Perhaps they have several of the QBs graded close enough that they'll be happy to take whoever falls to the 2nd round.

Am I missing something about Gilbert's background? Assuming "no" then can you imagine the uproar if that question came from Rich Eisen?

I don't know. The Browns are without a doubt the most ineptly managed team in the NFL. Everyone's new there, I think. They have to do something.

But you're right. If they aren't sold on any quarterback, better to wait.

I have no issue thinking beyond a single draft. I just don't think this year's crop is worth worrying about if you don't get a guy. The Browns have little issue in backing Hoyer for better or worse.

I don't like him. Teams supposedly like nasty offensive linemen, and Lewan is also a hell of an athlete. But he seems screwed up in the head.

I like to stay away from players that behave in a way that would lead someone to described them as "screwed up in the head". If they go OL and he's still there, I'd still rather they take Zack Martin.
