Good game, all. I'm sorry I was not of more use, but hopefully the attacks on me will help tell a story that will be beneficial. Good luck, heroes. |

Interesting, late attacks on Storm but from a couple of people who are relatively higher in my esteem.

Storm, I'm not sure how much of a story the attacks will tell if you're not a villain.

worst case scenario here guys storm is one of the 12. and then we still are not necessarily doing a bad thing mathematically. i feel like we're kinda in a "whittle down the # of unknowns and play percentages" phase of the game.

(ooc) Tyrith, I don't think there's any doubt about that. In fact, everyone seems to figure we've probably got three people who could be killed and the cap will keep one alive. (/ooc)

X, I haven't counted the number of the Twelve remaining yet, but I think we're close to the point where we CANNOT afford to daykill them.

right. and hopefully we don't. if we do though, we just need to start really homing in on the unknowns and taking them out, regardless of what they say. because that is where we will find evil and regain our numerical edge. and doesn't evil have to kill ALL of the 12? |

OOC: I've known since Saturday night...which made the game kind of...uninteresting for a while....I was PMing WVU as well and he was keeping quiet for obvious reasons.
He was my best friend...and it hurts to lose him. His family treats me like family. I only get sad when I talk to those that really knew him, so next week is really going to be hard on me. William Barrett Kerchee was 32 and was hit into a tree Saturday morning (Friday night here) in Gaeta, Italy. The local woman who hit him left the scene, but later turned herself in.

There's a trick to that.
Remember, he indicated he was going to Wolvie. In fact, I believed that is who he went to and died. Then I noticed the Captain part of my PM when rehashing it with X. I thought it might be an excellent opp to nail anyone who went after wolvie, but you're the only one to make that connection. DD

(Wolverine) Since I'm not dead, I can only assume that I'm an oddball 8 and not one of the 12. I've taken down one of their own with my special move and no retaliation. I pretty much telegraphed my intentions before I night-killed Doom. The only outward proof I have of not being evil is my killing of Doom. The description of the death was pretty much a dead give-away if I hadn't claimed it. All I can do to prove my alignment is to die and I've already volunteered for that assignment but nobody seems to be taking me up on it.

I mentioned when I found out I had a personal problem, and that I was hurting. I didn't go into much detail except with a few friends and hoops. I didn't want it to impact my game or yours, but I feel comfortable sharing now that my time is almost up.
I fully intended to try and finish the game. Hoops asked me that weekend if I wanted a replacement, but I wanted something to take my mind off of it. Thank you all for helping in that regard. Thank you all for the prayers and kind words. I only wish you had the pleasure of meeting him. Alright. I can't do this.

Day 6 results
Will this be the day that the heroes finally corral a member of Apocalypse's forces? Early results say no, as there is much more debate than fighting - it is turning into one of those character development issues that thrill/annoy many readers.
It is Venom who gets the action started, emerging behind Magneto and landing a vicious blow, knocking him to the ground. That is followed up by a well-placed karate chop from Mandarin, who seems wary of using his rings on this particular mutant. A scramble emerges, with the heroes largely divided on whether to attack Storm or Magneto, both of whom were weakened from last night and largely spent coming into the day. Wolverine and Captain Britain take the attack to Storm, with Britain landing the most serious blow - a wicked right cross to the chin of Ororo Munroe that staggers the weather goddess. She gathers her remaining might, and summons a crackling bolt of electricity that delivers a deadly impact into Professor X! Although not as impressive as last night's display, this was certainly more effective. The Hulk, incoherent as always, is yammering about Banner as he unleashes a mighty attack on Magneto. Yesterday Magneto was able to summon reserves to fight on, but even he cannot take this kind of a pounding. The Hulk leaves him battered and bloody, as he bleeds out onto the ground. Here lies Magneto. R.I.P. The remaining heroes turn their efforts back on Storm. The attacks are not powerful, but they are united and many show the cohesion learned over the past week. Storm is unable to handle the battery of physical, mental, and energy-based attacks, and she lets out a shriek as she falls to the ground, dead. Although many could take credit for this, it is agreed that Captain Britain was the one who claimed her life. What of Charles Xavier? For an old man, he seems incredibly resilient. And incredibly charred, but still alive. There is no sign of Apocalypse after this struggle. Could this be a sign that your struggles have finally netted a positive outcome? Unfortunately, that is not the case. All you have "gained" is two more dead heroes, although they are not part of Apocalypse's master plan. Night 6 has begun. |

My short list goes from 6 to 4. That makes life really interesting. Really interesting.
By the way, I won't be interrogating anyone, as during my turnover I don't intend to turn over an interrogation midway.

And you know the best part? The best part is, let's just say I'm wrong. I Am Wrong about...say blade. He's a bad guy and because of that he knew that ntn went after LSG. He outs it before ntn and then looks good. He lies to me about being good and I believe him. Let's just say that.
There's still 4 others on my short list and 2 baddies left after that.

yes. take DD's last "trust" list...subract out Storm and Magneto (sorry guys). who does that leave us with down below as uncleared...Mathemanic and Silver Surfer? It's about playing the #'s at this point guys. I'm not sure if I'll survive the night or not, but if not you'll at least know all I know. and we for-sure have evil somewhere that is "trusted." We all know that now. But let's not turn on ourselves first hmm? Let's keep focused, eliminate the "unvouched-for" or vouch for them, and THEN we turn on ourselves. unless someone screws up |

i differ from ardent in that i think that all 3 of our evil players COULD be in green, but that is assuming that we don't trust ardent at all. if we do trust ardent + myself then that leaves the # who could be evil in green at 3. and of those three i would have a hard time believing that ALL were evil and managed to work their way into trust. the much higher percentage play is to go after the unvounched-for first. at least unless they can make themselves trusted...
