Werd! So... does this mean he did, or did not, get discovered by the Outlaws? Or we don't know?

Everyone, kindly clear your Inboxes. I'm having a hard time communicating with you. (And you never know, there might be twists and shit.)

There better be or we're going to get our butt handed to us by the outlaws.

Here's a thought. I don't know who the outlaws are. I'm saying we could use a twist for the good guys, or we're all going to be sucking hindtit. That is, unless you are an outlaw.

No, we're not going to be "sucking hindtit". We have already made some very sound plays, caught a little bit of a break last night, and I think with some smart analysis we can wrap this game up with ease, without any help from special twists. I'm frustrated by ardent's poor attitude and lack of effort to find the outlaws. My vote will be going to him tomorrow morning if I'm still alive, and we don't have any really strong evidence. His attitude simply sucks, or he is an outlaw. Either way, he should go home.

I think I might be the only one vocal about it. We're fighting an uphill battle without our seer. To say most of us are in a little despair isn't a lie.

Right, but how does repeatedly saying "I'll make a random vote because I have nothing to go on" help us at all. Don't you think an ATTEMPT at some helpful analysis could prove fruitful?

Dola...
Posts like the ones you've made make the game easy for the bad guys... based on the fact that I was one last game, when everyone kept acting frustrated like they were in an unfair game it made it easy to lay low. We MUST stir the pot even if it means we lose an extra guy or two in the short-term. We need everyone talking because without that, and only at that time, will we be in a situation where despair is an appropriate reaction.

That was an awesome result for our lynch vote. We really needed something like that to get this ship righted! Good job guys.

Let's look at what happened yesterday:
1. Lathum dies. 2. Blade and Bek bicker -- turns out both are (essentially) villagers 3. Blade also has doubts on pennywise. 4. Fouts suspects me, and then votes ardent without a ton of reasoning -- weird turnaround. 5. kingfc & jeff chime in with votes but no commentary -- RED FLAG IN MY BOOK 6. Blade dies -- we lynched a villager, but it turns out to be a good thing for us. KEY POINT -- SHERIFF DID MAKE A PROTECT ON NIGHT 1 -- can someone go through and check to see who might have deserved protection? I have Geotech. Eng. HW to do and am very tired tonight (6am-6pm workday) and don't feel like going back through the thread right now. So, here is my thinking: 1. jeff, kingfc, and Fouts are very suspicious to me (totally 180 from earlier) 2. A witness coming forward wouldn't be such a bad thing right now, IMO.

We were damn lucky to get the MOLMF with what was little more than a random vote, although you never know if the outlaws would have actually made an attempt on Blade (e.g. when I've been a bad guy in the past, I've tended to let him go as it's nice to have a lightning rod around, for situations exactly like this one...).
We really need to pick off an outlaw to get some traction here, though... so far, we're still playing in the dark. Notwithstanding some dark pronouncements about people, there's no real indication that we've ever had an outlaw up on the block. I gotta confess, I'm not going to be voting at random tomorrow (assuming I survive the night... not necessarily a safe assumption considering ardent had me whacked early in one of these...), but it won't be all that far from it.

(sorry for the lateness... had to do stuff.)
You all wake up, you heard the lone gunshot last night. What could have happened? As you walk out, you see ardent_enthusiast's body sprawled in front of his house. One bullet wound right between the eyes. You begin to enter his house and search for his things, when you notice that pennywisesb is also missing! You look for him, and you find him in his bed, his face white as a ghost. He died in his sleep? Ardent_Enthusiast was a Psychic Gypsy Twin! pennywisesb was a Psychic Gypsy Twin! It is now Day 4, Vote Deadline is at 9PM EDT! 1. ardent enthusiast - Psychic Gypsy Twin, killed by Outlaws Night 3 2. Passacaglia 3. MrBug708 4. saldana 5. dubb93 6. RPI-Fan 7. SackAttack - Private Investigator, killed by Wealthy Baron, Day 1 8. Bek - Wealthy Baron, role revealed Day 1 9. Mr. Wednesday 10. Lathum - Villager, killed by Outlaws, Night 2 11. Blade6119 - Man Of Loose Moral Fiber, lynched Day 3 12. pennywisesb - Psychic Gypsy Twin, killed via psychic connection with ardent enthusiast, Night 3 13. jeff061 14. Fouts 15. kingfc22 16. Ardent should of said nothing and risk getting lynched rather than paint a giant bullseye on his forehead. If he had survived the night he would of been my far and away #1 choice.

