I understand there is a reason why these kids are at UW-Milwaukee vs a bigger d1 school but I just don't understand why these players aren't smarter with the ball. You're a quick point guard with a big slow guy on you and you dance around at the top and pop a three from 3 feet beyond the arc.. just stupid.

I normally can't stand the Shirsey, but these Louisville uniforms look pretty good.

I don't think that's an "admission." That's the best pair out there.

Highest difference in the four games is four points. Yeah, have fun with those brackets.

So now, as traditional the question is:

How boned is your bracket as we approach the end of Day 1?

For once, the answer is "Not really that much".. I only lost one Sweet 16 team (OU)

Fairly, I'm down 2 Sweet 16 teams. But they are the only games I've missed.

Now I'm greedy. I got my buzzer beater. Now I want Louisville to go down. Bracket breaker time!

So on the buzzer beater, say the defender did tip it and he touched it after the horn (shot clearly before the horn), but the shot goes in. Does it count or does the defender's touch end it? (Or in this case send it to OT?)

I'll have to find the link, but I think the end of game decision is on the offense handling the ball, and a defensive player is like the backboard.

Gottfried could've taken him off the court. I know Warren just had the steal +1, but pull him for that auto-foul possession and put him back in after St. Louis shoots their 1st FT (they were in the double-bonus).

Major mistake there. We have another potential OT if they can hit a last second three.

OR do you go for a quick two and then immediate foul?

Wow!

San Diego throws the ball away on the inbound with 13 seconds left.

Another game in OT.

Wow. Give the kid 4 chances and he finally hits one.

Shady, shady call. I know that should have been a foul live, but you can't give that ball to NM State.

I'm with you on that. Twice I just don't see it, and that one was clear off the shooters hand. The defender hit the off hand while the shooter still had the ball.

I can only believe here the refs gave them a makeup call.

The bracket is still clean at the end of the day. Four over times and at least two other games at he buzzer.

Today's going to hurt. I turned off the computer but I stuck it out through to the end last night. I can't remember the last time games went until after midnight CT but all the OT had me up until past 12:30

so 2 wrong on the day, that's pretty good for me. Had Texas and NDST wrong. Had Oklahoma going another two rounds so that's not good. Lots of people still perfect in my ESPN bracket, anyone know how many are still perfect in the Buffett contest?

Looking forward to seeing Coastal Carolina play today, unfortunately its one of the last games of the night. Don't really want to wait all day and then watch them lose by 20 or 30 at halftime.

Good luck to "your" team today and all your brackets of course

Only 18,000 perfect brackets out of 11 million on ESPN, not sure about Buffett.
