At least it's not in Asia this year. It sucked when there were two good games on the same day, one at 2:30 AM and another at 7:30 AM.

USA has to win the bid to host 2022 World Cup or else it will be in Japan or Australia and I'll have to go through that again.

The Germans are really playing the game the way it's supposed to be played. Physical but not dirty, they don't dive or fake injury, they play as a team and work hard for each other.... really great to watch.

For my money Schweinsteiger is by far the most complete player in the world right now. There's not an area of his game that is lacking. He's what Gerrard was 3/4 years ago, a true box to box midfielder.

I would still like the Dutch to win a WC but I'm rooting for the Germans now as well. If they both make the final I think that would be a great game.
