The 2035 NFL Playoffs
AFC: 1. 15-1 KC 2. 11-5 Indy 3. 9-7 Miami 4. 7-9 Pitt 5. 10-6 Tenn 6. 10-6 Denver Yes that’s right, we have a 7-9 team from the AFC North. Not a big year for the AFC, oher than us. The NFC features 5 ten-win squads and 1 9-6-1 as a WC. Wild Card Weekend: Tenn heads to Pitt and wins 24-21 Denver can’t manage in Miami, 13-30 Dallas breaks up the band in San Francisco, 34-27 Washington heads to Motown and takes down the Lions 34-31 Some close scores there for the most part Week 2 Our only injury is Cook. Holbert is back We host the Titans We win 30-28 in a close one. MOM is Tamm, 28 of 38, 317, and 1:1, hitting Gorham for as core. Konrad was 22 of 96 and 2 TDs. No picks or FF, just 1 sacks, and 4 KRB by Sandy. Quiet day. But we won, with no major injuries. Dallas heads to Carolina and wins 43-6 Miami heads to Indy and drops the Colts 30-17 New York stands against the Skins 17-7 Conference Week – We smash the Dolphins 34-7. Mom is tamm, 17 of 27, 256 and 3:0. He was injured early, and QB Gardner finished with 9 of 10, 84 and 1:0. We hit TE Llue for 2 TD, Gorham for 1, and TE Perry for another. Konrad was 24 for 107 and 1 TD. No picks. FF and Rec by rookie Mulinaro, and 3 sacks by Flemming, 4 KRb by Byrne, and 3 by Sandy Cowboys crush Giants 37-14 We have two injuries of note, beyond Cook. K Fields is out RB Garrison is questionable I keep Garrison, IR Fields, and sign ufa K Louis Rusieczky to my team to kick the ball Are you ready for the Super Bowl?

Your #1 Seed AFC Champion 15-1 Kansas City Chiefs Vs Your #5 Seed NFC Champion 10-6 Dallas Cowboys Now the boys are no joke. They dominated their games. 43-6? 37-14? On the road? They did well to get here, don’t ignore them. We are only favored by 4. We win 34-31 in OT> MOM is Tamm who would not be denied. 28 of 50, 387, 3:1, and he got a ground TD too. Konrad was 18 for 100. WR Holbert? 8 for 129 yards. Gorham? 6 for 100 and 1 TD. WR Frederick and TE Perry with scores. Picks by DT Newhart and CB Moshetti. FF by Benton and Jacobs. K Rusieczky was 2/2 and 4/4 PAT and scored a game winning kick in OT. Not a bad day for a street FA starting in his first game for us in the biggest game of his life. Mulinaro led the team in tackles and had 1 sacks too. 5 KRB by Guzy, 3 by Cooper and Sandmeyer. That’s my 3rd Super Bowl with the Chiefs!

Where was Allen? Well, everyone up there deserved to be, unquestionably, save for, maybe, Tamm. He led the league in one good stat you’ll see (QB Rating by a bunch) and just barely another (TD). Konrad, Gorham, Guzy, Fleming, Konrad, Mulinaro, Sandy – all unquestionable. But Allen? Where is the guy who led all safeties, every single one, with 6 picks. The next were 2 safeties with 5, and the rest had 4 or fewer picks. How does a 6-pick guy who leads the league in picks at his position all by himself not make the All Pro list?

Again, here is the league, sorted by QB Rating. He was 5th in passing yards, led my TDs by 1 over two others, and had a better QB rating. The 34:5 ratio is intimidatingly good. We have entered the Era of the Tamm Receiving! Code:
Gorham was 2nd in the league in both rec yards and rec TDs. When I think that Lluellyn had a good season, here are the real stats. He was 17th among TEs for REC Yards. Just 17th. Now he is the 7th best TE by current ability and 8th by future. So I’d like to see more from him too. Is it the busy WR Corps keeping him down? Part of it may be the low # of targets. He had fewer target target # than most other, despite boring on the field a lot. Rushing? Code:
League Stats again are displayed, and he was 2nd in rush yards, tied with 2 others for most rush scores, and such Mayes – 37 PR, 9.2 avg; 26 KR, 24.3 avg K Fields – 22 of 37 KG, long of 56, and 61/63 PAT P Grandon – 72 punts, 48.7 avg, 26 in 20 Defense = Code:
One of the good things I like about Buddy Mulinaro is that he;s good already. Faster than Shea or Jacobs in embracing his role. I can, later, slide him to Flemming’s spot if Flemming has to retire. Flemming is 29, but for now, is still on top of the league and his game after his 7th year. He led my team in sacks with 11, and we had a down sack year. Jacobs’ 8 was fine, and Benton did nothing, I’m glad I didn’t retain him longer. I feel like my older Benton and Cobb need to head on out of here. Coverage Code:

