Top-ranked guy still around is Babbitt, who might go here.

I'm betting Bulls take a flyer on one of the raw bigs, Whiteside/Alabi/Motiejunas.

D'oh, I was close... Seraphin to the Bulls. I've actually seen him play a couple of times and he never stood out, but it's hard to tell with young guys in European ball.

If the Bulls get rid of Deng as baldy just suggested, wouldn't they basically be an empty-cupboard with Rose and that's it?
And don't give me this Joakim Noah bullshit. Thunder gonna be good with Aldrich to give them the size and interior defense. Great stuff.

Did Thunder trade their pick for Aldrich, or are they really about to get yet another talented young guy?

If Thunder keep this pick, surely they go foreign or draft for someone else.

Hmm. Bledsoe. Early for him, and I guess they are either trading him or Maynor.

I guess it's possible that after all the chips have fallen, Deng's contract might move to a desperate team who missed out. However, I don't think it will be until free agent musical chairs are done and then what's the point.

Avery Bradley hmm? Instead of a big man? Interesting.
I hope the C's can keep lil-Nate, that'd be awesome. I don't see it happening financially though. Although if 'Sheed does indeed retire it could happen maybe? Also, if Doc Rivers leaves the C's are going to be in trouble, with the in-house replacement Tom Thibedeau gone off to the Bulls. |

Spurs would have been perfect for him, but they grab James Anderson. A solid pick. James would be the best player left, Surely won't make it past Oklahoma City here, unless they go Euro or project bigman.

OKC's got a nice GM don't they? I mean, I love ours in Houston, but he seems to do a great job there, too. It's not just all Durant- Presti seems to do a good job shuffling the roster to maximize value

Surprised that no one has grabbed Whiteside or Alabi yet. I don't really rate either of them, but usually someone has taken a flyer on guys like this by the mid-teens.

Hawks now have a Jordan and Jamal Crawford. Jordan Crawford is a pretty nice pick this low in the round too.

James traded to Nets.
Daniel Orton. Sheesh. There's one guy who did not earn a 1st round pick.

I think the fact that there have been a number of undersized PFs going in the late 1st/2nd round in the past couple of years that have turned out to be productive players might have influenced this pick.

I like the first 3 picks of the 2nd round better than the last 3 of the 1st.

Why would any free agent want to go to New York and deal with a bunch of douchebags like all the Knicks fans in attendance??

Whoa - so if Miami clears off Beasley they could get Wade + 2 other max-contract FA's??
That'd be impressive. |

Noah is one of the better centers in the game. And his most valuable asset may be that he doesn't give a crap about scoring. He just wants to win and hit the boards and play defense all night. He's a perfect guy to have inside if you're surrounding him with scorers.
The cupboard is relatively bare, but the goal would be to bring in two marquee players. Lebron/Bosh, Lebron/Johnson, Lebron/Boozer, Lebron/Nowitzki, Lebron/Lee, etc. Then fill out the rest with some nice role players like J.J. Reddick or Mike Miller who can bang down some 3's. It becomes a disaster though if they strike out this offseason, so if they move Deng, I have to believe they know something we don't. But Deng has a bad contract and really didn't fit in well with Rose's style. I would have rather seen us trade Deng than Hinrich. |

With what the Bulls can bring in they need grit guys more than scorers.

That would be a disaster of epic proportions. I know that the NBA is a league where having a superstar increases your chances of winning the title. However 3 superstars and no body else is asking for trouble with a supporting cast full of bums. The ideal situation for Miami would be to get two max contract guys and used the rest of the money to make sure the top 8 in the rotation are versatile and rock solid. A combination of Bosh, Wade and two tier 3 players would give Miami an outstanding starting lineup. C - Tier 3 PF - Bosh - Tier 2 SF - Tier 2 SG - Wade -Tier 1 PG - Tier 2

I just wanted to add that the wolves are more pathetic than the Knicks. They completely fuck their draft every year.
This year they feel the best way to rebuild is through the 2nd round. This team is going to be bad for the next 10 years with this idiot running the draft. They had enough picks to move up and get Evan Turner but instead they trade down for more 2nd round picks and draft guys that will never sniff the NBA. The good news is they now own the rights to every shitty foreign player that had hopes of playing in the NBA within the next 10 years. Last edited by jbergey22 : 06-25-2010 at 12:04 AM. |

it would have taken like 6 lottery firsts to move up for Turner. This isn't the NFL.

They could have packaged the 4th, 16th and/or 23rd to move up 2 spots. Twolves felt it was more important to keep them 2 picks so they could trade them for more crappy foreign players. Last edited by jbergey22 : 06-25-2010 at 12:08 AM. |

The only way the sixers were moving down was if someone would take Brand's contract and given them a pick in the top 5. They loved Turner and weren't sold on Favors, Cousins or anyone else they could have taken at 4. |
