I think he can duke anything he wants since it doesn't seem to be defendant upon him having the most votes.

I really don't want to do this, but a tie is worse IMO and CR said he will be gone.

Allthough I am 50/50 he will duke to me, which is fine, at least we only lose a vanilla villager

The person with the Milton role can duke once for a lynch vote, no matter what the vote was.

I have to say putting it on Hoops' who isn't here, is low, low low. He was very vocal about his absence and this is what he gets. Talk about picking an easy target.

I have no problem with it.

I am a vanilla villager so if I die no big loss. It would be a bonehead move of epic proportion for CR to duke to me and waste his role.

The meeting begins.

"We must do something."

"We cannot let them take us out one at a time. We must fight back. If we eliminate them first, we win!!!"

"But who, who among us are the Insiders?"

A half hour liong argument ensues. A finger points towards claphamsa. "Him, he must go." "No, wait, what about Abe?"

The argument continues until a third name arises. "hoops!!!" claphamsa says, "it can't be me, I shouldn't even be here."

More accusations and arguments. More paranoia. Lathum reaches for something to use as a weapon, he grabs a fax machine and turns towards hoops. "You, you must be an Insider!"

Before he can react the crowd jumps hoops. A scream is heard. "Noooooo!!!!" The screams become fainter as hoops slumps to the ground. As you search his body all that you find is a rap CD, a note with equations scrawled upon it (you notice a few decimals points out of place) and an ID badge. Hoops was one of the cubicle dwellers just like most of you.

"There will be a company meeting at noon." the intercom comes to life. "Reorganization will be discussed, and initiated."

I'm not surprised.

Despite our spat I have the utmost respect and admiration for CR as a player and duking the vote today wouldn't have been a great play and CR knows that.

I think the wise move tonight is the BG to protect Clap so he can tell us who the seer scanned.

Thoughts?

Either Clap or CR seem like the choices. But yes protecting Clap is likely the smarter move, but it's better if it is kind of up in the air.

Call me crazy, but I'm questioning the validity of CR's reveal a little bit. Unless he's giving the Insiders a big juicy target to go after rather than Clap, I don't see why he'd come out with that unless he intended to use it. Of course, maybe he intended to use it, and the final target wasn't one he chose to protect with his power.

In any event, it strikes me as odd.

That sounds like a pretty good idea, although I don't want us to put too much weight into the claims of Clap and Chief Rum. Not until we have some evidence in their favor.

fake revealing as the Duke makes little sense though.

The real Duke can just switch the vote to you.

I think CR is cleared. There is a duke in the game who we know can duke it regardless of who has votes. If CR was lying, there is no question the real duke uses his power on CR knowing he is lying.

That's a good point, I hadn't thought of that. Although with the last minute workings, the real Duke may have just been not around to do so. However, that would be awfully lucky for Chief if he was a wolf, so I will concur.

Yeah, but most of (15 of 18 I believe) were online for the lynch and CR had no heat on him yet, so there would be no reason to fake the reveal.

So of the people who voted Hoops I think we can give Clap an d CR a pass. That leaves

PerdueBrad

this is a direct quote from PB, could be hiding out in the open

Jackal

voted Hoops in retaliation, was the second vote on Hoops. At the time 2 other people had 2 votes. Seems ok for now

Schmidty

Moved late to Hoops, creating a tie. Plus he moved off his standing day 1 vote of Poli. Never really gave a reason why, just said he saw the vote count, but if thats the case why create a tie at that point?

Lathum

Moved around alot, was defensive early on. Cast the tiebreaking vote, killing a villager. Always seems like he is up to something.