Sandy led the league in KRB, and Guzy was 2nd heading into the final week but had a weak blocking day and finished 4th in KRB. Both had very strong seasons. Kelley was good too, Coop was fine, with just 2 sacks allowed and 21 KRB, and then Byrne was okay in 11 games, but not special or anything.

Offensive Player of the Year: QB Tamm. Duh, Dude gets NFL Off Player of the Year, Dude gets my own team award too. Unless he;s been like DPOTY For 7 years in a row. Def. Player of the Year: FS Chandler Allen. Come on now. Dude was better than my All Pros on Defense Special Teams Player of the Year: P Grandon – He was 2nd in the league in punt average, but his low punt #, vs the others, probably kept him from All Pros. But he was still strong. Rookie of the Year: LB Buddy Mulinaro – Defensive Rookie of the Year? That’s studly awesome! Good job Buddy. Good jorb. Heart Award: S Franz – I was initially leaning towards Franz for special teams play this year with fumbles recoveries and that score, but Grandon earned his spot, and that’s good heart anyway, right? Franz is not my dime or nickel back, so he only plays occasionally, and yet, 2 picks, both returned for scores. So tht’s three INT and FUM TDs this year, one on special teams, and 2 on D. Good stuff Franz! We used to have a powerful slate of Defense, and weaker Offense, and you could tell come Awards season. But you can tell we swapped over this year. We had just 1 Defense All Pro with Flemming, but 5 All Pros for my Offense, including three major skills positions and two O Line. So I am starting to get a little bored of the Chiefs. I got them to a strong place quickly. We just had NFL MVP, and both Off and Def Players of the year, and Def Rookie of the Year. I have studs lined up and down the draft, and quality players at multiple places, not just the 1st round. 2.32 with Tamm to 7.31 with Danieles and more. One good example of this is Enrique Banks, who I picked up late 5th. If you’ll recall, that year I showed you the top players on the board of the draft at 1.31. And you could see Banks was one of the best players on the chart. Now he’s nothing major. He’s not Roberson or Cobb, he’s just a solid player. He never grew like I hoped, but he was there.
Anyways, I feel like I got to the point where the Chiefs are on autopilot. So let’s do something else. I want to make this tougher. Should I switch to another team? Do I want to move to San Diego? The losingest team of the last 20 years, and in the same division as these Chiefs? Right now, I doubt I move my team to a Otto Graham candidate, because we keep missing on the UFA Graham options. Plus, before we had a stud D. But now it’s in transition. This year, the Chiefs, despite not having a whole lot of needs, is picking 1.7. And 1.32 as well. Hit on those both and we are just nasty. Make that 1.7 a top flight player at a major position and we are just nasty. Good news about the Chargers? They were the worst team last year and have the 1.1 pick. But, otherwise, they are sucking. Where is Tamm right now? He is the 13th best QB in the league by current rating. We grabbed him at the 2.32 spot, outside of the top 50. How many other of the top QBs in the league are from lower? All of the QBs better than Tamm were 1st rounders in the top 5 picks, save for 1 taken at 1.21. Then 2 at 1.2, and then a 2nd.18 next, and then 5.21 (Conrad Rhodes, taken by us), and then all 1. And first five for the rest. So of the top twenty five Qbs in the league, only 4 were taken outside of the top 6. (I found a pair of 1.6s later) at 1.21, 2.18, 2.32 and 5.21. Now San Diego has a solid 63/63 QB right now it’s the rest of the team that is stuck in suck. They have a good, young CB, OG, LT, and QB. And a not-bad RB. No one else young and not a K in the 60+ range for current or potential. So, Chargers? I could see it. What about helping out the Bears as they reboot in Colorado Springs? The only major question is one of loyalty to Flemming. I would like to see him finish out his career with me. He is the best player I’ve ever had. That’s the only reason I’d stay. But I had him for 7 seasons. Time to move on. I’ve built the Chiefs up into a major force. Up and coming powerhouse offensively, and still defensive talent in a variety of places. Chargers? Or how about a team with the 8th pick instead, who needs a QB badly, and has a depleted roster and the 5th worst record in the Bills. Actually, they aren’t that depleted. Nevermind. 5 70+ players into DE NT, and 3sx LB.6 more in the 60s, including 68 RB, 2x Cbs, and more.

