10ish minutes.

If I have to, I'll move mine, though I like the other 2 options even less than I like PB. I'm going to do whatever I can to prevent a tie from happening, that's for certain.

mccollins, you won't have to move unless someone else drops a vote in there. I'll break the tie eventually.

Frankly, I don't think a tie is that bad an option. It would be good to have an idea what happens with a tie, and its better to find out on day 1 than on day 9.

I'd rather see people be decisive on day 1. A tie is too easy, and hurts later analysis, in my mind.

I'm just afraid we're about to have 3-4 cats who will move their votes last minute trying to make sure we don't have a tie. And because of everyone moving their vote, we end up in a tie.

We're absolutely not leaving this as a tie.

I'll move mine to a non-vote leader first and then y'all can hash it out.
Plus, Cronin (and Lathum) have provided generous amusement with very good lolcats

Which is why I'd like PB to do his vote now, so we have a few minutes to screw around.

I agree with the sentiment, but I don't think a tie is going to happen because somebody "decides" to force a tie. I think it will happen by accident, if at all.

In any case, I will vote for the player I hope gets lynched - if that results in a tie, so be it. I won't vote for somebody I do not think is a wolf just to avoid a tie.

That makes no sense.

Moving off of one of the 3-way tied people doesn't help us - and to put it on a throw-away candidate?!?!?

And now you just basically ensured hoops dies. PB will vote hoops to protect himself, and we likely don't have time to move anything meaningful.

Well here is my self-defense move... St. Cronin is a good wolf and I'm not a fan of how stubborn he has been against me but Hoops has burned me a crapload of times.

dola - I also think voting "to prevent a tie" is a great excuse that can ruin analysis.

Sure it does - it makes it a 2-way tie.
Plus, out of anyone, after day 1, for my gameplay I would hope that CW might garner more votes.

Late vote switching on day 1 is stupid for a villager (unless you're looking to protect yourself). I've argued this before.

Actually, it looks like you and Lathum just moved to save hoops.

Pass, you routinely make statements like this when you're a wolf to gear up suspicion on other people as the next day begins.

With, what 5-10 minutes to go, on a person who hadn't gotten a lick of suspicion yet? Pretty unlikely.

I disagree. My thinking was the PB was a wolf, and JE was protecting him -- the reason I had my vote on hoops, only to switch it later, was to see what would happen with the heat on PB.

That may be, but even as a villager, I'm always looking toward the next day. If Lathum and I were trying to save hoops, why would we vote for different people?
