Anyone want a +2 whip? It's for sale. Once I get the dagger back from Pass, I will sell a +1 gladius as well probably.

I'm down. I'll be there in a jiffy pop. Or in like an hour or two.

Hey guys, need some advice. I currently have a +1 Gladius which hits for a maximum of 7 it looks like. I found a magical dagger that hits like a longsword. I'm a bit naive when it comes to these weapons but am I correct in assuming that the longsword is likely better?
I asked Abe but I realize I may have put him in an awkward situation by asking his advice on this. |

I'm guessing the long sword is better.

PB, remember that it hits like a slightly magical longsword. Also, look at the cost. I believe you are correct in assuming that the longsword is likely better. |

I was asked this question earlier today.
Setting aside Warriors, the weapon you start with doesn't mean anything. A cleric that starts with a mace that later switches to a flail or a staff or a club or a warhammer doesn't suffer anything, nor are they any better with that mace. They can switch freely and easily. Now, Warriors have a weapon of specialization that they are better with, but there are still no minuses to hopping elsewhere.

I still need the ring at this point. I can give you the full 200gp though (and remember I'm the guy who sold you the wand of paralyzation for a song). I'll also keep giving you first crack at any cool wands I happen upon so long as you keep me in mind for cleric-type stuff. Black Market JAG gives chesapeake 200gp chesapeake gives JAG flail +2 |

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN.
THE CONDITIONS FOR THE ORB OF INSIGHT HAVE BEEN MET THE ORB OF INSIGHT HAS RISEN AND WILL GRANT EVERY PLAYER IN THE GAME ONE WISH For tonight, and through Day 12, you may ask one simple rules based question of the DM and you will receive an answer. In order to ask your questions, you must send me a pm entitled "Orb of Insight". Don't add it to your usual actions. This can be about virtually any aspect of the game, and can give you a chance to look under the hood. Exactly how much damage does your weapon do? What are the exact + on a special magic item? What are the benefits and negatives of Go Berzerk? What are the benefits of Weapon Specialization? How much damage does the Ring, "Ram" deal or a Dart of Wounding? How much XP is needed for me to level up? Who had the most XP? What Prestige Parts are needed to collect the item for my class? How many rooms are in the dungeon? What is the technical name for this room? What is the exact chance for a Dvergr to find a secret door? Or me to disarm a trap? You can also use it as a free ID. What exactly does this unidentified item do? You cannot ask multiple questions. What are the chance I can succeed for each of my scout skills? That won't get answered. Show me the XP chart for my class wont get answered. You cannot ask predicative questions. "Can I go to level 3?" "Will it be easy for me if I go forward?" You cannot ask: How many HP does the monster I just killed have? What is in this chest I found? These are not game rules and may be preditative. You also may NOT collaborate on your questions. You cannot say what you are asking before you ask it, and you may not collaborate with any fellowship of which you may be a part. After you recieve your answer, you may share it, lie about it, or hold it. The Orb of Insight is tricky, and you may or may not receive the information right away. Different people may get it at different times. Good luck!

WOOT, WOOT, wife is in labor. I'll be around though. Pass, you asked about the +2 whip: 150. I think it goes for 400 if I read right (sorry, quick read over) so 150 should be cool.