Chargers pre-FA roster, 2036 Code:
The Chargers: We finished last season 2-14. We have a 124-196 record, the worst in the last 20ish years, and as you can see, we don’t have a lot of cap space either. Now, for a time, we’ve actually done well with the last few top picks. 1.12 was OG Chad Bening, 1.4 the year before we had CB Carton Pigg, and then at 1.5 th year before LT McHugh. Before that at 1.11 was the more disappointing RT Fisk, and then 1.3 QB Lofton. All great(ish) players. And then the less valuable OG Cary McWilliams begins the age of draft suckage again. But you can’t just build a team with a few hits in the 1st round. You need to get in there for later picks, especially at the top of the 2nd. We also have serious cap issues. Now QB Lofton is 37 mill this year. That’s a lot of cap, our cap total is 294 this year. DE Wells is out for 37 weeks with a torn patellar tendon. My quick assessment by position: QB good for now RB – fine for now TE – Okay for now WR - Meh. Need one star C – Are you kidding me? Knowing just how many quality Cs you can get in UFA or later in the draft, how do you have this bad of a C? OG Need one starter bad OT Fine P – Yeah K – Good DE – 1 of quality needed badly Dt? We run a 3-4, so we’re okay with the 54/54 guy there. LBs – Are you kidding me? Total renovation needed, much like I did in Cleveland and KC. We have to totally rebuild the LB Corps. CBs – 83 is fine, 56 guy is older. S – We need a star here, anywhere LS too

We pick 26th I hire a new HC who is 11 higher suitability than our current guy Ditto OC My DC is a stud and I don’t touch him I hire Khalif Barnes formerly of the Jags, as my Assistant Coach. There’s no junky person here I want to keep with my franchise tag. One of the reasons I like these Chargers is that they have a solid QB already and someone I can build a major team around as he nears the end of his career, and then hopefully transition to my next Otto Graham, so that’s my goal. I am also going to make this challenge a little harder and I am also adding a layer of faster in-season play. From here on out, I will not set the depth charts of my players. I am just a GM, and will let my coaches do everything they want with depth charts and plays and all of that other stuff. Ready?

The 2036 San Diego Chargers FA Begins
We have a lot of work to do But the first thing I am doing is scoping out the draft Now let me ask you a hypothetical question. Assuming that there was a stud QB on the board at the 1.1 spot...should I take him? Someone who came back great from multiple angles. Should I grab him? What would you do if you had the 14th best QB in the league, but just having hit the 1.1 spot for a 2-14 season? Would you make a play for that QB? Trade down with a QB hungry team? Draft and then trade your veteran in a year or two? What do you do? I don’t think you draft the stud QB. I think you go elsewhere. Here is the best player in the draft, at any position, regardless of need: Interviewed at Underrated, 5 combine scores, all red, DE Zachary Toth. You have to take that sort of talent, right? Now my best DE is injured and my 2nd best is UFA> I can use this guy. Alright, so I’m coming out of this thing with a stud DE. Good. What else? Anyone on my roster I need to re-up? Nope, I have to trim a lot of cap. Where is my money going? QB Lofton – 37 mill CB Pigg – 30 mill LT McHugh – 20 mill CB Bishop – 20 mill FL Scott – 16 mill LB Spencer – 12 mill DE Weber 10 mill LT Brink 9 mill SS Westerfield 7.9 mill RT Fisk, 7.8 mill DT Godfrey, 7.8mill OG Bening, 7.6 mill TE Gaylor, 7 mill QB Kranchick – 6 mill I’m okay with everyone on that list (although several at the top are pretty pricey) save for...CB Bishop (too much for the result) , 31 year old CB starter who last year, started all of our games, had 1 pick and 8 Pasdef, and in his entire career for us, including starting every game of his career save for 3 due to injury, just 2 INTs and 45 PD. Why Bishop? And FL Scott is find in the 50s, but has had just one 1000+ year in his career despite a solid QB throwing to him for us. And Spencer is way too expensive as well for a mid 50s 28 year old LB. I cut DE Weber, too expensive and aging, and LT Brink, my 3rd best OT. SS Westerfield played well last year with 3 INts and 6 picks. Solid. 8 mill for him is fine. Fisk, Godfrey, Bening, they are all fine. I cut QB Kranchick, and TE Gaylor is a bit much as well. In FA I’ll look for cheaper options for some of these folks. I trim Gaylor now, with Sullivan at 51/51 on board already I now have 8 mill in cash under my rookie needs. I sign RFAs – TE Amir Graham, CB Dixon, I cut RB Leroy, who was 4 mill an backup WR Nicky Robbins with 3.5 mill. Oh and C Guthrie as well. Alright, now I have some cap space. I extend: QB Autenrieth by a year RG Chad Bening, 45 mill, 4 years WR George by a year

