Well, unless we anticipate a start next week, so maybe he'd want to get going on it.

My work schedule is bananas right now. As it stands, I can't guarantee that I'll be able to check the board regularly ... pretty much a requirement when moderating.

I would ask that you bypass me and hopefully I'll be able to run the following one.

I can run another one if necessary .. don't want to deprive anyone else, but if we're short on willing GMs I'm available.

No way The Dungeon is ready for its next go. I was thinking summer for the next iteration.

I could do the Dr. Who one I always wanted to do with time travel and various incarnations of the Dr. and his various friends, nemeses, etc. So if you need someone to GM, I can try to hack together some rules for that.

I'm excited for the next dungeon. I still feel I would've been in a good place to win if I hadn't been out of touch.

I have some ideas for what I'd run, some of them would require 15-20, some could work for any. Just want to keep things running.

For what it is worth, here are a couple of teasers for my next game:
1.) Way more simplistic than the comic book games I've run
2.) Theme is Matrix, which I can not believe has not been done by now.

Edit - I'm basically posting this as a block on someone else deciding to run a Matrix game before my work schedule relents enough for me to moderate

In all seriousness I think this should be a once a year thing.

I know people had fun with it, but I'm not sure having a game that lasts a month more then once a year is healthy for the community as a whole

Matrix is a good idea. I was surprised when I did my Star Trek and LotR ones that those had not been used.

What about during summer when we often don't have any games at all, though? That seems doable, since we often take a rest then anyway.

this seems like the best bet.... since 2 of them in any row will just stop most people from even checking back.....

I sent a PM to KWhit. If he, EagleFan, and BK aren't ready, my next game is ready to go. I'll wait to hear what's up with these guys, though.

Can I be added to the list? But with the caveat that I likely can't run a game until the summer. But that way maybe it will get to me by the time I can run it.

Tradition here seems to be that you can always pass and not lose your spot in line, when your turn comes up. So no worries there.

Well, the game I want to run is an RPG along the lines of The Dungeon (but very different). I actually think it will be a game that can be run alongside a WW game. It will have fewer players (teams of 4 - I'm thinking 12 players total, but could be 16 if there's enough interest).

I'll need some time to finish the ruleset though, so feel free to post a game EF.

I hate to sound like a cynic but I would be very surprised if that happened.

Basically it would take a lot of people willing to multi-game, because we don't have enough people to have two games of 10-15 people going right now.

I'd love to do it sooner than later because I don't know when I'll have a job again (hopefully soon).

BK, can you do some updating on the list on the front page?

As it sits right now, I will not be able to run my game next week. Too much flux in my work situation. I hope to be able to run it sometime soon, but for now I have to keep sliding down the list.

I talked with KWhit, who is after me, and it sounds like he has a vacation that would keep him from running the next game. So time to start looking at names further down the list.

I sent RendeR a PM before the last game, and he said that we might as well remove him from the list, since he's got a lot going on.

I would suggest whoever is next gets a list going since there are only 5 people left in the current game.

If they get a list up today/ tomorrow we can get the game strarted early next week and not have either a full week go by or a game that starts late in the week only to get stalled by the weekend.

just my $.02c
