Seems fitting for that region. With the two lower seeds winning today probably the two higher ones win tomorrow. Not that I want it that way.

Perked up with all the talk in the thread and put on gamecast, and it has not been pretty since. This is why I don't watch this shit anymore.

Refs were calling a lot of fouls for a bit there..
Pretty much over unless WSU stops converting free throws. |

Are you really being serious? There are a lot of posts in that thread you linked talk about how well Syracuse played. A lot of the posts are just about Georgetown's prospects for the future. Its a Georgetown board. Really, really petty stuff right here. |

i enjoy schandenfreude as much as the next guy but cuse fans have no room to talk. go to an opposing teams sbnation blog after a cuse win and it's filled with asshats gloating.
i'd put our internet contingent up there with kentucky fans for doucheyness Last edited by NorvTurnerOverdrive : 03-30-2013 at 10:02 PM. |

I don't think I have ever thought about giving up watching basketball just because say the Dolphins did better than the Bills or the Hoyas did better than the 'Cuse. Cracks me up comparing JTIII to Jimmy B lol |

People will pick anything, you know that. Hell, there's even 1 or 2 Americans that play fantasy EPL, or so I've heard (although that sounds more like something from The Onion to me) A math wiz could work it out though, I was like number 6,200 in the contest at that point.

Perhaps the B1G gets one in final four after all. Michigan should be able to do a much better job on offenee than Marquette or indiana did against Syracuse.

Michigan is at least built to handle a zone defense. Not saying they win, but it is a nice match up for them if it happens.

Louisville defender leapt to block a shot, landed awkwardly and his leg broke in two places all right in front of the Louisville bench. Teammates on the floor and the bench fell to the ground weeping and in shock. Hopefully, CBS and other networks do not show the injury again.

A sportswriter friend of mine on FB described it as "Something I will never be able to un-see"

Yep, the leg basically folded at the shin like you would expect the knee to do. Really gruesome looking on the 2nd/3rd/4th replays.
I didn't get to see the earlier game today, but this one has been much more aesthetically pleasing that what transpired yesterday. |
