Sigh...you need to get me a corporate job, Lathum. I'm tired of this serving bullshit...
Or maybe I should just finish up with school and get my ass a job in a hospital. Either/or...

Ok just to recap the vote counts of players not playing the game:
NoMyths 1 (Swaggs) Jeeber 1 (Fonzie) I think this clearly shows that Fonzie is a werewolf because NoMyths admitted to being a wolf and yet he votes for someone else... Last edited by Barkeep49 : 07-07-2005 at 12:01 AM. |

The rains slack off in the evening and by night the clouds have parted, revealing an impressive array of stars for those that are out late at night. The night air is still for the most part, though there is a brief commotion early on, but nothing like the screams of last night. Towards the morning though, the village is awakened by the sound of metal clanging - the fire alarm! Everyone jumps out of bed and rushes out to find one house on fire, though with the wet wood the fire spreads slowly and is soon put out. Unfortunately, the charred body of Lathum is found inside. Strange, though, the fire seems to have come from his body OUT to the rest of the house, though that can't be, can it? The village is taking in this tragedy when another shout goes up from the other side of the church. Another body has been found, but kingfc22's is torn apart like the others have been, and his house ransacked. A hush falls over the village, there is more going on here than many suspected, it seems.

Hmmm, so it looks like Lathum was killed by the magicians but while kingfc22 was torn apart like werewolf attack, I find the comment about the house being ransacked odd. Another faction?
Of course Lathum could have had a role that enabled him to kill someone before his death. Like a version of the hunter. After going through the posts, I've also noticed that Lathum was indeed a good guy. Can't believe I didn't see that, freakin' sleep deprevation. |

Shaddup you evil magi .
Possible that wolves are fighting against the mages as well and used Lathum's post to pin King? If that's the case though, then one of the fations do not get to kill every night. Last edited by jeff061 : 07-07-2005 at 06:00 AM. |

Darn. I got home from work yesterday and my power was still out. It came on around 3:30 AM (After being out 26 hours from Tropical Storm Cindy) and I wake to find I'm dead.
I won't say game related at this point to respect the rules of the game. |

I was hoping someone in a bodyguard type role would protect Lathum, which is the only reason I mentioned you would be a big target. Wonder if one exists, if it does you failed .

So now we've got magicians killing people too? Wonderful. Apparently the wolves weren't enough for us to worry about.

Well last night's events are most disturbing, most disturbing indeed. I agree that the bodyguard, if there is one, failed last night.
But my question is this: Wasn't lathum trying just a bit TOO hard to get killed? I mean he came out so sure of himself and who he was flinging accusations against, without any sort of corroborating evidence. I think the theory that he was the hunter figure makes the most sense. The wolves/mages (it would seem that the mages did this, so what the heck did the wolves do last night? Lick their paws? Can only one faction kill a night) targeted Lathum and Lathum took out the person he "knew", for whatever reason, to be guilty. |

Maybe. I am however putting a lot of stock into the writeups.

I know you guys have less to go on with no roles being revealed in this game. I'm hoping though that you'll gradually be able to build a picture of what's happening, it will just take a bit longer.

So what do we know so far?
*ntndeacon had a sword on him when he died. *Lathum called ntndeacon evil *Lathum called King evil *Lathum got burned probably for calling out King *King got killed probably by wolves Having a sword makes ntndeacon look like a knight. Was he a knight? Was he evil like Lathum said? Did the sword not make him a knight, but a mage instead? A mage with a sword still seems odd. I'm guessing the mages set Lathum on fire since that seems spell-like. Does that mean Lathum was a knight and was fighting the mages? The wolves probably killed King who was identified as evil by Lathum. Are the wolves working with the knights? Do they just have a common enemy? What is going on? |

NTNDeacon was not a knight in my opinion. I would like to point out again to please consider that there may be other evil roles besides werewolves and magicians. Just like we had a cultist last game, that faction may exist again in this game. I'll keep saying it until I'm blue in the face, but a sword is only a tool. I agree with you...mostly because I believe Lathum when he called ntndeacon evil. I am a bit hung up on the sword-knight connection, but that could just be a red herring. |

Here are my first thoughts on what happened last night:
Lathum was good. He was blasted by the magicians because he could see evil doers, passively or actively. Kingfc was an evil doer who was eaten by wolves in an attempt to frame Lathum, whom they believed to be some sort of seer; frame him rather than eat him in order to deflect attention from the real wolves. I'm guessing that the wolves had no idea that the magicians would blast him. |

Very possible, but do you think Lathum really needed to be framed? It was pretty obvious that he had some kind of sight and he had put a pretty big target on himself. I'm guessing that nobody knew the mages could blast him, but I would think that he would be a target for them. |

I think it was an opportunity to sow confusion and they took it. If King gets eaten and Lathum lives, he gets lynched the next day since everyone would have thought he was a wolf. Then attention gets focused on people that followed his lead. What they didn't count on was him dying on the same night.
