I basically jumped a little hastily on some lines of thinking early on and people thought I was trying to hide behind their logic.

Hmm, I missed that part. Why are we (and by that I actually mean the plural you, to whomever it applies) assuming saldana is a villager? |

Not enough time to really read the thread. I'll help put the nail in the coffin and hope for the best.

Because typically it's villager vs. villager on D1, and we also didn't see a lot of movement as stuff tightened up towards deadline last night. It's not a sure thing, but we're operating on that likely assumption as we look towards the smallest pool of potential wolves.

I want more to go on than that before assuming anything. Do you think there would have been a lot of movement off you to sal on D1 if sal were a wolf? I don't think so -- so I don't see how "there wasn't much movement to him" means anything. Or do you mean there wasn't movement to save sal? If so -- why would there be? He didn't seem in any real danger from when I read back. |

Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas!!!! Is heard ringing through the hills. Though there seems to be nothing merry about this Christmas as the vision of EagleFan still haunts everyone and bloodlust is beginning to replace the holiday spirit that Santa's Village is known for.
PackerFanatic and Darth Vilus are the front runners and many feel that at least one of them had something to do with the murder. There is little debate but a lot of jostling and finally it is decided that PackerFanatic must be the culprit. As you bring him forward someone points to the television which is showing highlights of a Lions recent victory. This seems to make him the most upset. "New York, you have been naughty!!!" Is echoes through the village. "No Cliff Lee for you!!!" Then before anyone can react someone quickly puts PackerFanatic down and out of his misery. You search his body but all you see are his pointy ears and his Elves Toymakers Guild card. PackerFanatic was a vanilla villager. |

Ugh. My DSL went down just at deadline.
Double ugh. I was feeling a bit worried here at deadline, but I thought we had gone on a pretty solid hunch this time. |

Hopefully someone else has something good in the voting. That was the only real hunch I had. Well, maybe I'll see something else when I go back through, but I spoiled my good streak of hunches!

As night turns to day the village gathers in Santa's workshop and everyone has a sinking feeling in the pit of their stomach. You notice that only 11 have made it to the workshop.
Passacaglia and Darth Vilus are missing. Have they overslept, or has something far worse happened? You search everywhere and can find very little.... very little left of them that is. It seems that someone, some thing, or some group has taken much frustration out on both of them. You begin to search for clues. You find Passacaglia's guild card. He was an ordinary elf. Then youfind Darth Vilus' antlers. You search more and find that he was Blitzen. Passacaglia - vanilla villager Darth Vilus - Blitzen (bodyguard) |

Wait, crap. Is that one of the special wolf powers, an extra kill? Nope, not unless that was their gift to make up for losing Jack. Or was Darth guarding Pass and got killed? Sometimes that happens if the brutal does the kill but I think EF would have spelled that out in the rules. I guess Pass would still be alive though in that case. Double crap.

Well, thoughts on why they picked Pass and DV? Those don't seem obvious picks at all. Did DV let on that he was bodyguard? I hardly remember him posting at all. Pass was active, so maybe there's a clue there as to why he was targeted.

Well, crap. Trying to look at this in a positive way, but three villagers down... ugh. I guess, time to go over everything from today again. |

well that doesnt exactly seem like a very beneficial "bonus"...we proc the extra villager and they get an extra kill...what exactly was the point...all we got was one extra guy for one day.

So quickly looking back, my first thought is, what's up with you Danny? This is a very strange Danny game - I'd say it was wolfish but I would expect wolf Danny to be just on top of things as villager Danny.

By pure math, there are 11 players left in the game and at least (I'm guessing this is the correct number too) 6 roles left in the game. By my count, that's a 60% chance of hitting a role today, since I know I'm a vanilla villager.
The only person who really jumps out at me after reading through the thread is Chief Rum. VOTE CHIEF RUM I can switch it up later on after work. |

Oh, and out of the 60% chance of hitting a role today with the lynch, we have a 50-50 shot of hitting a wolf.

Last thing...it's actually less than that if you consider the probability of the wolves manipulating the vote, so I think we have a pretty good chance of hitting a villager or a villager-friendly role today. Not good.

Gotta get ready for work, but why would the wolves hit Darth? Wouldn't it seem as if he'd at least be a good candidate for today? Did they know he was the bodyguard?
