Dude, do you get drunk every night of the week? Not criticizing or anything but that's gotta be hard on a liver after a while... Or, damn I'm old, heh. FM

And the Grape Nuts that I'm eating right now aren't helping at all. *cringe*

The call from my buddy, who is throwing the party tonight.
"Okay. So you think 2 cases of Smithwicks, a case of Guinness, a case of Bass, a case of Harp, 8 pack of Murphys, and a bottle of Jameson and Bailey's is enough?" |

Do you know if they'll be serving beer at the Palace? I thought there was some rule saying you can't serve alcohol at NCAA events. Not sure that just applies to on campus events or not. If I recall correctly, last year I went to a couple ACC tournament games at the MCI Center in DC and I don't think they were serving.

checking in. 2.5 hours later i have visted 3 of the local bars. lots of green beers, but i wasn't drunk enough to request a st pattys day hat
turns out that limo bus was a dud. no one else wanted to ride it, so i passed as well. i foolishly agreed to go to work from 4-7 , but will not let that stop the drinking party besides, this is the last day the radio is giving away free tickets. i can utilize the other worker so we have twice the chance of winning  |

2nd check in. spilled by vodka-cranberry mix at work, co-worked asked if cranberry was all that was in it I emphatically said yes. she knows, and has known for quite some time, about my drinking on the job. but in the end, no harm done.
in any case, i'm about an hour away from making the rounds at the local spots, again. finally gonna get that fucking hat i deserve |

well, i'm calling it a night early. seems after a few hours of drinking i always turn way to introspective for my own good and nothing seems fun
ironic that this morning i was remarking on what a beautiful, sunny, relativley warm, bird singing morning it was, and now I find myself wondering what is the point of it all |

Both grapes and piles have vastly different meaning to us Yanks. They have nothing to do with each other in the "most accepted" form of English. For those in the US who are scratching their heads over "piles", that is a term that the Brits use for hemorroids. For those on the isle, Grape Nuts are a brand of breakfast cereal. I don't remember seeing an equivalent when I shopped at Sainsbury.

Amazingly didn't get too drunk tonight.
We started at noon, absolutely pounded away beer. The food soaked up the booze quite nicely, however, and my liver did not flee my body. |

I'm still four, or maybe even five sheets to the wind.
The breathalyzer that I bought from the Sharper Image shows me as a 0.18. I think I'm way beyond that, though.

They can choose to serve alcohol at NCAA events, but I think many places have a rule against it at on campus sits (not sure if it's an NCAA rule, conference rule, or school rule). The one benefit of Gopher football at the Metrodome is they do serve beer there. Grossly overpriced Miller products, but still beer. It'll be interesting to see if they do it at the NCAA tournement games at their though. |

I have no clue what the hell happened yesterday. I vaguely remember playing some video games, Watching 'The Exorcist', and talking to some chick I thought was hot at the time. I can't remember her name or what we talked about, but damn.

My parents went to the Dominican Republic for vacation recently. They brought back a bottle of Mamajuana for me. If my guild can get Nefarian down tonight (World of Warcraft), I will be drinking in celebration.

Stayed out late last night, drunk alot more than I should have. All I remember was winning a game of 301 darts in a personal best 5 rounds, and calling some bitch at the jukebox and incompetent moron. Somehow I ended up with no hangover, which is good since I have to leave for work in 10 minutes.

dola,
It just got a whole lost worse. I was emptying out my pockets and found two tokens that say 'no cash value' in my coat. I truly have no idea where those came from, couldn't have been the local bar I thought I spent most of the night at edit - believe it or not. Things continued to get worse as I walked out to my car. Sitting in the backseat is a 20 year old stool that I dug out of the dumpster near my place of employment last night as I was taking a piss behind the building Last edited by amdaily : 03-19-2006 at 10:09 AM. |

I have never had a sip in my life of any form of alcohol...is that odd? I just never got the urge to(smoking/drugs too...just never felt compelled)...though i am still a freshman in college, so im sure someone will trick me eventually
