WW CXLIX SPAWN IV - GAME OVER (Post 3845)

We had two yesterday pining our spawn-dar and BK said the ship lifting off was the first action last night, no spawn after lift off, so it seems like one left to me

There should not be more than one left. There were two according to our scanner when we lifted off, no new spawn are planted after lift off, and we just killed one.

Has no powers but has a chance to mutate into one of the Spawn below that increases over time.

So do we think britrock was an original that had really bad die rolls for a number of nights or was he mutated?

Why did they have a double kill of Chief and Saldana 2 nights ago. And a double kill AND ship damage ability last night. Granted this is rhetorical as there is no way for us to asnswer that

I was replaying specifically to last night in your post, it couldn't have been spawn

there's no such thing as "couldn't have" as we don't know all the spawn rules and roles not listed.

And yeah I understand that you don't think it was spawn that damaged the ship last night. So if not spawn, what do you think it was?

And my other question is do you think the main damage down to all the buildings while we were on the planet was also not the sapwn that did it?

And with that order from JAG the colony on Spawn Planet is no more. The survivors had been on the planet long enough that they had forgotten just how rough the atmosphere could be. In fact it seems rougher than you remember it. Sure enough when the ship launches into space there are numerous alarms going off. Lift-off has damaged the ship. With the exception of Julio, seen lurking around the Crews Quarters, and britrock in the Science Lab, the crew plans on getting a good night’s sleep, as least where they can find a bed, and addressing the problems in the morning.

I am surprised that he was unevolved spawn though. We were on Day 7, so its hard to believe he went all game without gaining any ability.

He certainly didn't seem like a likely convert, but since the spawn attack was made night 4, they may have submitted that before I did my analysis that night and before Brit had some suspicion thrown his way.

As best I can tell, the only other possible starting spawn would be Abe and Darth (and me? Someone said I was scanned, but im not sure).

It's tough to know if we should start looking at them or look for who we think was the convert. I'm not really sure where to go for the last wolf at this point.

I think Abe can't be the convert because I dont think he would have been unaware spawn at that point, but considering we dont have a known unaware spawn, I wouldnt be surprised if there was one.

There are only two explanations I could think of for Britrock to be the convert:

1. They wanted to pick a scientist because they had good cover for being exhausted at night and could more easily fake research than other tasks.

2. Maybe he wasn't the target of the spawnling attack and got converted when doing work D5 (this is more of a long shot for me because I can the spawn teamed up for their attack meaning they should have had great odds to win).

Jag he also wasn't mentioned as a target. Maybe they were worried. Still, I still think there were better roles out there.

And really I was feeling minor wolfy vibes from him early on in the game especially with his defensive "make it to day 5 " post.

Chubby changes some settings on the Spawn Detector and sets it pointing at CrimsonFox and JAG. The machine gives no negative indication.

Chubby is obviously clear, Danny and I have good votes on Britrock the past two days. If LSG was Spawn, I would've thought they'd have killed me by now.

Jag - I put the order in right after I got bk's pm. No need to wait, we have 1 spawn left and that won't change. I stayed up last night to try and fight off an attack if one came. It didn't. Does abe scan still hold? If so, that clears all the exhusted people

Regular Spawn attacks don't make people exhausted, so that wasn't a good measure to figure out who was Spawn.

I wanted to scan jag as stated before, you were last exhusted not cleared. DV is todays vote regardless, I wanted additional clears in case we were wrong. As jag said, if lsg were spawn they'd have offed jag by now as well

I don't think this is the same thing though. In this case there are 3 people not exhausted and 3 beds. In that case There were 8 people not exhausted and 9 beds.

of course it should. Jag ordered him to scan abe. Shiggles revealed that abe was clean before he died. That night there were 2 deaths so they couldn't have made a new spawn. Correct?

As far as I can see, last spawn has to be in those 3 and I was told a bed was not available meaning a spawn claimed it (hence no access for me) and still attacked.

I asked to stay up anyways so I didn't care about no bed
