He's a 9/11 conspiracy theorist. I know he's too effed up to have a serious opinion about those types of things, but he has offered to lend his star power to the movement. I can't have any type of respect for people like that. I just can't. I know it's the fun thing to celebrate his "awesomeness" and what-not, but I just can't do it, even jokingly.

I can understand that. If he was actually benefiting from this meltdown, I'd have a much harder time enjoying it. But this is all going to have a bad ending for him unless he does a ridiculous 180 at some point. So I personally feel OK enjoying the public downfall of a bad guy.

Wow. I did not know he was a 'Trufer'. I guess he's been hanging out with Rosie O'Donnel too much.

His politics are far less worrisome than his proclivity for threatening/criminally assaulting/shooting the women in his life. It'd also be a lot funnier if he didn't have 4 kids under the age of 7.

Ya, I'm grouping all that together. And I read that the kids have been removed from the home now.

I just googled those and they look pretty cool. Can't remember the last time I used a pencil (or wrote anything legible to someone besides myself, for that matter).

I think I'm going to get some of those Sharpie liquid pencils. I'd never heard of them before, but I write in pencil all the time at work. This could revolutionize the way I help market gum and cigarettes to consumers.

Perhaps a little personalized sketch on each pack, Pumpy. In liquid pencil, of course.

There's usually a completely different liquid involved when I'm around.

Perhaps I'm sharing too much.

Edit: I mean Mountain Dew.

On my way to work this morning, I passed a guy pretending (?) to shoot birds with his umbrella. He had it over his shoulder...then brought the handle to his eye, tilted his head, and aimed.

Oddly enough, it was on the same street I was on when I posted this about 3 weeks ago-

I was supposed to get a free t-shirt when I ordered season tickets for the Pittsburgh Power arena football team. I have the tickets, but I don't have the t-shirt. I want my t-shirt.

It's 9 games, but I believe you can get tickets in the upper level for under $100 apiece. I paid $250 for a ticket in the lower section, center of the end zone, fourth row. The people in the row immediately in front of me paid $1000 per ticket. Center of the end zone is my favorite spot to watch an arena football game, so I'm happy.

Good point. This probably explains why he went to Subway when I went to Potbelly (I kid you not). Gotta find a way to make payments on that nice white Lexus of his somehow...

Last week I went to an event at the convention center called Kidapalooza. They had reps from the Power there, and I signed up to win season tickets and a chance for a meet and greet with Lynn Swann.

If I win, I was giving them to you as a belated Pumpy Day gift....there goes that idea!

Man, hard to believe it's been 10 years already. I'm thankful that I still have my sister, but, I'm sad that 2 families lost their sons. I can still remember working that day and couldn't figure out why there were so many police cars, one after another, after another, flying by. I thought it was a chase on the freeway to be honest. I didn't find out until after I got home from work when my dad called me and said that my sister had been shot at school. A bit of irony, the kid who shot everyone, his dad worked at the hospital my sister was at.

Had a random, and probably too expensive for me, idea tonight. I thought it might be fun if I tried to celebrate New Year's Eve in a different city (preferably in a foreign country) every year......I'll throw it on my "to-think-about" list.

Wouldn't be that expensive so long as you planned it in advance. You'd have the whole year to save for it and could maybe even buy the ticket in June or July or something so then you'd KNOW you were going and it wouldn't be something you'd end up flubbing later in the year.

Depending on where you wanted to go, how you wanted to travel and so forth...

What a weekend. Friday was bad, work meeting that should have been an hour took over 2.5 and I almost lost my temper and DID get mad at my program manager for just starting to talk over me. Finally got out of work and decided to get wine because it had been JUST THAT BAD of a day and get a call from work on a different issue. Turned out to be a 30 minute call. Finally got my wine.

Then yesterday had grand plans to get a lot of stuff done like my taxes and go mattress shopping, but ended up being very uncomfortable (with my back) and spent the entire day reading (actually that's not terrible, I finished the book I wanted to finish).

But then I went out for dinner with some friends and on the ramp to get home, about 2 miles from my house, had my passenger front tire sidewall just blow. Managed to get home, luckily I had a friend who could help me since with the back, changing a tire isn't really allowed right now. But then he couldn't get the lugs off, so I had to call roadside assistance this morning. They came, then I drove the car to the place where I bought the tires (2 years/about 30k miles ago) and they're going to have my car all day so I can't go get my copy of the new Pokemon game and nor can I go mattress shopping.

And hopefully they don't jack me, the tire SHOULD be under warranty but I need to replace both front ones...booo.

I've used Eclipse a lot for coding in Python with the Pydev extension, and it's fine. I'm just starting to learn Java for android programming and I'm starting to realize just how much more powerful Eclipse is for that.
