I stand by the reasoning for my vote yesterday, and it's even more well-reasoned today.

I think I've done plenty this game to draw attention to myself... Just ask Danny It's not like there was a bunch of movement in the vote that you're talking about. It was day 1, and I put down the 2nd vote on a 2nd candidate rather than picking a 5th candidate. I hadn't even seen RA's vote at the time when I was typing up my vote. If you want to suspect me, that's fine. Your reasoning for doing it here though are really weak. |

In the interest of keeping this from being a (complete) runaway, I'm voting for the one other person I know was around at deadline the night of Render's reveal other than myself and the proclaimed BG. I might change my vote if Danny gained any info from a block last night (I sure hope it was a block).

i always have tried to be on at the deadline. when I GM'd i actually built mechanics that forced people to be on at the deadline because that is when the best parts of the game occur. deadlines should be explosions, not whispers. as far was wednesday goes. i have already said that i had the thread open on my second monitor, but was in the middle of playing WoW and wasnt actually following along. I didnt refresh the thread from when we started the raid at 8:30 until we called wipe at 10:30...i can screenshot the guild calendar with my name on it if you think i am lying...you can armory my toon and see we took down sindragosa Sunday night. a vote for me because i had the thread open but wasnt reading it just seems very thin. |

You all seem set in your ways (well, most of you, anyway). We're at a critical stage right now. The Jackal's math is right--we're looking at 5-3 numbers, which puts us at end game if we lynch a wolf.
I'm nothing but an unroled villager. I can't prove that, and I understand that there might be information gained from me being lynched, but that doesn't mean I am a wolf. In fact, I have really done nothing to be targeted like this. Just the roll of the Day One fates put me on the block, and it feels like I have been running for my life ever since. I don't think I can even point at a vote for argument's sake--out of necessity, every one of my votes has been of the self-preservation type. So if you're set to lynch me, then do it, but I gotta tell you, this game ends tonight if that happens. We need to make careful choices at this point.

I know I'm a villager. I believe Danny is the BG, and therefore a villager. Autumn is now dead, and was a villager. Yet, someone put in an order to NK Render after his reveal close to deadline unless the wolves somehow had that order in beforehand and got extremely lucky. *That* is why I am looking at people that were around at deadline. Also, your post strikes me as odd. The first two paragraphs stress that you're around at deadline and how important it is, and yet the last one claims that you had the browser open but weren't active in the thread. I believe you killed your dragon that night. I don't know that I believe that you didn't refresh the thread once during your raid. |

At this point, nothing I would necessarily hang my hat on. Hoops' player by player takes didn't differ too much from mine, IIRC, except for his read on me and my read on him (of course). I essentially understand why I am targeted, so I don't hold it against anyone who wants to know my allegiance, but the way I see it, we're at end game, and we need to get past "making meaning out of past votes" (which is what is happening to me, it seems) to actually voting someone for wolfish behavior. If we had more time, going for me makes sense. But since we absolutely need a wolf today, I think we should explore what little wolf evidence we have. Right now, the most standout piece of evidence we have is the deadline work from Day Two that J23 is talking about. I couldn't be around for that one--I was at my second job that night. Since I wasn't around, I don't know that I can offer candidates, as I am going through second hand knowledge myself to even know who was around (beyond actual posts, I mean).

I'm in the same boat re: Day 2 deadline, CR. So not really sure how to proceed with that line of questioning.
I'm up for alternative strategies, but about the only one I can come up with at this time is that Danny was bluffing at the bodyguard role and it didn't exist in the game. Could that be the case? I've dismissed it as being pretty remote. But maybe the wolves wanted to trade the brutal wolf for the bodyguard and move ahead with the rest of the game without worrying about a role, with the small chance that it didn't exist. Pretty thin, but that is about all I can come up with in terms of "thinking outside the box". Any other approach would be kind of the old "throwing darts" approach at people who look slightly more/less suspicious. If the Autumn/CR pairing that I more or less saw the first couple of days is in fact vanilla/vanilla then we are probably out of luck and were not meant to win this game. Again, I'm all for looking at other options - I wasn't 100% set on Autumn last night until the point where it seemed like he became resigned to his fate. At that point, I was pretty sure he was a wolf because it was out of character for my "Autumn villager profile". |

I voted for the Chief two days in a row and haven't gotten anything to show for it, hopefully third time is the charm.
Vote Chief Rum And when he comes up as a bloodsucker you will all know that Lord Vilus was right (again!). If everyone just followed the Dark Lord you would see that we can catch the enemy much more quickly

So...we're probably at 5-3 right now. We need a block tonight as well as a wolf lynch to survive I think. From reading the description, it takes a night for Michael to be converted.

