"You're all idiots! There's some wierd shit going on... we're all getting eaten... and all you care about is nabbing Mafioso!? If I die, I die by my own way!"

Sack then turns the gun at henry296...

"Not before I kill you, you motherf-"

A bullet penetrates deep into henry296's skull. He slumps dead on the ground. SackAttack then turns the gun on himself. SackAttack pulls the trigger. His body slumps backwards and falls into the well. You all head towards his room and look around... you find a seal of some sort, perhaps Mafioso? You then decide that SackAttack was Mafia!

You look around henry296's room... and find a ton of stuff regarding mafia et al. henry296 was the Investigator!

Just one last comment and then I'll shut up. My role specifically allowed me to choose one person to die as well if I got lynched. I don't know about the others.

i understand that, but seeing as how this is the first game ive been in, the fact that the rules/roles seem to change every day is a little bit annoying to me. obviously the mafia lt roles was one of the "secret roles" mentioned in the original post, but it just feels to me that this game is slanted pretty hard to make it next to impossible for the villagers to win.

Sorry I switched subjects. By we I was referring to the villagers and my thoughts about the positive events that could come out of tongiht with Henry still alive. Of course now that he turned out to have died, the kind of messes up my carefully laid out percentages. So I'm going to say all things considered losing 1 mafia for the investigator is a minus for the village.

My guess is that one or more villagers also have secret roles. For instance there I would not be surprised at all if there was a doctor type, which is often a lesser form of a bodyguard.

No. You could be either the werewolf, because perhaps the investigator can't see wolves, or the turncoat, who the rules specifically mention will be seen as a regular villager. I don't mean to be rude, but you should expect this sort of thing given the number of things Neon_Chaos indicated up-front would not be revealed. If you don't like the game morphing under foot, then you should consider playing games that don't include secret roles.

Actually, I think the X-Com game was as crazy as any I've been in, and that was GMed by SirFozzie. That one didn't have any public roles.

Interesting choices of victims. Cartman was pretty quiet, and about the only thing poor ardent did was vote for Sack and MrBug (the latter only after Bug voted for him first, although ardent claimed it was for "no reason").

Looks like the bodyguard(s) was (were) unlucky tonight.

Ugh. How did this get so ugly so quickly? We have 13 people left. By my estimation, there are probably two wolves and possibly two mafia left. That means it's 9-4 villagers. We need to get it together. Since this looks bad, I'll out myself. I'm the seer. That's why I was pushing henry to admit he was the seer. If he did admit it, I would not have trusted him and come out then to get him. It all made sense once he said he was the investigator. I received two PMs from Neon_Chaos concerning my role. The first one said I was the Investigator, and the second one said it should have said I was the seer. I can detect the wolves but not the mafia. I missed the first night action because I thought we were going to start the game with a lynch instead. Oops. However, I did get lucky on night 2.

Vote Mr. Wednesday

Mr. Wednesday is a wolf. I checked out dubb last night, and he is definitely not a wolf. Probably should've checked out blade, but if I live through the night, I'll clear/damn him.

Did you read my post? I assume that henry could not detect wolves since I cannot detect mafia. That is why I would see if you're a wolf. At this point, I think it would be nice to be able to check someone out.

Why did I check out dubb? He also voted for henry. Mr. Wednesday (a wolf) voted for Sackattack, so I figured if there was more than one wolf, they would try to spread their votes. Not many choices on who to pick from, so it was dubb. Plus, he seemed too suspicious of henry yesterday.

Do what you want, but obviously you didn't read my post thoroughly enough.

I'm not sure what to think of RA's developments. Mr. W has laid low so far, so it would kind of fit with the pattern of being the wolf (wolves)?

However, given Blade's highly suspicious actions, he needs to be looked at strongly. If we're going to look strongly at Mr. W here (which it seems pretty clear we should), it might make more sense to lynch Blade tonight to find out for sure if we hit him (seems pretty likely that Mr. W can be had the following night).

Then again, there is a lot to be said for taking out Mr. W tonight. I'm undecided, but leaning towards voting Mr. W.

I guess it comes down to what RPI says. Vote Mr. W and risk Blade, if you are in fact the Seer Raiders. I'm guessing you are the werewolf seer and Henry was the mafia seer in that case? Blade does make a good point in counter though. Neon is pretty good on waiting til the deadline before moving onto the next day, at least when I was mafia the first time. As a villager, it's kind of a long wait.

Neon PMed me at 11:17 the first day asking me if I had a night action to turn in. I didn't get it until about noon since I was away from my computer. That's what happened. I don't see what the consternation is about whether to vote Blade or Mr. Wednesday. I have confirmed that Mr. Wednesday is a wolf. I don't know about Blade. I think everyone can assume he's not a member of the mafia. I can check him out tonight, and as far as I'm concerned, if he does check out, then he's safe for the rest of the game (barring a conversion of some sort...if that's possible in this game).

By my estimation, there are probably two wolves and possibly two mafia left. That means it's 9-4 villagers. We need to get it together. Since this looks bad, I'll out myself. I'm the seer. That's why I was pushing henry to admit he was the seer. If he did admit it, I would not have trusted him and come out then to get him. It all made sense once he said he was the investigator. I received two PMs from Neon_Chaos concerning my role. The first one said I was the Investigator, and the second one said it should have said I was the seer. I can detect the wolves but not the mafia. I missed the first night action because I thought we were going to start the game with a lynch instead. Oops. However, I did get lucky on night 2. Vote Mr. Wednesday Mr. Wednesday is a wolf. I checked out dubb last night, and he is definitely not a wolf. Probably should've checked out blade, but if I live through the night, I'll clear/damn him.

Mr. W has laid low so far, so it would kind of fit with the pattern of being the wolf (wolves)? However, given Blade's highly suspicious actions, he needs to be looked at strongly. If we're going to look strongly at Mr. W here (which it seems pretty clear we should), it might make more sense to lynch Blade tonight to find out for sure if we hit him (seems pretty likely that Mr. W can be had the following night). Then again, there is a lot to be said for taking out Mr. W tonight. I'm undecided, but leaning towards voting Mr. W. __________________ Quis custodiets ipsos custodes? I'm guessing you are the werewolf seer and Henry was the mafia seer in that case? Blade does make a good point in counter though. Neon is pretty good on waiting til the deadline before moving onto the next day, at least when I was mafia the first time. As a villager, it's kind of a long wait.