Yeah, RPI -- I just re-read the rules again, and the MOLMF doesn't even know about being the MOLMF until it's triggered. So no reason to suspect me as being the MOLMF other than pure bunk. |

we have to nail an outlaw today period. we have between 1 to 3 days depending on the # of outlaws and this game is over. Hopefully our witness saw something last night because we need him big time now.

Well it's the reason I didn't vote for you . But like I said, if the Outlaws hadn't of killed you I'd consider you my #1 suspect. Admitting you have an important role is certain death in my eyes, unless you can back it with a role discovery(if you are a seer) or if it's an end game move.

That said, a sheriff should of been guarding you. If there was no kill I'd be suspicious, but not looking for a lynch yet.

Vote dubb92
I'm just throwing this out there... he has been a little suspicious with his actions thus far. BTW, here are the voting results from yesterday: Quote:
I'm guessing the (3?) Outlaws spread their votes among three different players. Passacaglia is clear in my book... That leaves saldana & Schmidty in voting for Blade. Among the voters for ardent, I think either Fouts or dubb92 could be Outlaws -- or both, even. I'm more inclined to think dubb -- for what reason, I'm not totally sure. In the henry voters, there is Mr. W & jeff... not sure at all, here. I'd say jeff just because he's been so damn quiet, and got very defensive recently. kingfc's vote for saldana is weird, but I don't know what to think of it -- same with SnDevils. So here is my most likely guess: saldana/Schmidty, Fouts/dubb92, Mr. W/jeff -- my picks are Schmidty, dubb, and jeff right now. I know I have been totally wrong so far, but I'm really trying to actually analyze the situation here instead of just expressing how helpless it might be. Thoughts?

I was quiet, and figured someone would mention that(and still may) since I usually post more, but I don't think I've really gotten defensive.
I just wanted to drill in that you shouldn't seem so confident so early in the game when you have no idea, all that does is start incorrect bandwagons with little to no discussion and nothing to go on afterwards. This is not aimed at your last post at all. On the bright side if I ever do happen to get lynched it won't cost us a special role . Last edited by jeff061 : 09-15-2005 at 01:38 PM. |

If I were an outlaw, I would have killed RPI for his analysis. WHY wasn't he killed? Ardent was a suspicious character that may have been lynched tomorrow.

Because Ardent was hinting at a special role and RPI was throwing suspicions on innocent people. I would of killed Ardent.

It still isn't to bad for the villagers. We have a 10-3 advantage.
I think the outlaws are trying to lay low a little bit. I have my suspicions about saldana for his quick vote against bek. Then SunDvls came out with some quick support for saldana and then votes randomly for Bug who really hasn't said much. If they are both outlaws their comments make sense. Right now: vote saldana

hold the train there buddy. All I said was that it was pretty obvious why he did what he did. Heck even Bek voted for himself right away. Second, wasn't everyone's vote pretty random? Unless you have some inside info you want to share you better quickly back up some of those claims. The last person who threw out claims like yours ended up wrong. Look at my first vote for you, becasue of your name. And who was your second vote for? and why? I'll research it and let you know. |

dola - this is a big assumption too. as I stated in a prior post. the outlaws only have to get a 1-1 ratio of non-jailed/lynched villagers. If we assume as you say there were 3 to start it's 3-9 right now. Let's assume we don't get one tonight unless someone comes forward with some info fast then tomorrow day it's 3-7. now let's assume it started with 5 outlaws. now it's 5-7....it could all be over tonight! be careful with assumptions it got lots of us killed in the spawn game. |

Unvote dubb
Vote henry I don't _at all_ like that he kind of "knew" there were 3 outlaws... think that might be a slip, and is good a reason as any for me to vote him.
