The Rush of the Waters rises and you move to assist the locals. You bring up a few canoes and supplies from the shoreline, and several go into the water. It’s not a normal temperature, it’s much colder than the rest. It looks like snow melt burst through somewhere and cascaded down the gorge.

Because at least ten of you aided the town, you were able to alleviate any special damage that would have been worse. The flood subsumes after a few hours and drains from the valley and leaves you back at your normal water level.

Secret Mission One was successful.

Day One has ended. Night One has begun and will end at 1:00 am EST.

I will not accept Night Actions from the 11 that worked on the flood.

I also might have problems getting on, as I'll be waking up right before heading to work and it's tough to get on there sometimes. Hoping I can make it on at around 1 PM and that might be the only time I can do anything.

Many of you sleep the night away with the exhaustion of the work on the flood keeping you from thinking or arising early. The rest are similarly undisturbed by the night. Dawn chases away the spectre of night and harkens to a new beginning.

Night One has Ended.

Day Two has begun

Normally the Quest Action is due at 1 pm and we are back on our normal schedule. Today, you may begin lynching.

However, today, I will be away for an extended period of time beginning at 12:30 EST and ending at roughly 3:45-4:00. Thus, I will be unable to run the results for a while. Rather than wait until that time., instead I am moving up the deadline one full hour to Noon EST. To compensate, I will give you that Quest Action now.

When I first read that, I thought we had to fill all the spots by deadline to get any sort of result. But looking again, we might be able to do it in parts, and have to finish it the next day... I'm still going to let detectives and antiquarians handle that snooping around and keep to the hope that security detail is my best shot to get to unload on something with this Sharps rifle.
