Yep, plenty of high level action down there - just not sure if you are looking for that kind of action.

Anyone can participate in any fort battle. Just travel to the fort and you can select whether to attack or defend. You can see upcoming fort battles by going to the Fort Overview tab on the right of your screen. |

I'm working on finishing the town construction for El Dolado. If anyone wants to help, they are welcome. We finally got a good fort-battle gun, but it is level 73 minimum.
Once we finish Dolado, I'd still be up for starting a third town just for the purpose of having more shopping choices...though someone would have to volunteer to be a member of that town and respond to shopping invites. |

I just got dueled by El Torpedo...a worker from Angry Pants. I should send him a thank you note since he gave me 108 experience and $493.

Just hit Level 46, then did part one of Kate's Ring quest to get 600 more XP and 1200 bucks. A good day at the office.
Can someone send me an invite to Troutsville? I need to pick up the Fancy Shoes so I can start doing Prison Guarding for two quests I have to do. |

Just a heads up, a few minor housekeeping rule changes, nothing earthshaking that I see though. Figured I'd mention it though.

3305 from Painful Gulch just hit me. I let their town founder know that any attacks on their workers are in retribution for this hit. Feel free to take some vengeance guys. I'll send a note to our allies as well in case they want to take a few shots.

How long a ride is it to Painful Gulch?

It was either 4 or 4 1/2 hours from El Dolado.

I've got someone names saimonk who keeps dueling (and winning) against me.
It's a little annoying.

Assuming you're both currently wearing your usual combat gear, she shouldn't be beating you consistently unless she's incredibly loaded on her skills. Are you remembering to change up your dodge & shooting patterns after dueling? If so, have you gotten predictable enough that she's picked up on your changes?

I haven't typically worn my dueling gear....I've been doing quest type stuff instead...but the duel gear is definitely coming out for an attempt at revenge.

He's got his dueling stats on his bio...something like 78-8. Makes sense if he is picking on workers. I'd love to see some of our guys messing up his records. He seems to like headshots when he is attacking.

In order to use the dueling weapons, if it has a level requirement of 50, does your actual level or dueling level have to be 50 or greater?

Dola.
I'm rather embarrassed to say that I went to Painful Gulch last night, looking for some retaliation, and lost to a damn worker. Granted, it was obviously a worker with a dueler build, but still. Note to self...stay the hell away from people with Strength builds...my build is no good against them. Waste of an evening.

Just a note, I'm off doing some shopping so if there are any town related issues that need tending (re: Fort battle), please let me know. Not sure how long my Mexican set shopping will take but I figure I'll be wandering a majority of the weekend given that I'll have spotty internet access times. Just want to make sure I'm there to help if we need to do any fighting.

Can I get an invite back to Troutsville. I didn't realize they had corrosive acid there and I need that as I continue on with that set. |

If any dueler finds themselves in the vicinity of "blackgunn" from The Shores of Avalon, feel free to administer an asswipping to him. A 399-102 loss wasn't a whole lot of fun for me, nor was the $48 loss.

Nice dueling day so far, 6-0 including that 770 above and I just beat Dick Van Dangle and hit him for 550 damage. Should I wait here and hit him to passing out here since he has attacked out workers?

I'll let you know if I get the KO, if not, you can get it, I hit him for 550 first time, we'll see if I can hit him for enough this time. He is a ranged soldier, so I am guessing I will be able to take down the rest of his HP.

I'm in the hotel for the next three hours, so I probably won't duel any more until the morning.

Got a in-game message today, would appreciate some FOFC'er feedback before I reply (if another founder hasn't handled this already).
Quote:
My initial reaction is something along the lines of "not a problem if you need a few days to recover from your journey" sort of thing. Along with "pretty much normal rules apply including, of course, no attacking other peoples workers". I'm not much on acting unilaterally in the game though, everybody here has contributed too much to our relative success not to get some input. So, thoughts? ( I just don't want to leave the guy hanging too long)

Is it worth a quick validation with one of the folks over at the La Vie towns to validate that this was a member in good standing?
I'm just not sure why he would not stay in their own towns - am I missing something here? "stuck in the north at a CA town", "looking to come closer to home"? Are they out of town spots for their long-time members? My worry is that this might be someone that they booted who knows that we had a good relationship with that town and is looking to create trouble. But that is probably just paranoia. |

I'm kind of sitting on this one for now I think, hoopsguy raises a good point & I think someone who has a relationship with LaVie's leadership (which definitely ain't me) ought to have a short chat with them about the attack on CU Tiger as well.