Week 2 - I make offers to: LS Ed Jackson, a 100 LS guy P Edward Morrison Now, there is one amazing studlike player in FA – 84/84 CB Jorge Odenbach, 6 year vet. Want to send him a crap-ton of cash? I’d rather pay him than my current #2 who sucks. So do I need two great studs at CB? Or should my cap head elsewhere? Now I can cut CB Bishop, save 10 mill this year, and then use that 10 mill to defray the cost of Odenbach. But 12 mill this year and more is not doable with my cap in this condition. Paying megabucks for a QB changes the math of a team. I don’t have the cap agility to make this player, even though dropping from a 31 56/56 to 26 year old 84/84, would normally be worth it all, day, long. But not tonight. I need that cash. I trim CB Bishop, and make an offer to CB Middlehurst, a 55/55 guy for 13 mill over three years. C Darren Sheldon, 2 years, 7 mill, will be leader and make two others happy. I make an offer to DE Benton for 2 years, 8.5 mill. SS Irving Maloney, 2 years, 6.8 mill Let’s advance... Week 3 - CB Odenbach signed for 120 mill over 4 years. I bump my offer for Middlehurst. Week 4 – We bring in DE Benton. CB Middlehurst signs with Miami for more than 1 mill less than we were offering. I make an offer to retain CB Darien Overbeck for 7.24 mill over 2 years I cut DE Sullivan Week 6 – We sing SS Maloney. SS Maloney is amazing. Let me show you the mammoth of a man I am amount to take... 4.54 dash 36 Sole 35 STR 7.10 AGI 10-06 BJump All reds. Compared to all other Des in the draft he is the fastest, 3rd smartest, strongest, most agile (by far, btw) and best BJump. That’s a horse of a stud. He is ready for a close encounter of the sack kind.  Dude is on fire I don’t even care that he’s a 4-3 DE and not a 3-4 one. Dudes that good are very much on their own, you know? Now, if you’ll recall, I dropped my ability to trade picks for picks. So no trading this pick for a bevy of more picks. We’re taking Toth at the top of the draft and moving on. I want to make Toth my Stanton, Horner, Cobb style stud DE who brings in the numbers, the QB drops, and the All Pros. Two of those three made the HOF from my career, while both Cobb and Benton from the Chiefs are still active.

At the 2.1 spot, tjere are a few LBs I like that I scouted. And there is talent elsewhere, but I need LBs so badly, I’m juts taking the best, irregardless of spot, and moving on. I take WILB Cameron Cook.
3.1? MLB Berns is very underrated, and has good combine score,s but lower bars. I suspect a grower. I Draft him too, 4.1? At this point, my roster is so weak, it’s just BAP 4.1 DE Parker Maumalaga (I think I could slide him to DT) Shower? We have no 5th rounder after trades. 6.1 CB Patrick Neavitt – Good bars 7.1 LB Corbin Thaubitauck Early Rookie Lookie – DE Toth, 67/91 DE Maumalaga, 34/73 LB Cook – 41/72 LB Berns – 34/52 LB Thaphituck – 28/52 CB Nevitt – 13/50 And there we are. C+ draft grade. On the Green Page, Toth is 1st and Mau 5th.

