I think there is 0% chance EF removes our seer from the game just for being absent, and doesn't get a replacement.

The only alternative might be that for some reason our lynch from Day 1 was delayed in effect, but the writeup doesn't seem to support that.

Nice catch Autumn. I wonder if each time the sheriff is removed if we will be able to get a new one.

At the expense of having to waste a day on no-lynching/no-questing...that sounds rather reasonable.

There seems to be an indication in the rules that being MIA can result in you being killed off.

I would think it is natural to have a leniency of one time allowed missing the vote, given how often we see people forget at the start for a day or have some real life issue pop up. So seeing MIA lynches on Day Two seems perfectly natural to me.

Seeing as no one has revealed as nurse, I'll put a pending guard portal vote in for now.

Okay, so question for the group since I'm not as experienced in playing. Is it possible that if we can elect the outlaw as sheriff by accident? I've never played a game where a person can have a 2nd role elected for. Would seem like hte easiest way for the outlaw to guard himself.

putting in my vote above until someone tells me if it's a dumb theory about electing a sheriff. Didn't see anything saying that players can only have one role (since our mayor was elected with a 1st day action).

Is it a consensus that we are guarding the portal? Are we waiting on a nightkill to vote out the next person?

That is a good question. I would assume that would be the case but it would be pretty easy to eventually vote out a baddie who is the sheriff. Eventually he wouldn't be nightkilled and it wouldn't make sense.

I'd honestly prefer the nurse outs themself and we elect them sheriff. HOWEVER, I fear it's too late in the day for it.

That has actually been the going logic, and pretty much the reason we're not chooisng to elect a Sheriff today.

I guess I didn't read it closely enough that we need to specify the role.

Well if its the way someone suggested as a possibility that we'd get a shot at getting a sheriff everyday I'd consider that route.

WWouldn't it be best to do a change towards the end of deadline so we can screw up the wolves a bit? I dunno.

I really wanted someone to out themselves as the nurse, just so I could say "Hellllloooooo Nurse".

That's probably a dumb reason though.

Sorry for the absence - was a busy day at work and I had to go to the gym afterwards and all.

Seems to be the common wisdom to guard the portal, although unfortunately it's going to leave us with not much of a vote history.

The entire town...almost as their was a big green absence... stood on guard duty to protect the previous portal. That blessed beacon of getting you to work. That door to the 'other side' where nothing can hurt you... hopefully.

The portal has been protected you return home for the evening, back to Toonsville. Hoping to find that big green lug before it's too late for him and he gets downsized from his day job.

Nothing special happened during the day... well a few anvils fell, some rocks were crushed ina a quarry, the earth was saved, in trouble and saved again and of course a little rodent showed up to save the day.

Ome odd thing did happen as a roadrunner was speeding down a dusty highway, an anvil that was supposed to fall and miss him could not be found. No one knows if it was misplaced or if someone stole it.

Well, you can think about that tommorrow. You head back to Toonsville for the night....

(to be continued)

The morning comes around and you hear the comforting buzzing of the portal. You may return to The Tube again today!!! Hi Ho, Hi Ho... you know the rest (a story about a young lady living with a bunch of men, hi ho seems like a fitting greeting).

The town gathers and you notice that someone is missing. Where is that roid fueled barbarian? You find him sobbing silently in his house. He was given his walking papers... show cancelled. Without a place on The Tube there is nothing left for him... he fades away slowly.

He is no more.... pause for a moment of silence.... okay... off to work.

You have more choices to make today....

I don't think there was any indication of that. Hopefully it will be like Autumn's Vegas games where the opportunity will come back at some point.
