No, I'm named after my cat! Come on guys - I'm not a wolf!!!!! It amazes me that Pass moves his vote to avoid a bandwagon on Mau, but when he starts one on me, it's not a big deal. |

We do, Pass...I thought that meant something to you. All those moments we spent together...laughing, sharing, are you telling me it meant nothing? |

Dola - in all seriousness, I am trying to follow everything today, and I'm getting the impression people are just paranoid. Is this normal for WW games?

Vote Olliegirl
I'd try to talk but I'm off to the movies with the wife. We're going to see Dan In Real Life. I have no real basis to the vote except for the fact it looks like it saves me, so as long as she's no worse than a villager we're okay as that's what I am. Chalk one up for the good guys if we get rid of a wolf here. See you all soon. |

Not sure specifically why - his behavior/analysis just seems a little "werewolf-like" to me. |

I looked it up. It says ties are broken with an "unknown method" or something to that effect. Pretty confident we'll still get a lynch.

If I die tonight, I'd advise you all to look at Pass and Mau...Pass pulled his vote off of Mau b/c he didn't like me voting for Mau, even though I'd already said I was leaning toward Mau before Pass voted for him. He said that he didn't want to be responsible for a bandwagon, but when the bandwagon on me started, he didn't do anything to stop it or move his vote.

Yeah, I can see where you're going with that, as I did the same thing to you, but decided to move when I saw it going the other way. I only put a vote on you because you had multiple votes, and I was trying to make sure mau wasn't a runaway (which would have made this vote meaningless). No idea what the tiebreaker is, though, so good luck. And incidentally, I have no more idea that mau is a wolf than you. These were the cards the vote swings dealt us, so I played them.

Although, since CR is the one responsible for this tie, and he's high on my suspicion list, that worries me.

I find this interesting. This is ringing some bells with me. Pass, you say that you don't want to start a bandwagon on oliegirl, yet you piled on mauboy and then switched to oliegirl...both being bandwagons. |

IIRC, it was 4-3-2 (jh) with 5 people left to vote after I made my selection. If jeheinz picked up 1 vote and someone moved off olie, he would be tied for the lead. Ironically enough, CR did that seconds after I posted, but the point remained that being 2 down with 5 voters left isn't a lost cause. And, unless self preservation is in order, I'd prefer to vote for the person most resembling a werewolve over piling on others I don't feel as strongly about.

Another aside on Pass' comments: Interesting that the two people that most strike me as WW (Pass and JeHeinz) are involved in a post where one criticizes someone for voting for the other.

Basic question - do werewolves have the ability to talk to eachother? For Arlie's comment to make sense, it would seem to me the wolves are aware of the other wolves and can talk to them.

They have full communication privileges...they can PM, IM, email, etc...so while we are all here trying to figure out who is who, they are conspiring and deciding who to play against each other and who to kill that night. It's a wonder villagers ever win a game of WW. |

Actually, it was 5-4-1, with jeheinz' only vote coming from BK before you and I voted. There was a recent vote for both olie and mau before you voted, so I could see it being 4-3-1 when you voted. But jeheinz was nowhere near in danger, even before the added votes to olie and mau. I wouldn't have switched to jeheinz if it would put him at risk, because the point of my change was to create the tie (not introduce a new candidate).

Oh, correction. Re-read your post. So, after your vote, it was 5-4-2 (not 4-3-2). And of course, since we voted almost at the exact same time, it never was really 5-4-2, but was 5-4-3 before anyone could register it.

Believe it or not, I haven't been on FOFC all day (since early this morning). I hadn't planned on that happening, but a friend was able to watch my daughter, so I was able to sleep as much as I have been able to in a long time. I told my wife to wake me up when she got home at 4 p.m., but she didn't (she figured I needed the sleep).
I guess it wouldn't have mattered a ton, since I couldn't vote anyway, but I still wanted to explain.
