After an entire day of searching through the 1980's, looking for any possible hint of the dreaded aliens, you come to the conclusion that CrimsonFox is acting quite strangely. You call in some of your allies, native to the era, to see what they can find out. Unfortunately, they are just... a tad bit overzealous. Upon hearing that CrimsonFox might be an alien conspirator, or worse, an alien himself, your ally loses it, opening up a can of whoopass on poor CF.. ...perhaps next time you should not hire Frank Dux as your interrogator. ...Frank's vicious punching liquifies CF's insides, and he crumples in a bloody heap. Extensive research and testing, however, determines that he was a Citizen of the Industrial Era. Furthermore, you all have decided you've have enough of Frank and his merry band of lunatics, and convince the Doctor to head for the Industrial Era. Night 1 ends in 1 hour. |

Unfortunately the wolves now have more info for a fake reveal, but based on CF's abilities and my own, I'm pretty sure those who are truly citizens of an era will be able to snuff any attempt at that.

Damn - My apologies to all... My son's hockey game ran very late. I expected to be home by 8:30. I am sorry I missed the deadline.
I'll read thru the thread (it looks like it blew up when I left work to pick him up. Almost as many posts in the past 4 hours as there were in the entire thread previously). I promise to do better tomorrow (no more games until Saturday). I'll take the 10 lashes using the Yak tail now... |

The doors to the TARDIS open, and the Doctor and his compatriots rush out, only to discover all is not well. NTNDeacon is there, well...some of him is there. Specifically, his head. It's taped to the door of the TARDIS, with a short little love note: "INFERIOR BEINGS SHALL BE EXTERMINATED. DALEKS REIGN SUPREME. TRY THE VEAL." NTNDeacon was a Citizen of the Modern Era. After this grisly sight is fully taken in, you are treated to another surprise...since when did people in the 1870's have bell-bottom jeans and tie-dye shirts?!?! Where's the coal burning hellholes? Where's the spiffy top hats and canes? Holy balls, it's the 1970's! GROOVY! The Doctor rushes to his console, and discovers an error in the Time Vortex Central Processing Core. This can only be the nefarious work of the Master! You remain in the Modern Era, Day 2 has commenced. Last edited by Coffee Warlord : 04-04-2011 at 10:14 PM. |

It's a bummer we lost someone in the modern era since we're sticking around. From the write-up, it lends credence to Autumn's idea that an individual bad guy performs the kills.

The time travel failure caused by The Master also suggests we were on the right track to try and get out of this era.

Well that night didn't clear much up. I thought NTN was probably good. That they went with a bhlloy voter rather than a CF voter might be the only thing of note there.
It seems the Master can derail our time travel. The reason to stay in the modern era seems obvious, two cunnings there. Makes the scans less useful. I suppose it might mean that they expect whoever is the modern cunning to get scanned and want to stay here long enough for that to happen. |

I think bhlloy is our strongest vote. I had the very strong sense down the stretch both from him and other voters that we might have a wolf on the line. Knowing I'm good and seeing the votes up above, the wolves left only Danny and JAG sitting there as bhlloy voters. I feel fairly good about both of them, which leads me to think the wolves may have been trying to avoid voting him feverishly.
I'm heading out so I'll go ahead and cast the first vote and see what you guys come up with by morning. VOTE BHLLOY |

One passing comment. That's all it took. As you explore the debauchery and insanity of the 1970's, Autumn looks over at bhlloy, questioning openly whether or not he is on the side of good. Not long after, a terrible wind comes up, and the words, "EMERGENCY TEMPORAL SHIFT" echo all around, in a terrible inhuman voice. You feel time dilate, as an entire day speeds past, with you helpless to do anything. With no other discussion by those who would defend or oppose him, the soldiers of the 1970's open fire, killing bhlloy. Shortly thereafter, you notice bhlloy amazing getting up, his wounds miraculously closing! But it's too late. Bhlloy is lost in time and space for all eternity. Time dilates again, and you and your allies (and enemies) warp through time and space, speeding away from the 1970's into parts unknown. bhlloy was Jack Harkness! ATTENTION ALL: All those with MODERN ERA night actions (and all those with may-use-anytime actions) may PM me immediately with new night actions. Day 2 has ended. Night actions will be processed as soon as I get them. If I get all necessary night actions by early tomorrow morning (before 11-noon at the very latest), the night will run, and Day 3 will commence as scheduled. Wow, talk about a bizarre twist and a big pile of suckage with the outcome. With Harkness gone, that opens up the Ancient era as a reasonable possibility for travel, but it makes sense to see what happens with the night actions before making any firm plans.

Well, that wasn't very good then. Interested in knowing who was around when Autumn was here - I have a hard time thinking that Autumn was a wolf pulling this off.
My interpretation is that Autumn placed a vote and then the wolfies used a special ability ending the day. Bholloy consequently had the only vote and was lynched. I reckon the game is balanced with all the time eras. There might be hidden wolf powers in Medieval and Industrial but the wolf advantage in ancient times was that the Bodyguard didn't function. With Jack now dead I think shifting to the ancient era is our strongest move. Time Ancient Going to look at the voting records but I can see why bholly didn't want to reveal as revealing would sign his death warrant. I think we need to look at the people who didn't move off of Crimson though - no way a wolf would be able to fake that on day one. From now on it's not going to work so well, of course. |

Meh! This looks even worse.
1) There's not much point looking at people who didn't move from CrimsonFox as it was a villager-villager and if the wolves had any sense they'd rather take out someone who a) they know is a villager and b) doesn't want to reveal their power then someone who claims to be a minor villager. 2) Unless Saldana is a wolf there's nothing to be gained from the voting records for day one. Or day two. And it doesn't seem very likely that the wolves would cut away all the day one candidates to leave saldana as the only remaining one if he was the wolf. |

I think we need to take a step back and look at the people who weren't involved in the vote yesterday. My guess is that it was all-villagers and, therefore, there was no need for the wolves to get involved at all. My only concern is that the way the kills have gone saldana seems to have been set up to be scanned. I suspect that he will come up villager if he is scanned, whether he is or isn't, so I suggest that a scan of him is wasted.
I don't understand why NTN was killed to be honest - unless the wolves thought his different play style meant he had a role. Seems that the wolves have brought a lot of clarity to day one but got lucky with bholly being Jack. At the moment I have quite a lot of trust for Danny based on the knowledge he seems to have and that's about it. Not really much point going on until we see what happens tonight. |

Even though it would not be typical, I lean toward all 6 bh voters being villagers. Other than me, the other two voters who are alive are Autumn and Jag. I don't see Autumn making that vote and then using an ability. It seems more likely the wolves capitalized on a villager vote.

I agree with your thinking on Autumn to some extent Danny, although I don't think he's completely in the clear. I hope Autumn has some idea who was around at the time he voted, EagleFan is the only other one who posted in the shortened day two. But why do you lean towards thinking that Jag is a villager?
By the way I guess I'm the only one who reads Jag's name as "Yaag" when I read it - that's (approximately) how you pronounce the Swedish word for "I". |

I got the impression Jag knew some of the same information I did when Crimson revealed. It's possible he was just piggybacking on me, but that's the impression I got anyway. Additionally, would the wolves have narrowed the field of bh voters with their night kill?

And both Jag and Autumn were active leading up to deadline where as I agree with you that it seems more likely the wolves were sitting back. They are not cleared by any means, but I'd look elsewhere for now.

Just wanted to make some minor color changes to the above. I'm going to hold back on my thoughts until after night actions are run so as not to give any guidance to the wolves, but my schedule this morning is pretty poor, so it probably won't be until noon-ish CST.
