I do not like losing I left thinking that we had the evening covered, popped back in at the 45 minute to confuse other teams, popped back out again, and wow, did we screw some pooch.
To be fair, I hit second twice when I might have been a half second faster or whatnot, and that extra point or two would have been worth soemthing. We all share blame on this one I guess.

What an incredible roller-coaster ride today had to be for your team. After a torrid start it all came apart down the stretch. What do you think happened? Did the other teams rise to meet your level, or did you take your foot off the gas?

I actually think this is the second time in this game that we have been screwed by our lack of numbers.
And, I think it hurt us in two ways today: First, only four players to cover a day when we had to be available for virtually the entire day. I know I have little to no internet access while at work and I know most, if not all, of our team works and/or goes to school full-time, so we were at a big disadvantage in that way. Second, a one-in-four shot to negate our vote, since there are only four of us, as opposed to a one-in-five or one-in-six for the other teams, and it just clearly made sense, especially after we took the lead, for the other teams to key in on and try to disable us. The other teams figured this out early enough and then took advantage of it down the stretch to kill us. |

What are your thoughts on Swaggs ending up with the most votes? Are you concerned about "something bad" happening to him?

I am concerned, but also eager to find out what it is. Maybe it will somehow turn into a positive.

How do the presence of the idols impact your decisions for voting?

Also, there has been a lot of speculation about the presence of "werewolves" on this island. Do you believe that you would recognize one if you were to vote them off? After all, it isn't like voting them off means you cap them with a silver bullet ... our advertisers would never go for something like that.

Im not crazy when i say evil is manipulating things...the team with idols that can harm evil is the team being conspired against...im not crazy, people really are out to get us...

Right now, the idols are not a factor for me.
I'm probably going to see how tomorrow's challenge goes before deciding on who to vote for. It stinks in this game, because I really like all of the members of my tribe and like them outside the game, since I am very familiar with all of them as FOFC vets and I honestly don't think we have played a bad game up to this point. We have just been unfortunate with our numbers, as we need to run our games almost perfectly to win, whereas other teams can rely on their numbers to help them if they make mistakes. I know I'll have to vote for one of three guys that I like and enjoy playing with and I am not ready to make the call on who yet. |

Blade, I don't doubt that the werewolves may be manipulating their teams, but I think the bigger motivation for voting against us is that the odds were higher that they would block one of ours, since there are only four of us. They had a 1/4 shot in blocking us, as opposed to a 1/5 or 1/6. |

OOC - I'm not entirely sure, as I read the post a couple of times to make sure I was talking with the right group and saw the same thing you cited with the scores. But I went with his text in both the thread and our AIM conversation from when I came back online post-deadline. |

For the conspiracy-theory people out there - the two teams in tribal council are the team with the seer and the team who won the idols.
Do you think that the other teams should have soft-played against you based on this knowledge? If so, would reminding them of the idols during the daytime competition have helped or hindered your efforts? |

Guys, what do you think about Tyrith's explanation of running another account because he is into statistics? I am leaning towards thinking he has some sort of ability to read other tribes' threads (and yes, I am aware that he could/will eventually see this), and just screwed up by not logging out first. Thoughts?

I believe what he said. I can totally see someone clicking on the # of posts to see who was being active. And he probably didn't realize that it was wrong to do so. Borderline? Yes. But he probably thought to himself that he was okay because he wasn't reading their threads. I'm sure he had no idea that when you do that it shows you as being in the thread. Which is why he got pissed off when AE started accusing him of cheating. It is a crappy situation, but I tend to believe Tyrith. |

Nah. I think that since we haven't seen ANY evidence of wolves yet that players have just been trying to win challenges. At least to this point, a player is MUCH more likely to be voted off at tribal council than to be eaten by wolves. So it is super important to win the challenges. |

My concern is that once someone is voted off, they BECOME a wolf (or have a %chance to become a wolf). I don't have much to back that up, except that no wolf attacks have come yet, and I imagine they will now that we have voted some folks off the island. |
