I'll admit I was trying to be sneaky and work it in together. Unfortunately, it wasn't allowed. Hoops gave me two shots, at 6 am in the friggin morning (note when I went to bed! ) to choose which statement, and went with the first one.

But if I know I'm good, and I don't have any bad vibes about either Mathemanic or Magneto, then that just leaves three -- and frankly I haven't seen enough of any of them to have any sort of read. So either I'm wrong on either Math or Magneto; the three bad guys just happen to be the three bad guys we're looking for; or there is someone in your circle who is bad.

Doom was never on AIM to speak to me quickly and without thinking, per say. That's one advantage of it.

Cap, Moon, and X all were, and all typed responses quickly and consistently. There's no way I doubt any of them, Cap's acknowledge of Britain is even more solid now. And I KNOW Cap's power because he told me it before our time ended.

Doom, however, avoided me, like the plague. I think he knew the jig was up. He never showed on AIM, though I requested it.

Those two that are alive are good in my blind eyes. Moon clears Mandarin. X clears Britain and Gambit. Deadpool and Wolvie get passes for being vigilant in their attacks of Doom.

Spiderman told the truth.

Unless you somehow want to convince me deadpool was pulling wool over our eyes by constantly attacking his own...which is about the only argument I'd entertain, albeit lightly.

I just don't see how following someone one night equals good. You say yourself that doesn't clear him, and then a few posts later he's in the CoT based on the fact that he was truthful about following someone.

I also think that you're not taking conversions into account. I don't have a problem with you clearing people, god knows we need some cleared people -- and I suspect that probably two of the non-trusted list are bad -- but I question the wisdom of putting Spiderman specifically in that list based on the evidence thus far.

even if we have one baddie within our CoT, we can revisit said "CoT" at any time. it's not a guarentee of not being attacked. it simply means that it's most-likely that those outside the CoT are evil. If we get 2/3 outside of the CoT that will buy us A LOT of time to find the one within the CoT.

Not if you're not looking. And that's an easy thing to say from within. My whole line of questioning here is not to get into the CoT -- that will happen in time from either someone clearing me or my death -- but I'm just saying that if worse case scenario you've got one bad guy and one conversion in there right now, by the time you work through us the game is over and Apoc has won.

I'm saying the CoT is flawed, and you guys in it don't want to face that because you're safe from suspicion there.

Given the parameters of the game, I highly doubt it is in the game. If it were, I think it may have been broadcasted. I mean, what evil guy, think comics evil guy, wouldn't love to broadcast they took a turned a good guy into a bad guy?

I also think it may be a balance issue, something I never considered until I tried to run my own game (rather unsuccesfully, I think).

Admittedly, I'm not a comics expert -- but I think that is the reason I'm so convinced there is such a role in the game -- haven't there been many plots revolving around heroes that all of a sudden appear to be working for evil? I can remember a few just from glancing at covers when I was a kid.

And as far as broadcasting such a move -- this is WW after all. A bad guy isn't gonna brag that he just converted a good guy.

Well i think since we have heroes and villans in this game, i believe some heroes might be more likely to be converted then others

And while I also find it odd that DD selected that statement to determine whether I was lying or not, I don't know what all is going on behind the scenes. I'm sure he had a good reason for going after that statement. At least, I hope he did.
