Hasselbeck misses Engram by a country mile on 3rd and 10 - Seahwaks punt rolls dead at the ATL 27 yard line. 2:39 left in the 4th, Falcons 3 points down, and Vick is back on the field. Game on.

Green Bay rookie WR Terrance Murphy getting some action now. He looks like he has a pacifier in his mouth. Thats some kind of mouth guard.

No, I'm not kidding you. Of course, I'm not saying the Denver Broncos defense of '05 is the '85 Bears either. I said they've played like it for one half. This is one of the most dominating defensive performences for a Denver team in the last three decades. For one half. Actually, for one and a half quarters. This is complete and total domination. And the Chargers are a GOOD offensive football team. This INT will come back and it'll be Chargers ball, but this is just incredible. Even on the last drive, the Chargers made some plays, but the biggest was a catch by Gates with two defenders draped all over him. This is an amazing defensive performence from a team that could have mailed this thing in at halftime after the start they've had. |

I agree. Great defensive play has set up the Broncos nicely in the second half. Tie game now. Broncos gotta do something offensive to win this, I would think.

Way to put a game on a yougn QB - Vick goes back out again with ATL 4th & 14 & Shaub needing to convert to stay in the game...
Broken up - Seattle get the 1st down and will win

One of the cooler things I have seen at a game.
Packers need a defensive stand on 3rd down to get the ball back and the crowd started chanting Reggie!Reggie!Reggie! To bad it didn't work, first down pass for the Browns.

And I am right. Touchdown pass, 62 yards, for the Browns to put this one away. Somehow the only guy near this damn Heiden guy is a defensive lineman who had no chance to catch him. I hate Heiden. And I never knew him before today.

Kurt Warner is trying to mount a last minute revenge drive against the Rams. 53 seconds left and the Cards just moved into Rams territory.

Why aren't the Chargers calling TO here? I'd have been trying to preserve clock any way I could. I'm happy they let it go though. I sure hope we get these two yards here. We need to get 15 more yards so we can let Jason end this thing.

Jets wrap it up with an interception. Frerotte was playing much too panicked on the last posession there. There was nearly 4 minutes left and they needed a score on the drive, not necessarily a touchdown. It was a bad throw.

Honestly? It's just too early to talk division yet for anyone. The Chiefs have tough games left, including coming into Denver next week. Their defense is improved, but their offense is aging, especially the important part, that O-Line. The Chargers are still a good football team. They have a tough road ahead, but I don't think it was as much your offense today as it was the Denver defense just dominating in the second half. Any team with LT, Gates and a solid defense isn't going to just go away. And the Broncos have talent. Their defense has a chance to be something special, and they showed that in the second half. I wouldn't write them off yet, though they need to play more than a half to be anything more than the first round knockouts they usually are. I'd wait about 6 weeks before making any assumptions about this division. I think all three teams still have a good shot. (I do discount the Raiders, that defense is just too bad.) |

Is Buffalo either:
A. Wearing these uniforms all season? B. Switching to these uniforms permanentlt? C. Just wearing them occasionally? |

NFC North is much worse. The 'clear favorite' to win is 0-2 in the Vikings. And Detroit, a favorite among many people just got hammered by the Bears. Anyways, sorry to see the Chargers lose. I can't stand the Broncos.

He struggled in the first half. Meanwhile the secondary was picked apart by Hasselbach. He played much better in the second half. Had a couple of overthrows, but also a couple of dropped passes. The good thing for Falcons fans was that he didn't quit and neither did the team. He set up their last TD with a nice run (the one where he tweaked his hammy) His numbers, while poor, weren't all that different from some of the drop back passers today (Manning 122 yards, Delhomme 154 (on 11-26), Brees 175 with an INT, or Carr with 167) |

According to BuffaloBills.com the decision to wear the throwback uniforms again this week was based on a 75%+ positive response from the fans when they were asked if the team should use the uniform more often.
Will they do so again? Probably. When? Who knows. |

Anyone see the Buffalo-Tampa game and catch the tampa fans chanting "Who-Dey, Who-Dey..." in the stands? Fucking rip off artists...I don't even LIKE that chant but I know damned well it belongs to CINCINNATI!
Unorriginal bastards in Tampa, can't even get their own chant. |

3 Superbowls and 12 NFL titles overall. It looks like this year is once again a chance to look back on those. And I will not stop being mad about that. Same head coach, and same ugly uniforms. I still do not like them.
