I can't answer the second part of that question JAG, but I was told it does take an action to use.

WOW, 2000 XP! I had to read my PM three times because I originally thought I was fighting a floating ball with a single giant testicle. Turns out it was a tentacle. Speaking of which, I have found a magical figurine AND a magic tentacle. I have no cash so I'll wait to get them ID'ed.

Still have 5 days of rations for sale.

From my current room, I can go all four directions including deeper into the dungeon. I believe I will pass on that for the time being. I will keep working towards the side as nobody seems to have been over this way.

As far as I can tell we both are going to have to go the same way at this point. So it looks like in the next room atleast we can kill things together.

I killed some angry bees, but they only gave 1000 xp and dropped nothing.

PB, this is a whip that has some kick to it. In fact, I'd say you're likely to deal out a lot more damage with this puppy than with others, probably more than those who think their whips are the best.