Then 6-6, then 7-6, then we rally hard and finish 10-6 We are a wild card The 2036 NFL Playoffs: AFC: 1. 13-3 Jets 2. 12-4 Chiefs 3. 9-7 Colts 4. 8-8 Ravens 5. 10-6 Chargers 6. 9-6-1 Pats Ready? We head to Baltimore to take on the Ravens. We barely edge them 17-16 Atlanta won in Seattle 30-13 Miami was smashed in Baltimore 12-31 San Francisco was smashed too in Washington 13-38 Week 2 – We head to the 13-3 Jets.... And get smashed. Offensive Rookie of the Year: RB Carlton Hamilton That’s it. Hamilton was pretty crappy actually, just no other rookies mattered, and he started for a bunch of games when our starter was down twice with injury. Many Chiefs won awards including RB Mason Garrison, DeAndre Jacobs, FB Sedrick Willis, a rookie with an All Pro award and more. The Flemming Watch Had a down year with just 1.5 sacks, 2 picks, and 5 pasdef

Off. Player of the Year: WR Scott = led league in rec yard, didn’t get All Pro because they are dummies, and had a great season for us. Def. Player of the Year: FS Malney. Led team with 4 picks, and had a lot of good, solid pressure from various places Special Teams Player of the Year: K Fields. Yup, he’s good alright. Rookie of the Year: DE Tuft. Led my team in sacks, almost led the league in Hurries. In Tuft we Trust. Heart Award: RB Hamilton – Won a great award mostly starting for my club, despite his undrafted nature. Hamilton had a solid year, and did it from nowhere, so good job! I’m very surprised by the 10-6 record, an 8 game improvement from last year!

We just hit our 15th year for the stadium here in San Diego. Do I want to renovate? Build a new one?
Our current stadium: Opened in 2022 Retractable Roof. Grass 62700 capacity 14700 Club Seats 184 Luxury Boxes Very Good condition Good Turf and Parking No support for projects locally. We only filled about 60% of the total from last We did have a lack of cash from the last season. Now I could submit a new stadium plan, and then when it gets rejected, we’d be able to move elsewhere. Just like potentially in real life. But I like the Chargers in San Diego and not someplace like Las Vegas or Chicago or San Antonio or something. San Diego in 2037: 3.620 mill 6.0 % Growth 58k average income 19.2% poverty level Very High Entertainment Competition – 92nd percentile High Trend Setting = 72nd 1 team without 250 and 4 within 500 miles. We have the region to ourselves, with the Rams down by LA, and the other two teams as well up north. Now, what are the biggest cities without a franchise? Chicago Riverside Anaheim St. Louis New Brunswick Newark San Jose New Haven Sacramento San Antonio All have at least 2 mill folks. We pick 26th in each round We have 36 players under contract and 60 mill under the cap, 48 mill post-draft I make offers to these RFAs: TE Kerry Peters RB Carlton Hamilton TE McCaskill C Leung C Bell OG Arnold CB Junkin CB Comegys DE Meadows DE Horton LB Cortez And now 47 under contract We are missing starters at: WR Maybe FB OG DT CB LB in places I cut DE Matthew Wells I extend K Fields by 3 years, 18 mill I don’t extend anyone else. They either have lower quality, older, or have question marks over them. Week 2 – The Chiefs cut TE Lluelyn. If I didn’t have TE Perry, I might make a play. Also let go were WR Holbert, RB Riley Konrad, DT Newhart, CB Cook and FS Allen. Cook is the 2nd best FA at CB, a solid, young 61/61 body. My best corner not named Pigg is a 41/41 CB. This is a major upgrade. I make an offer for the Cook for 4 years, 50 mill. By far, Holbert is the best WR in FA< and cheap too. I make an offer for 3 years, 18 mill. I can’t make a play for Allen, but it would be funny if I did. He had 7 picks last year and still, no All Pro for the guy. Now, he’s a pure FS, and I’d be willing to bring in a top flight S all day long, but I like what FS Maloney brought last year. Although Maloney is old. I can’t see him moving to SS ever given his lack of Run Stopping. So Allen is miscast on my team. The 2nd best OG out there is Lucas Lucas, from my old Cleveland dynasty, but he’s 58/58, and 33 years old and just ones a one year deal at this point. I make an offer for memory and ability, for4 mill. 7th year vet WLB Lukas Hanson is a pass rush specialist, and the best LB in FA, and I make hima 4 year 20 mill offer. Huh. I make another offer to a long-time player, DT Damien Alcott, 36 years old, from my Cleveland Dynasty, with 6 All Pros. He’ll be a rotational guy, and not a full time starter, but why not? Ready? Week 3 – Cook signs. I have to up Holbert’s offer to pass other competitors. Week 4 – Holbert signs. DT Newhart heads to LA, Konrad to LA as well. Week 5 – FS Allen heads to Carolina. Week 6 – Our DT Campana moves out to Colorado Springs to join the Bears. TE Lluellyn heads to Atlanta. Week 7 – Lucas Lucas signs with us. Our CB Bohme headst o Green Bay. Week 8 – LB Hanson joins us. Week 9 – All quiet Week 10 – DT Alcott signs with us I look at some rookies. Who do I like? Who may fall to 1.26? The 2037 NFL Amateur Draft
Carolina kicks off the night with a RB, Vince Wooly of Boston College. This appears to be a weak draft. I tried to set myself up to just BAP, and I interviewed players at SS, LB, DT, OG, TE, WR and more that I think might fall, 3rd best, 5th best with cool bars, uncombined players and more. But, again, it feels weak to me. See you at the 26 spot The only stud LB in the draft wound up heading 1.4. Typically, that’s way too early for this level of quality, but not this year. Who do I like still on the board? Anybody fall? C Darius Tate – this guy us not a position of need. But 4 reds, 1 blue, and an absolute stunner of a grade. He looks high, high quality stud. Much like a Sandmeyer style C. Is it worth the upgrade to a Sandy C? Even though C isn’t close to my needs? OGs Cary Wagner or Zach Posey – Both look good here. Either has potential starter quality lovin. Or maybe OT Bucky Lehan. That’s it. Who is the bigger upgrade? Mid-50s OG to Wager/Posey? Or Mid-5os OC to Tate? Here’s a pic. Who do you like best?  I like Wagner blind with the higher endurance, obviously. Wag or Tate? When in doubt, take the better player. Tate it is. Both OGs head off in the early 2nd round.

