wow...i am stunned that people are willing to just blindly follow hoops into making himself the seer....the same people that are "believeing" hoops were, in the last game, ready to lynch him 4 or 5 days in because he was leading everyone around by the nose

as far as the lynch vote goes, dubb is so erratic on day one it is hard to say if he is full of it, meanwhile the i am the cultist thing from backwards squirrel has been bugging me all day

i should be back in time for the deadline should anything need changing.

believe CR as seer
believe PB as BG

I am still reticent to vote for anyone for my belief. One thing to note though so it doesn't sneak up on us later. be wary of believing anyone as Vanilla villager. Iam sure you all got that already. but if a wolf got that role we cant vote him off for a while.

Cultist: Can either become a vanilla villager (a distant second choice?), or find out the identity of all wolves and remain the cultist (i.e. wins with wolves, will be converted). As far as I can tell, it's hard to see why the cultist would choose to convert to being a villager, given the choices available.

Wolf: No real benefit: 1) finds out the identity of a wolf, but has PM rights with the other wolves already, so will know all of the wolves already. 2) wins with the wolves - was going to win with the wolves anyway... 3) conversion if attacked by the wolves - this person is already a wolf! (Of course, a wolf could use this apparent lack of benefit to build trust with the village - would have to sacrifice one of their wolvish colleagues for this to work, though, as the 'believe' will be public, and there would be pressure to reveal the identity of the wolf that's provided with the 'believed' cultist role.)

I was going to vote for lerriuqs before I looked at this more closely - now I'm not so sure...

I'm assuming that if a wolf successfully claims any specific villager role that they gain extra powers. Otherwise, I don't see how they could possibly gain the powers listed on the front page.

Anyways,

Yeah, I think it goes without saying that it would be incredibly stupid to believe anyone as a vanilla villager since it provides no benefit to us and a ton of benefit to the wolves if one of them successfully do it.

I don't know what to make of lerriuqs at this point. It seems that from either side his play was a mistake. The only way it makes any sense to me is that he is actually the cultist, and for now he wants to take our side. Then he would just be getting something unwanted out into the open as quickly as possible.

However, I don't trust that to the extent that I'm going to exclude the 'he made a bad play' option.

I need to get a vote in in case we play softball tonight (gonna be nice and muddy if we do). Alright, I don't really have a reason for this other than day one and I think a third candidate will ultimately help with vote data (see last game). And I am going to do the really weird thing too.

I am still supportive of the BG being the first believed role we use, although I don't really think it's a bad thing to go with a seer so long as the real BG is paying attention.

I actually am somewhat in the camp of being okay with hoops as the seer, but I do think we should have two options at that spot. So I'll throw my weight behind myself (only guy I can trust of course).

As for voting, I don't really like Schmidty's in and out vote (and on another player who had just posted), and I don't really like the candidates currently up, so I'm going to throw this one on Schmidty.

VOTE SCHMIDTY

I am just stopping in between my jobs, so these votes/believes will be unable to change as things go forward. Good luck to the village.

Alright guys, out for the infamous bathtime and then a muddy softball game (and thanks to a surgery and two absences, likely my first ever softball pitching experience, guh!). Be back around 9:30-10:00.

My vote is in and my believes are in and I feel comfortable with them although I would have no trouble with CR either.

VOTE SCHMIDTY FOR LYNCH

Just came in for a minute. Was there any actual reason for a lynch vote on me, such as the fact that I haven't been very helpful in the past few games? Or is it random like my vote for Martin was?

Anyway, I need to get out and finish.
