Winston has started slow before as well. It will be interesting to see the adjustments.

That SEC conference friendly schedule is really tearing up Auburn right now.

As a Michigan fan you seemed to be very happy to see Ohio State lose a couple of games. Now, as an Alabama fan, you are happy to see your rival winning?

I think some B1G fans have come to realize the SEC really is the superior conference and its not even close at this point. When hatred for a team or conferences success becomes too much you will always have people that jump on board defending their success.

I used to think the Big Ten was better than the Pac-10. I cant even say that anymore without feeling I have no facts to back it up.

I'm poking fun at Vegas Vic and his whole thing about the SEC playing conference friendly schedules compared to the Big 12. I don't want to see Auburn win, but if they are, the SEC haters can just shut the hell up.

Considering the fact that there's a non-crazy argument to be made that the Pac-12 is better than the SEC already, no. No you can't say that anymore

Edit because no, I do not think the Pac-12 has surpassed the SEC. Just noting that the argument exists and isn't completely far-fetched.

Okay, since nobody on my FB wall has answered my question, I'll ask it here:

Did anybody watching halftime NOT watching on Dish Network see the Lou Holtz commercial for the Catholic Church?

I'm betting that it was a "cover" spot aired only on Dish (or Dish + Direct) in a break meant for local cable affiliates, curious since ESPN recently got embroiled in a controversy about a spot for a Catholic hospital.

Can I just say how absolutely AWFUL the ESPN setup is for the FSU vs Auburn match ... I'm watching it mainly because my daughter is at FSU, their setup is ludicrous I just want to watch with traditional commentary not a group of people feeling important and talking rubbish the entire time .. and why the f**k is the match in 1/4 of the screen?

Im watching on Espn3 with the Auburn radio guys doing the play by play. Its only half the screen. The other half is in 3rds. One picture of Malzahn, one of stats, one of a player.

Its okay. But it is the MEGACAST!!!!!!

Okay, I think we kinda get to point our fingers & LOL at you on this one, just a little bit

Oddly enough, I've seen several people Tweeting how much more they were enjoying the alternate setups (there's at least 2 different feeds besides the main one) because it lets them avoid Brent Musberger.

I noticed this on the Saturday games and am noticing it tonight also. I am having a hard time hearing the commentary because of fan noise. Not sure if my TV setup is screwed up or networks arent blocking out crowd noise like they should be. Are you hearing the commentary fine?

Yeah, the regular feed sounds pretty normal to me. Now that you mentioned it the crowd noise might be the tiniest bit louder than usual tonight but nothing remotely interfering with the usual commentary or anything.

21-13 Auburn going into the 4th. FSU will have to earn it. Momentum has certainly swung in FSU's favor but Auburns defense is playing extraordinary.

If Auburn doesn't score, the penalty won't matter.

For being stupid is the correct answer. Actually, after seeing the replay. Pretty weak call. Didn't look like anything resembling a throat slash or something of that nature.

Kinda feels like Auburn just lost by not getting a TD there. Had the receiver open too...

24-20 around 4 minutes left. Winston with an opportunity to show his mental toughness right here despite having his first mediocre game as a college QB.

Wow.

Though to be honest, that might work in Auburn's favor. FSU's defense is probably still tired, and if they can run the clock down and march down the field...

That might be the best thing that could happen to Auburn. Now they have the chance to either tie or win with their offense rather than having to stop FSU with a short clock.

They scored too fast. The FSU defense looked gased the last drive. Won't be shocked if Auburn run 10 counters and move down the field on them.
