Griffin is Vick-ish, but seems like a better reader of defenses.

If this was the pros, was that a non-TD on the Calvin Johnson rule?

All that after it looked like Baylor would have been happy with OT. Guess Oklahoma is regretting taking that timeout now.

Man, oh, man. A handful of Sooner players could have picked that ball up around the 40 yard line instead they let it go and no one picks it up and game over. Geniuses.

I don't like LSU, but I'm hoping they win out and get the title. They could have just sat back and done the "we're in the SEC so we have the hardest schedule game" but instead, those games against Oregon and West Virginia should mean that even if they lose to Arkansas, they should remain at #1.

I have a hard time seeing Arkansas outscoring LSU in Baton Rouge against a healthy* LSU secondary. Arkansas's x-factor, Adams on returns, will be neutralized against a punting team that averages less than .5 yards per return.

*One thing to watch out for, Eric Reid got what appeared to be a nasty thigh bruise tonight. If he is somehow out next week, that can really change the dynamics of the game.

They at least went on the road for a non-conference game to handily beat a 9-2 Penn State team, which is a lot more than a number of teams can say.

I can't jinx it if there a huge underdog, and they are down anyway. But if somehow Cal pulls the upset, lets just say I threw them on a super cheap 4 team all underdog moneyline parlay , and the other 3 came through lol. 10 bucks to make 1600

I really don't get why it matters that they're playing this week. So what if they played Georgia Southern today while someone like Virginia Tech was playing UNC? Alabama has still played a much tougher schedule, and by week 4 they had played Penn State and Arkansas while VTs toughest matchups had been Arkansas State and East Carolina.

After saying this so many times, can you possibly understand an alternative point of view? How about thinking that these games now and the ones coming up next weekend and then conference championship (at least some of them) are the playoffs. Why the fuck would you (those whining for playoffs) want to start this all over again as if what is happening now are just exhibition games?? Can't those wanting a playoffs just fucking enjoy the games now for the immense excitement they generate instead of looking for some contrived nonsense (BCS, playoffs or whatever)? College football has a long history for big regular season games, for rivalry weekend and for weekends like today. That's good enough.

Listen, Georgia Southern is no joke. Nobody has scored more on Alabama this season. Either They are a solid team, or If I'm Alabama I'm a little bit more worried about next week.

BTW this is just a little tongue in cheek. but really Georgia Southern aint bad. but yea still FCS

Taking nothing away from Southern, but Bama did sit out/limit a number of guys who were banged up.
