Not the way I see it I guess. Falcons got a big lead and played differently. If the game had stayed close throughout Id imagine Atlanta would have played differently in the 2nd half.

Two red zone opportunities with no points in the 1st half and a fumble inside the Atlanta 40.

If he fumbled before he was in the end zone, it's not a touchdown. Inside of a certain time limit, only the person who fumbled a ball is allowed to advance it.

I think he broke the plane before the fumble. At that point, if Seattle recovers in the end zone, does it go back to the spot of the fumble or is it an Atlanta touchback? Thought only the runner could advance a fumble at this point, or is that only on fourth down?

If an offensive player other than the original ball carrier fumbles the offense retains possession with the ball being down at the spot of the fumble.

Wow. Only thing that would make this better is a blocked PAT or a Ryan pulling a Flacco.

31 seconds is plenty of time to drive into FG range, unless your coach is John Fox.

Is pulling a Flacco simply being QB when the defense forgets to cover a receiver in the final minute?

Massive choke job by Atlanta's defense. One of the worst defensive performances I've seen in this 2nd half. No one's tackling, no one' hustling to the ball. It's cliché, but the defense really looks like they don't want to play anymore.

Unbelievable finish for the Seahawks and a huge choke job for the Falcons. I wondered why the Falcons didn't try for two when they went up 26-7 and they are paying the price for their idiocy.

Props to the Seahawks here. I wrote above they are a different team on the road and that the only reason this game was close was because of the Falcons, not them. I stand by that statement, but the Seahawks deserve all the praise they get if they finish this off. Wilson was amazing in the second half.

I do not see how the Falcons can keep the same core (coach, QB, etc) if they lose this game. At least the Broncos won't be the biggest gaggers in divisional weekend.

Yeah?

Doesnt change the main point. The Falcons came out in the 2nd half and laid an egg. They were playing at a higher level than Seattle in the 1st half.

No matter how it played out Seattle wasnt going to run "Atlanta out of the building."

Atlanta's defensive choke job followed by a Seattle defensive choke job followed by a failed icing the kicker attempt.
