We have to admit that this statement is ironic in light of our current exulted position, appointed by God.

EF - nobody is voting against you because we're "elitist" - we are all voting against you because we believe it is the correct play. It just happened to shake out that way. In past games it has shaken out against other people. Hell -- I have revealed and not been believed before also.

if that's true that sucks - but credit to path for dropping hints to fall back on and crafting a great fake reveal then.
We will soldier on, with or without bodyguard, rooting out reformers in the name of the king. |

As the day continues, the peaceful mood of the morning once again turns to talk over which among you may be heretics. It does not take long before Eaglefan runs out of the crowd claiming that he was assaulted for his belief by Path12! A group of guards grab the both of them and drag them up on to the platform before the entire town to see.
A handful of local bishops take their turns asking each of them questions in order to try to determine whom the heretic may be, but in the end they can not decide and leave the decision to the people gathered around. Both Path and Eaglefan are given the opportunity to speak their defense and in the end it appears that the majority of people have chosen Eaglefan as the guilty one. The guards walk towards him to bring him over to the executioner, when he suddenly lunges for Path12! You can not see exactly what happens but suddenly Path's face turns white and his eyes grow large.. He crumples to the ground like a sack of potatos.. He was stabbed in the back with a knife held by Eaglefan!! One of the local Bishops decides he has had enough and he orders that Eaglefan be tied up by all of his limbs and stretched until his limbs come off. Each piece of his body shall be placed in a different part of England as a reminder to any reformist whom may decide to try to spread their word here. As Eaglefan is tied up, it suddenly becomes obvious that this is none other than the infamous Martin Luther!! You seem to be able to tune out his horrific screams as he is served his punishment and a few people look to find out more about Path12. After looking at his family coat of arms, you realize that Path was Edward Stafford, Duke of Buckingham! It is now Night cycle. Deadline for any night orders is 7am ET in the morning. |

lathum - I find you to be largely free of suspicion at this point, given that.
the other wolf (and perhaps the traitor as well) are in the group of: henry, telle, cronin, laxjunkie cronin was the 2nd vote on EF, I'm not sure what to make of him. I think part of that may be b/c I have been burned so many times by him as a crafty wolf that I am naturally suspiscious of him (and vice-versa, him of me) |

I did no such hemming an hawing - I just waited a long time to vote to see what developed, because I only have ultimate trust in myself + BK at the moment (with lathum right below us)

I fully agree with Barkeep on Lathum - I don't consider him cleared. But, barring a seer reveal, I'm not really considering him.

is that cronin trying to hide a vote on EF on day 1 ? Is that henry trying to sneak his vote in there on Path right after telle does and try to get a little run going?

I just find it hard to believe that EagleFan and either Henry or Lax would vote together day 1. Maybe, but I find it hard to believe. So looking at the other votes: Telle I think is the traitor. Barkeep and path are cleared. That leaves Lathum, DaddyTorgo, and myself. I know I'm a villager, that leaves Lathum or DT as the other wolf.

so looking at the others - it's either telle or you that are the wolf, lathum potentially the traitor (from my POV - as I have stated about him earlier)

so I take it you're trying the claim the role of one of the king's hot ladies...which is all fine and good except that really tells us nothing, as the reformers know which names aren't used, and the king has no idea.

I had expected this game to start earlier when I had more free time which I was I have been under the radar. I think lax is the other wolf since he voted for path after hearing the counter reveal.
As for me, i voted before the reveal and I felt it was a 50/50 proposition on who was telling the truth so while I was reading the whole time, didn't change my vote. In retrospect, the body guard always blocks himself early so I should've believed path.

Another day begins as the sun rises over the English Channel, but today there is grim news indeed. During the night, there was a MURDER! St.Cronin was found dead and in death was revealed as Princess Mary Tudor, daughter of the King!
Surely such actions can not go unpunished! This had to have been work of the reformists! Day 3 has begun. Deadline for lynch votes is 9pm ET. Just a quick game note, I am going out tonight so the lynch may be a little delayed, but it shouldn't be much past 10pm. Deadline is still 9 however. |

One other quick game note in case people needed to know this information. There is no weekend play for this game, it will be ending either with a loyalist win or a reformist win by tommorrow evening at the latest.
Schedule for the remainder of the game: Day3 deadline - 9pm ET Night3 deadline - 7am ET Friday Day4 deadline - 5pm ET Night4 deadline (if needed) - processed immediately after Day4 lynch. Last edited by Alan T : 07-17-2008 at 08:15 AM. |

So st.cronin's death kills off any theories involving him as a wolf or the traitor. What does that leave us with?

leaves us with telle/henry/lax
of those three i think we collectively have a stronger belief (based on your play so far) that you are the traitor telle - which leaves us a 50/50 toss up between henry/lax as to who the wolf is. based strictly on vote-analysis I think i am leaning towards henry, but my mind is far from made up. just in case the tiebreak is something wonky though VOTE HENRY296 |

Well I need to vote in the next hour and a half. I don't have much trust for lax.. but then there really isn't much to go on with henry either.