There isn’t that much talent left on the board to be frank. I grab an OG with good looking bars, see if he lasts. Then the 3rd gest there, and there’s a solid NT Stone available. Stone si slow and stupid, with greens in both, but nice bars. Shower or Bust? I take him Now in the 4th, I hew an odd direction, P Richard Lynn, the best P on the board, and looks like a stud. This is how weak the draft is. Taking a P in the 4th. 5th – 7th, all BAP. 2nd – OG Wade Conley 3rd? NT Stone 4th – Punter Richard Lynn 5th - CB Devin Springer 6th – DE Timothy Eiguren 7th – LB Jamal Glave, CB Dave Vaughn I interviewed Glave, he’s the best LB oin the board, has 2 reds, 2 blues, but he came back very overrated. Here in the 7th? After our win in week 14 puts us up 7-6, DE Amos Benton breaks his leg, a compound leg fracture, out for 50 weeks. I IR him. Will this be the end of his career? We finish 8-8 The 2037 NFL Playoffs – Weekend 1 – Houston hosts and drops Buffao 20-17 Cleveland hosts and envelops Oakland 47-7 Minnesota on the road edges the Eagles 17-16 Saints win on the road 14-7 Week 2 – Cleveland loses in KC 44-19 Houston can’t win in Miami 14-10 Vikings cant stop the Falcons hopes 12-37 Saints head to Detroit and emerge victorious 35-25 Conf Champ – KC beats Miami 30-20 Atlanta beats New Orleans 38-31 Super Bowl – Battle of 14-2 #1 seeds, Atlanta favored by 2. Lofton looked good, but would have been better without a random 5 pick game in the season. 3rd in pass yards, 27/16 TD INT ratio, and such. But he had a down year compared to last. Rush! Code:
Imme was 2nd in the league in both rush yards and rush scores with 1460 and 12. Which are both good, solid statistics to point too and the 4.5 ypc is okay as well. But this was Imme’s season, and we only had a handful of carries by others backs, like Hamilton. Catch? Code:
Scott had another 1000+ season, although barely. This year, we had 13 1000+ season in the league. But what’s cool here is Imme’s catching season with 736 rec yards and 8 scores. Lucas Lucas led my team in KRBm but his pass blocking has atrophied and he allowed 10 sacks this year, or about 40% of all sacks, which Benning’s just had 1 for comparison sack. Youc an see the various injuries we had this year on my line in a few places Def: Code:

