Iowa was a 10 win team with a shitty pair of guards. They leaned on a freshman center and Wirfs and Alaric Jackson who was hurt a lot.

Wirfs made that run game and gave their overrated QB time to do stuff.

Wirfs is a monster and will be a perennial pro bowler

I saw a recent breakdown of the 2015 draft. The only great player out of the top 10 was Schreff, an O lineman from Iowa.

You would think the NFL would realize what Iowa does.

Trying to remember the last Patriot from Iowa.

I'd be pretty annoyed with Epenesa tonight, though fine with him on Day 2. Would much prefer one of the LB's (Queen, Murray) or EDGE guys like Chaisson who can occasionally drop into space, Epenesa is strictly hand in the ground (Same with Gross-Matos.) I guess the WR's are falling so maybe one of the speedsters is still there at 24 plus Delpit could be a McCourty replacement if he's there, though a trade down into the early 2nd to target Cole Kmet or a WR like Mims or Shenault is also my most likely guess.

I believe not a 1st round pick, BUT, Fernetz and belichek are close. Very close. There may be some influence there. But maybe not.

If it wasn’t for all the gross adverts and “we are all in this together” mush I would agree with you. Not having all the analysts in studio together trying to one up each other has been way better in terms of watchability, and no Deion trying to be down with the youth has also helped.

I’m partial to Justin Jefferson personally. I think he’s going to be great value for a team late in the first. He looked like one of the better college WR I’ve in a while every time I watched him last year.
