Forgot to say the reason why you guys are even voting for an arrest:

As everyone is mingling around the punch bowl, and chatting a bit, you hear a clunking noise an then a something slamming shut. You have no idea where it's coming from and kind of shrug it off. A few minutes later, Mr. Price is suddenly very upset.

"Someone stole my priceless vase from the Wang Chung Dynasty!!!!! I demand that we find this thief and have him or her arrested!!!!".

Everyone looks at the person next them with suspicion. The debate begins. Who is it? You will all have to use your sleuthing skills and come up with a suspect to be given into police custody.........

Danny, you are vouching for PB, but you don't know who he is?
PB, that's a pretty big typo. Just for that, I should let my vote stick on you...but...

UNVOTE PURDUEBRAD

I am Shaggy, I have the munchies, Abe's Jimmy John's sounds amazing, I wish I had some clams to bake and I could use the help of the Mystery Machiners. 28 minutes and I really don't think Abe is a good candidate either.

I am not vouching for PB, but I read his reveal as legit. I see no reason to lynch him now, if he is a wolf fake revealing it will come out soon enough.

I'm not a super powerful role so my reveal doesn't screw us but I am one of our main six.

And if my typo keeps people on me, that's cool, concentrating on RL got in the way. And frankly, I'm much more deliberate about what I say when I have fur, fangs, and claws.

10 people and only Danny and RA moved. So I'm either doubted or people are going to hedge it. Danny, my vote is likely to come off of you but I need to find somebody that will carry over me and I think over Abe.

So where to then? I don't feel good about lynching Abe, but there aren't too many options. I thought about Telle since there wasn't much from her, but saw in her post she might not be back on tonight and I don't want to put a vote on someone who can't defend herself (or himself).

PB, you seem to think that you have a read. But I'm pretty sure that Abe has stated in the past that he does not leave clues when holding roles.

Assuming I'm not pulling a Clemens and "misremembering" I'm wondering if you can help me understand how you have come to the conclusion that he is good?

FWIW, it may sound like I'm trying to lead a lynch mob on Abe ... I'm not. But I am trying to understand the logic of a guy who is claiming a good role and was not willing to take all steps to protect himself earlier against an unknown entity.

For the record, since it appears obvious I am about to die, I just want to say thanks Schmidity! It was a really clever theme actually. I wish I could have played it longer.

In the meantime, I am going to assume that the various people misreading me are either wolves or half-interested because its Friday, so I'm good. It was annoying to have people vote for me for reasons that aren't true. It's like saying, "I'm voting you because you've been a wolf lately" when you haven't been a wolf in months. Anyway, good luck gang!

I just thought of something - My kidnapping thing doesn't work as a replacement for a "lynch" because how would anyone know who was kidnapped or their role?

I know it's cosmetic, but grrrrr.....

I never leave clues people catch, is what I have said. I also never get them. Even in the last game, when told to write something about blue, and I talked about the Miami jerseys with orange being better than blue, I still didn't get read.

However, in this game, I am just vanilla, I have no role. So although I appreciate PB's suppor,t i cannot back up his claim that I might be anything other than who I am. I'd much rather bite it that PB at this point. So here we go, Day One Lynch!

Thanks Abe for verifying. At the very least I knew you were good based on a lot of your play/argument today and was willing to give you the benefit of possibly having a role based on post 147. Anyway, I did trust you so I'm glad to know I was at least right there.

Weird suggestion: A duke move here? If we believe Abe as good, that would give me, Abe, and the Duke as COT (plus Scooby). Don't know if that is a good idea or not but a thought...

It's rare I play this over the top on day 1 Abe, I expected to have a bit more influence but there was no track record for me to stand by.

Anyway, this outta be an interesting deadline as we close.

Danny can be dangerous as a wolf and his vote just struck me as odd since he usually uses the rule: PB always has a role or is a wolf. He normally gives me a day or two to prove which. So it is a minor thing.

Because I normally, don't vote PB day 1. That happens to be true, but I am always going to put my vote where I think it is best even if that means voting someone who I normally do not.

PB, I agree that a duke move would help give us a starting point for a COT (Scooby + Duke + likely you) but I do not think we could throw Abe into that group just yet if it played out that way.

FWIW, I do think that Abe is sounding more like my perceptions of his "villager self" since returning from Jimmy Johns.

PB, the tactical error I see here is that if you're good and you believe Abe is good, why put off the reveal? You knew that barring some mistake by someone it would come down to you two. Maybe you should've revealed earlier so we could move votes to someone that you didn't know was good.

Yeah, my error was in believing that over the last three hours that I could go front and center and sway people. And no, I'm not being sarcastic, but I figured it would be such a break from my normal play AND an on the radar play that people would be convinced.