Team Awards: Off. Play of the Year: RB Imme. Was great in the league and notched an All Pro to boot. Looks good little man, looks good! Def. Play of the Year: DE Maumalaga He led my team with 12 sacks, collected an All Pro award, and was solid all year long. Good stuff from the Mau Man. Spec. Teams. Play of the year: P Richard Lynn – 3rd highest net average in league, more than 50% of his punts inside the 20. Guy was amazing. Rookie of the Year: C Tate – I actually think P Lynn had a better year, but I already gave him a better award above. So Tate it is! Heart Award: Lucas Lucas – When other older additions, like Benton or Alcott were, at best, okay, Lucas Lucas led my team in KRB. Dude still has that professional attitude. And he is the weakest of my 5 starters too! Yet he had arguably the best year on my O Line statistically. Thanks buddy! The best player in FA is Sandmeyer. Others let go by the Chiefs include WR Frederick, backups like DE Enrique Banks and CB Stevenson and more. Not sure why you’d left Sandy go. In his first six years he’s S been All Pro 4 times and has 245 KRB. Last year? 46 KRB and another All Pro season I extend QB Loften by 100 mill, 3 years. We have 43 players under contract. I extend CB Pigg by 97 mill, 4 years I have a few players, like RB Imme up this year, but I do not extend them yet. Week 2 – I need: Starting DT Starting SS or FS Starting OG Starting RB for later? Hmmm... I have an idea. Now Sandy has dropped to low 60s in current ability. But I could make him an offer of 80 mill, 5 years, but that’s a long time and a lot of cash to commit. But I could move Tate to RG, he’d still likely be a low 70s RG, and sign a C. Not yet. Soon, perhaps. But not yet. Seattle takes a stud QB at 1.1 to kick us off A run on RBs happens just before we pick, and all of the players I scooped are gone, save for thee 2nd best S, Percy Lazuka... Take a look....  My major concern is the low interception bar, and I ‘ll move him to SS for now to be across from Maloney. Super High volatility. I would have preferred more of a major player, but he’s the best we have at any spots here. 2nd – G Ritchie Hancock – Solid stats, good combine numbers too – 3 blues. 3rd – DT Rex Newton – Good bars and such. At best you can describe Lofton as adequate. He was 8th in pass yards 13th in pass tds, and 16th in QB rating. His yards, TDs, and such were all down. 87.2 rating? Big tumble. By the way, we were 16th in the league in passing overall. So there you are. Code:
Now we almost had something I’ve never had this dynasty, a 1000 yard TE season. Peters was 3rd in the league among TEs in receiving, with 988 yards. He led my team as well, and you can see Scott and Holbert in here as well as Imme. Those core four are the ones that Lofton has a real affinity for. Note just how often Imme was catching the ball. Good stuff from the RB. Rushing? Code:
Here let’s drill down into Imme. He was 3rd in rush yards (Although just 9 off the #2) and second in Rush scores. Lofton, unlike Tamm from the Chiefs, is no rusher. Dude only rushed 23 times. Blocking? Code:
Check out our stats here too. Note that Lucas Lucas again had a solid season with 27 KRB, 1 pac, and just 4 sacks allowed. The guy knows how to block, he’s been doing it for me for a long time. If he had 1 or 2 more years of blocking at this level he’d get close to 400 KRB for a career. He has great longevity in this league. Flat out, I’m happy to see Bening do well finally, and had a higher block percentage than the other starters. But I need to see a lot more from Tate considering his skill set, as well as it may be time to move away from the idea that my OTs are set moving forward. Here’s the surprise. You might have thought Toth led my team in sacks given his All Pro and Maumalanga’s absence. Nope. Mad Mau was absolutely on queue with 15.5 sacks. And Mau’s amazingly high 36 hurries led the league by 4. Mad Mau had the better season statistically, other than pure tackles, but he’s not in the All Pro award roster when Toth is. Oh, and check out DT Sterne’s 4.5 sacks, 3 blocks and 6 hurries. I thought you might like that. WLB Hanson dropped the QB hard. Pass Coverage:? Code:
This was Pigg’s first All Pro, and his 5 picks, 2 TDs, and 15 pasdef shows why. He led the team in each of those stats. You can see some nice pasdef for Cook and Maloney, and Mal with 3 more picks, and Nickelback rookie Horner had 3 picks and 1 TD, so solid days there. Note we had 8 Picks returned for scores, a big number. Pigg also had 1 FF, 3 FumRecs, and 1 FR returned for a score