I don't think so man. I agree it's 5-3 but if we lynch a vamp (which I'm almost certain we will) it'll be 5-2, then their kill will make it 4-2 and if we do get the brutal it'll be 3-2. So worst case scenario (besides lynching another villager) is we have one more day after today.

Agree that duke might be an OK option, given the fact that there are not likely to be many people here in the event we wanted to change votes.
I still think that Chief Rum is a good play here - voting records on Day 1 make so little sense to me if he is not a vampire - but would not be upset if the Duke decided to take a shot in this spot if he feels we're going in the wrong direction. |

The crowd has decided. After little debate Chief Rum is deemed to be a vampire. You begin your search and soon you find him. He is sitting quietly in his room watching a movie of some sort, you see the case and it is something called "Thighlight". Then you hear that familiar "porn music" playing...
You drag him out of his room and into the streets. As you raise the stake and prepare to plunge it into his chest a car horn it heard. The car crashes through a conveniently placed wooden fence. A spike from the fence flies through the air and plunges into saldana and he drops to the ground. J23 gets out of the car, Grandpa. He has changed the lynch vote... You search saldana and find that he was a vanilla villager. Just then Chief Rum "vamps out" and grabs hoopsguy, ripping him to shreds. DarryTorgo (Paul) then vamps out to join Chief Rum. They turn ans say "Join us Michael". Darth Vilus then turns into a vampire and walks to join DT and CR. They have evened the numbers and thrown a shutout. Not since the Giants' pitching staff has a performance looked this dominating. Game over!!! Vampires win!!! |

Some very interesting things going on this game. I'll let the players explain but the "seers" were perfect.
The wolves were given an ability to also scan for Michael, to help them a little with the numbers game as they were down 11-2 to start the game. You will also not believe how close the village was to winning this game quickly. |

Well, I wish I had gone the other way with my initial vote yesterday. Wonder if we would have actually had a fun day of werewolf.
If I had been the one duking I think I would have gone with Jackal instead of Saldana, but still been wrong. Danny, why didn't you protect RendeR? RendeR, why didn't you give up a wolf if you had one when you were under the gun on Day 2? The fact that you died as a seer, while saying someone seemed suspicious to you, made me think they were your next targets for a scan rather than a wolf because I certainly thought you would give us a wolf in that spot rather than take the risk of going to the grave with that info. |

Just to be clear, I scanned Both Chief AND DT nights 1 and 2, I simply couldn't get that information out before the night kill got me.
Had the bodyguard protected me night 2 we'd have had the game over the next two nights. |

Hoops: I was prepared to do exactly that, however late on night 2 the vote shifted off me and having made such a fuss I fully expected the bodyguard would cover me that night, allowing me one more day to give out information.

Just wondering if the wolves had any reservations about going after RendeR in that spot, fearing that the BG would be there?
And did the wolves pick up on RendeR as seer, versus just "roled player" prior to offing him? |

Yes. CR was the brutal, and his brutal was going to be Danny and we were going to night kill Hoops. Then Darth and I just needed one more lynch and it'd be over. Really really lucky game. We found Darth on N1. N2 we would have converted him, but I was here and switched our kill to RendeR when he basically came out. Good thing I did it turns out, as he had scanned CR on N1 and had me as his scan target on N2, so we would have been totally finished. Really just turned on a thread with a ton of luck in this game.

I was the only wolf on at that point between CR and me. I figured the BG wouldn't have enough chance to switch to RendeR given it was within like 30mins of deadline that he pretty much came out. I had probably a 90+% feeling he was the seer based on him saying he was torn between CR and me...figured he had scanned one of us...which he had. Just thought we really had to take the chance there to get rid of the seer. If we'd been blocked though yeah, that would have been the end of things. No reservations though...nope. We were down 11-2 to start...I can't believe we pulled this thing out. Wow.

What would have been the downside of revealing your scan though? Obviously it's always good to string the wolf out and see what they reveal, but you could have revealed CR, and then reveal DT the next day if the bodyguard blocked you. |

We almost had a duking to the BG. Well, not exactly almost but the order was out there. It was corrected after J23 read though the thread to see Danny had revealed (and it was conditional so it wasn't definite) but I thought that would have been rather amusing (just with Lathum as still in the game it it had happened ). But maybe that is the inner wolf in me.
