnsherr, as he waves his hand and casts Wolverine aside like a rag doll. "You will not treat me like some petty Latverian tyrant!" He then turns to Cannonball. "I trusted you, provided you shelter, all the while you were hiding behind Apocalypse's cloak! It ends today!" He projects all of his energies at Cannonball, whose face begins to stretch and buckle. His frame is not able to handle the pressure that is brought to bear, as he is ripped apart from the inside. A final strike from Captain Britain is landed, but unnecessary. Meanwhile, Spiderman's spider sense goes absolutely haywire, as Storm and Silver Surfer have him in their sites. How can he move faster than lightning and an alien who moves at the speed of light? Heightened anticipation, and reflexes that are not too shabby ... but can even Spider Man dodge the elements that Storm has gathered? The entire ship falls into a pitch black state, and lightning rages all around the area where Spider Man formerly stood. The thunder booms for two minutes, the lightning is unrelenting. This is truly fearsome. The very fabric of the ship is ripped open from the savageness of this display of nature, and the smoke and echoes continue for another two minutes. As it clears, there stands a huffing SpiderMan! Alive! "Is (pant) ... that the best (wheeze) ... you've got?" The pieces of Cannonball's body begin to flicker and fade, and a projection of Apocalypse appears. "You have shown spirit, and have proved your worth. But even the strong must fall before Apocalypse. My most dangerous horsemen still lurk in your midst, while the most powerful heroes have been cast aside or are exhausted. Your end is near - the wise among you would heed my call rather than dying beneath my boot." Night 5 has begun. |

I only have one special night action. It takes a lot of energy so that's why I have to save up. What I get to do is simple: I pick someone and I follow them. On the second night I followed Hulk. He didn't leave his room all night and no one came to visit him. I don't know if that means he's good (since we don't know if the Horsemen rotate night attacks or how they work), but I do know he didn't kill Sinister. As for tonight, I'm going to keep who I'm following to myself. Hopefully I'll live through the night and have something worth reporting in the morning.

X, you're alive.
Cannonball was killed, and was one of the twelve. That takes care of the last of us (you and me) who had not yet attacked a confirmed member of them.

Silver, sorry my attack failed. Spiderman apparently has some defensive skills that either marginalized or avoided a very heavy attack from me. |

(Silver Surfer) I was more worried about not having a kill and evil getting two tonight. He would have had to take double damage anyway, right? We shall see if Spiderman provides any useful information that might clear him tonight, as he asserts he can.

(Storm) Believe me. I was very charged up. It has been well documented that I have only performed two day actions, so you can have some idea of the energy I had stored. Re-read the writeup if you do not believe me. Folks need to start looking a little closer to Spiderman, because he evaded three attacks today (two by me, one by SS). |

Note - damage report to be updated to reflect damage directed towards SpiderMan - not sure how I missed it, as it is a big number - and Storm.

I'll be up for hours and hours more, but I'm curious to know if I'm going to have a colorful houseguest tonight or not. Need to plan my night actions.
And if RA plans on coming after me again tomorrow I don't know if I can survive it without help. But I don't know how i can expect to get help. I could help myself, but that would sap all of my energy for the next day. And I'm not even sure I could make it work, it's got some wonky qualifications to it. |

Something to note for me (since I know that I am not a horseman), and for others should I die and not be a member of the 12, is that Hulk and Gambit attacked me, even though at least one other member of the 12 (Cannonball, at the least) was very much on the chopping block. |

As I've mentioned before, I have a passive power that takes energy every day. It's my Spidey Sense. It allows me to dodge/avoid the first three attacks against me (unless the person attacking is extremely accurate).

(Storm) I almost don't believe this. If you can avoid the first three attacks, that means you are virtually unlynchable, unless nearly everyone attacks you and no one else gets attacked. On top of that, as our numbers dwindle, you become even more impossible to harm, as you sending an attack towards someone else could overpower four people attacking you. |