I;m curious as to how many more picks or action from him might have led to DPotY? Spec Teams Player of Year: P Lynn, 4th best in league punting average and other stats. I’ll take it! That’s My Lynn! Rookie of the Year: CB Horner – As a 7th round shower, he’s grown into a 49/65 guy, had 3 picks and pasdef, and was arguably one of the best non-Pigg players on my roster in fighting against the pass. So after a 10-6, 8-8, and 10-5-1 seasons, and after holding my season ticket prices constant with no real uptick in attendance, I’m very upset by our revenue streams. It’s time to make a move from San Diego. Despite the great local economy and growth, we aren’t seeing that. We are the 4th lowest value franchise in the NFL. Time to move up. I like Vegas, Salt Lake City, Portland as potential landing destinations, here is the late 2030s after booming has happened. Take Salt Lake as a good example – No team within 422 miles, 58k avg income, wants a team 100%, 5.1% growth, 1.77 pop, just 12.3 poverty, 100 trend-setting and that’s solid. Vegas? 239 miles to LA, 1.96 mill, 43k salary, 14.9% poverty, 72nd desire, 30 trend, 4.3% growth. Portland? Currently in -0.6% growth, but still 1.84 mill, 30.8, 12.5 pov, etc. I also lke Honolulu as well. 1,32 mill, 58.700 sal, 10.7% pov, 95th wants us, 6.2% growth. SLC or Hawaii? I submit a plan for a pimped out stadium in SLC for 1.4 bill, and us on the hook for the full 50%. Staff Fun Times I give raises to my coaches in their last year, and head into the draft We pick 22nd. I replace AC Khalif Barnes with a new AC. No need for a franchise tag... Unless I want to force Imme to the table. He wanted a ton of money, but I have multiple big name contracts coming down the pike this year, namely my DEs. He’s just the 21st best RB by current ability, I don’t see a need to tether my cap overly much to him.

I extend OG Bening by 4 years, 55 mill. I also ad a year to K Fields and FL Holbert. Do I want to pay 400 to keep both Mad Mau and Big Toth? I sign back 6 RFAs. I need talent in a lot of areas: Key for me is starters at WR, RB, RT this year, (Maybe LT in the future), and that’s a lot of cash to tie up into players that often cost a lot of money. Do I want to commit about 100 mil of my 315 mill cap to my D Line? Do I want to see 40 mill for Mau and 45 mill for Toth moving forward? Rough. Both are All Pros, and both feed off of each other’s presence, and I’m unsure that keeping one and not the other would really help the team. Of course I can just try and lean on the draft for OT, RB, and WR. I pick 1.24 this year, but I would really love to sign some later. And I only have 94 mill in cap space. I sign the one that I know will work later, Mad Mau, and then I can let Toth head into a tag next year, and then sign him from there to a longer term deal. Parker Maumalanga 4 years, 149 mill: Flat cap hit of 31 mill the first three years and then a dummy cap of 56 mill the last. OT McHugh is in his final year, but I’m not extending his 16 mill.eyar cap hit beyond this one to help be cap friendly next year. Any good Fas I want to chase around the block? 76/76 OT Roderick Lane? He wants 85 mill over 4 years. Totally worth it. I could sign him and cut McHugh. He’s just one year younger, but three years of experience less, may help to keep him limber for a while. Do I want to lock that down? Let’s scout the draft, which may inform my FA, because if I see chance of a great OT or Rb dropping, I don’t want to push my cap out of whack. I interview the top three WR, 4 Rb, and 5 Ots. I think I can get a good OT in the 3 or 4 spot, both look good and came back underrated. The 2039 NFL Amateur Draft!
We pick 1.24 La gets us started with WR Colby Bronson from Texas A&M heading off to help out the Rams. A run on RBs in the 1.3, and then 1.11-1.13 took them all off. Most pf the OTs have gone as well. The last one I really, really like is now the best player, not just at his position, but in the Draft, at 6.5 adjusted grade, LT Darren Vang. But I made a pledge to not trade up to target players I like to make this harder. So Vang heads off at 1.15. And then at 1.17 the last of the good OTs is gone. So... I take the best WR on the board, WR Connor Hobson, here, take a look...  And there’s my Scott replacement. Now in the 2nd, what’s next in my queue? The best player by talent is SLB Jonathan Collier. And if I needed another LB I’d grab him. But my emphasis on getting good ones early in the dynasty has paid off decently enough with my current backers. And you can always find good LBs later. Now, if Collier is a future star? Any good OTs left? Someone I can massage into a starter? Mah, I go Collier. O can’t see anyone else here worth the pick. Draft Players: 1st round – FL Connor Hobson 2nd Round – SLB Collier by talent 3rd round, WR Colton Shumway 4th – Maybe FS Bucky Sotelo? Sure, let’s do it. 5th – OT Kent Leibwitz 6th – DE Gus Blakely 7th – CB Jimmy Swinford – Chosen as a potential returner The vote to SLC passes 55 to 45% and we are heading to Utah!
