Indianapolis @ Denver Denver dominates early and leads 27-10 late in the 3rd. Indianapolis makes it 27-13 with just 4 seconds left in the 3rd with a field goal. After forcing a Denver punt; Indianapolis goes on a 20 play, 96 yard drive to narrow the game to 27-20 with 4:56 remaining. They force a three and out and start from their own 42 with 2:31 left. Four incomplete passes later and they lose the ball on downs but force another three and out. After the punt they start from their own 1 with 37 seconds left. They again see 4 straight incomplete passes to turn the ball over on downs. A kneel down ends the game as Denver wins 27-20. Indianapolis Chad Andrew ends the game missing on his last 8 pass attempts. Denver linebacker Trent Sexton had 5 tackles and 2 assists. New York Jets @ New England The Jets lad 10-3 after the 1st quarter but the Patriots dominate from there as they outscore them 24-3 over the last three quarters for a 27-13 victory. 2016 Super Bowl
New England vs. New Orleans New Orleans leads 30-27 in thriller with 2:11 lwdtr as New England starts from their own 5. They drive to the New Orleans 25 but are forced a field goal attempt which is good to tie the game 33-30 with 29 seconds left. Three plays later and the game is heading to overtime. After holding New England to a three an dout on the first drive of overtime New Orleans start at their own 37 and drive to the New England 33 with a 1st down. New England stops the drive on the next play with an interception. After each team exchanges a couple punts New Orleans starts at their own 40 and drive into New England territory. Drew Brees hits receiver Lester Lane at the 20 and he could go the distance, inside the 10, the 5, he gets hit at the 1 and the ball is loose; New England recovers and doges a bullet as the game is now entering the second overtime. The second overtime shows how tired the teams are as they fail to build much momentum and New Orleans takes over at their own 44 with 1:12 remaining. They drive to the New England 35 with just seconds left in the second overtime and attempt a 52 yard field goal...... It's GOOOOOODDDD New Orleans wins the first double overtime Super Bowl 33-30. New England quarterback Leslie Noonan was 29 of 51 for 384 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception and ran 1 time for 12 yards. Baltimore @ New York Jets The Jets lead 20-3 entering the 4th and 20-6 with under 12 minutes to go as they are driving for a score that could clinch it for them but a 99 yard interception return turns the game around. After holding the Jets to a three and out Baltimore drives the distance to tie the game 20-20. The Jets respond with a drive that ends in a field goal to make it 23-20 but Baltimore hits a field goal with under 2 minutes left to tie it at 23. The Jets only reach midfield and punt and Baltimore runs out fo time and the game goes to overtime. Baltimore receives the kickoff and drives into Jets' territory but a fumble ends their drive. The Jets respond by driving into Baltimore territory and hitting the game winning field goal as they win 26-23. New York Jets wuarterback Stanley Green was 23 of 34 for 291 yards with 1 touchdown and 4 interceptions and ran 3 times for 17 yards. Buffalo @ Kansas City Buffalo trails 15-7 heading into the 4th but an early touchdown and two point converion ties the game 15-15. After forcing a punt Buffalo hits a field goal to take an 18-15 lead with 1:38 left. Kansas City drives just across midfield but they stall there and turn the ball over on downs as Buffalo wins. Minnesota @ New Orleans New Orleans wins a defensive battle 14-3 thanks to timely offense as the only 2 drives they had of over 30 yards were their two touchdown drives. Minnesota linebacker Kim Muerch had 8 tackles and 4 assists. Seattle @ St. Louis St. Louis jumps out early and maintains their lead in a 31-20 victoy as Sam Bradford throws for 344 yards. 2017 Super Bowl
The battle of New York. New York Giants vs. New York Jets The Jets lead 14-3 at the half thanks to a pair of 20+ touchdown runs. The Giants score twice in the 3rd to take a 17-14 lead going into the final quarter. The Jets tie the game on the first play of the 4th quarter with a 38 yard field goal to make it 20-20. The Giants go on an almost 6 and a half minute drive to kick the go ahead field goal, 23-20 with 8:37 left in the game. The Jets drive to the Giants 43 but punt to pin the Giants deep. After forcing a 3 and out The Jets get the ball with 1:58 remaining. On 3rd and long a sack and fumble gives the ball to the Giants who run the clock out for the victory. Stanley Green missed the game with an injury. Desmond Mason carried 9 times for 25 yards.
