TURN 5 REPORT:
HARRRRR! An applicant on Ye Olde Waiting List! A first for The Brotherhood. Yet our active list be cut down a bit, as we’ve lost some brothers. So we be needin' more applicants! Pirate lore o’ th’ day: “It be true that dead men tell no tales, but then they don’t do a whole lot o’ things.” Grim tidings…Pinkbeard be dead. We’ll honor his memory by offering up his +1 dueling sword and 30g in a Turn 6 (Action #1) dueling tournament. Same tourney rules as before. Torstein the Unholy has been forever lost at sea. The manner o’ his death be unknown. Rumors of his 22g horde being hidden somewhere may be investigated by taking a “Quest for Torstein’s Gold” action at any time. Vlad the Pillager has met with an untimely fate raiding along the coast. A d6 crew, late of the "Royal Viking Star," will sign on with the highest bidder in Turn 6. Posted Quest (VOTE): The Brethren have spoken, and the dead Frenchman’s 7g are to be put up fer the following contest: Each pirate o’ The Brotherhood is to come up with a motto…a short phrase or sentence that best speaks to th’ essence of pirating. Each pirate will then vote for their favorite entry – and ye cannot vote fer yer own! The winner takes home the gold, and we take the motto as our own for The Brotherhood of Turducken Island. 1. "Get yer hands off me booty!" (Ravenbeard McNasty) 2. “Turducken Island, bringing families together through raidin' and pilligin'.” (Antonio D’Griffin) 3. "Admiral! Thar be wenches here!" (Java Rob) 4. “Come enjoy Days of Plunder with The Brotherhood.” (Feverish Billy Rumsucker) 5. “Ahoy wench! May I fire my cannon through your porthole?” (Lazy Eye Quinn) 6. “Avast ye maties, free rum tomorrow!!” (Raider Lizzie) 7. "Steal, Loot, and Burn" (Vaclav the Cruel) Posted Quest: “The Emerald Ghost” Feverish Billy Rumsucker spent 6g to obtain the info. Remember to list a mandatory Drunken Debauchery action if you have one for Turn 6. Also note any crew losses or ship damage, as well as accept or decline any trade offers. = = = = = The results: Iron Foot William (153g) Accepted 31g from Raider Lizzie Accepted 42g for the hostage, and 24g for resource cargo Turn 5 Actions: 1. We be tradin' our plunder- accept any offer on the hostage, accept any rolls of 3/4 on the cargo in the holds = 42g was offered/accepted for the hostage, 24g for the 1st cargo, and 4g (not accepted) for the 2nd cargo. 2. Raid on ye olde coastal town using mediocre(2) plans(Master of Sterling Silvers II & Davy the Cunning= Raid on ye olde coastal town) = Raid 29 (2 + 2/3/5 + 4/6/1 + 1/4/1) versus Defense 16 (5+2+5+4). A bloody victory! The town’s coastal battery damaged both the “Hellantic” and the “Gold Piece,” and crew losses were taken as well by Iron Foot and Sterling Silvers Jr. 23g was plundered, and foodstuffs of 3g+3g were taken aboard the “Hellantic” and “Dread Ship Cougar.” 3. We be tradin' any plunder we have left = 6g (food) and 8g (resources) have been offered. Do ye accept? Cruising d4 Boarding d4 Raiding d4 Plans: Fishing Village [1], Harbor City [4][3][1], Fortress [4] Dueling d4 Trade d4 HARRRRR! d6 Ship "Hellantic" d4 -1 Holds: [3g food][4g resources] Crew d4 -1 Next Drunken Debauchery: Turn 7 = = = = = Sterling Silvers Jr. (121g) Accepted 31g from Raider Lizzie Turn 5 Actions: 1. Both ships and crews suffered losses. 3g food was taken. Random Event: You’ve been approached by some cast-offs from other d4 crews, who are willing to join your crew for free. Accept all offers on goods and hostages! Send 39g to Java Rob as his portion of the loot. 1. Quest: Duel! (I want me that duelin' sword!) 2. Plan a Ye Olde Fortress Raid 3. Recruit d6 crew. Bid 10g Fer the slogan, I be votin' in Java Rob's direction. Also methinks that ye fergot ta remove the excellent plan fer a Harbor City raid. Although, I wouldn't mind lootin' them again, I'd bet that they'd be more ready for us this time. Last edited by Raven Hawk : 10-06-2005 at 03:32 PM. |

Arg, mateys! This be the round o' actions fer Lady Elizabeth the Blond and the illustrious crew of the Blackened Catfish:
1.) We be dueling!! While we mourn the loss o' a fellow Cap'n, I not be seeing the need fer his sword to be buried at sea with himself. 2.) Attempt to trade me cargo again, as the previous offer twer not to me likin'. I be acceptin' the next offer if it be better than 21g an' 24g, respectively. 3.) Trade whatever may be leftover from action 2. No lower limit, just be gettin' it out o' me ship's holds. Fer the vote, I be going with the Cap'n Antonio D'Griffin. Tis all, Raider Lizzie
