I also don't think there is a single disappointed Jet fan in the country at this point.

Logical fallacy, character assassination. He and others have made good points. You ignored how gawd awful the Chiefs were in Gonzalez's final years there. Few people will be happy with a franchise or staff that is leading a crap team along on a pointless season. I don't blame Gonzalez at all for turning to stats as his motivation in thsoe last years. And bad teammate or not, I am certain his performance did help the Chiefs in those years, even if they were "selfish". 100 catch seasons and what not tend to do that for teams.

Nice argument, guy. Edit: this is clearly and obviously in regards to MBBF. Last edited by Vince, Pt. II : 10-09-2013 at 12:26 PM. |

Yeah, it's kind of hard to blame a guy who missed 2 games in 12 seasons for being selfish when his focus in the last two years may have turned to his statistical production and essentially his legacy as a player considering he was probably pretty confident he wasn't going to win a playoff game with Brodie Croyle, Damon Huard and Tyler Thigpen as his quarterbacks.

Certainly better than some guy just half assing it cause they don't care much anymore. At least he found motivation somewhere

Don't worry guys, just wait it out, as soon as Gonzalez is in the HoF as a Chief he will once again be the consummate teammate.

He's a very good player. No one is questioning that. I agree that people will likely see him as the consummate teammate when he goes into the HOF no matter how erred that assumption may be. |

Don't players go into the Pro Football HOF without any short of team affiliation? I thought that was just a baseball thing.

I think the busts show each team a player has been with, but I've never been so can't say for sure.

Interesting video on the final Romo INT. Hate sitting through the 30 second commercial to see it, but an interesting video none the less. |
