I remember that game/incident vividly - I don't think I've ever argued as hard against a fellow villager as I did with you in that game.

That can't be the only time that's happened. According to my memory, in half the games we've played together, you've pushed hard for me to be lynched... and only occasionally, as in this latest iteration, been correct.

You might be right, but that Resident Evil game was perhaps the worst I've done it! I feel bad because Ardent is the other person whom I seem to have done that to alot as well in the past, and I ended up going after him this game as well!

I think in the future if you and/or Ardent are villagers, its probably in everyone's best interest just to lynch me at the start to play it safe

Oh, just read back through the Resident Evil game some.. now I remember.. I think that was the first game I started using my "Blade strategy". I had gotten tired of being killed the first few days of every game that I decided to be completely and entirely untolerable for some reason.

Hoopsguy actually ended up either sending me a PM or saying it in the thread or AIM or something that he hoped he never had to be villagers on the same team as me ever again..

I think that game was an example of one of my worst moments in WW

I gotta hire Thomkal to do my PR. I'm sure I would have been posting in this thread after Day 2 if he hadn't taken over for me.

heh I was all ready to post here myself saying something to the effect of "well at least I can blame it on Pass" But I almost blew it for myself when I couldn't get my vote switch in on time due to my crappy 56K connection. I was happy to step in for you Pass despite the challenge of fending off the lynch right from the start.

Hey, where is my thanks keeping people from voting for you? I might have been completely wrong to the reason why I felt it was a good idea, but the end result was correct at least!

Likely a sunday night after Render's game is complete. I'll post a sign up list probably a few days further into his game. No sense in taking away from his game by advertising mine just yet.

Definitely too early to die. Boo!

Disregard the "Day 5" part and focus on the 3rd man out of the game.

You got killed on post #1,993! That's 40 pages into the thread!

Then again, maybe I shouldn't post here since I got killed on post #1,449.

Raiders, I'm never going to criticize someone for posting in this thread. In fact, I think too few people post in this thread.

We're never going to catch up to the Maximum Football thread if people decide to internalize their frustrations over dying "early" rather than posting here!

See I think the frustration over dying early is not having had a chance to participate and enjoy the game. With your dying on Day 5, I just don't feel like you had an early death, regardless of being the third person to leave the game.

I'm frustrated because I don't have the slightest idea what's going on in Alan's game and I can't do anything about it because I'm not playing. Surely I must be allowed to post here then. Not playing = being killed Night 0. And I want to help chip away at Maximum Football's stranglehold on the post count total title.

My game was set up entirely to frustrate people who chose not to play. THat was my intended goal, and I am glad to know that it was a success!

This post helps us to beat the Maximum Football thread...although I seriously think it will take us 30 years to do that at this rate.

Someone needs to create a game where 95% of the players die on day 1, think they are out of the game, post here complaining and then get brought back in day 2 only to be killed again in day 3 where they once again can post their complaints here.

As an added bonus, you're also frustrating the people who did choose to play the game. Well done!

I'm not bitter about dying, I'm bitter that nobody told me that I didn't have to be Barkeep's lover, we could've just been close brothers. Last time I take a romantic canoe ride for two...

At least without knowing who you're going with. A romantic canoe ride for two by one's self is not the best of ideas!

I just realized this thread has 1/7 of the posts in the current game going on. Good luck. It's going to be a while before we catch maximum football here.

Hmmm... Maybe a better bet is to have a game with 30 or so people where no-one dies for the first week but there's lots happening anyway. Actually, isn't that what Alan was aiming for with his game?

Exactly - the real downer is when people actually die early and can't be bothered to post in here. They just suck momentum away from this little beauty.

The second issue is that the stupid Max Football thread seems to find legs about once a month due to some new idiocy on their forum and/or statements by the game designer. Unfortunately, that thread is still a moving target.

I blame Alan for limiting the scope of the thread. Strike the word "early" from the thread title and spread the joy around.
