Narcizo's post number should be 330, not 333.

Why me? Given how things shook out yesterday, I would have to think there are better options.

Sorry everyone. I'm kinda, sorta lot busier than I had reckoned with today. Not going to be around much at all. Still, it's only day one. Again.

Really don't think we should revote people who have been voted yesterday again. That would remove the gain that could otherwise be gained from the reset.

The only actions from day. Were the passing of the items. No need for an item vote today.

Vote Britrock

You always lean towards me. I'd be more worried if you weren't leaning towards me. See what good it's done you lately? Never any. Well except for that game where you were a wolf...

FWIW - my vote on you was a typical "vote Lathum D1 and try to get him riled up" type vote, but then when I realized I wouldn't be around much and there was a chance to put 3 people clear ahead of the others and thus hopefully gain some meaningful intelligence through that, I took it.

Serious.

We have the voting record from yesterday - we don't know what the result would have been, but we can put that voting record "in the bank" so to speak, and analyze it if/when those people die later in the game.

Hmm, Day 1 thinking for a Day 2 vote. (FWIW, I was trying to keep the race from narrowing quickly -- my vote on you wasn't about anything except the number of votes you already had on you.)

I will also say Brit left his vote on me even though there was a close race. I think for now I have elevated trust in Murray5Y, but I wuold like to have some clarity on CW and Katy to help decipher brits vote more.

So is there traction to the line of thought that we ignore D1 for purposes of today's vote? It's intriguing, but I think we can pick apart yesterday's votes to come up with a couple candidates.

Given that not much else happened though, I find it pretty interesting too. Were they saving a wolf (in Katy) or were wolves trying to condemn Katy today?

Both very plausible. As for Katy's activity level, DQ and I have the benefit of knowing that she was actually pretty busy in real life until close to the deadline. Figure it's worth reporting that to the rest of you.

Looking at ti very generally we had two folks far in the lead, votes moved from both of them to push a third into place. So it's unlikely the issue is someone saving a wolf--if so they would have pushed the other contender, not a third, at least to some degree. So I think we just have some villager movements (not to say there might not have been a wolf on the block, but doesn't look like an obvious save). I think we'll do better looking at posts than the votes themselves, on this day.

It's not unheard of for a wolf to save another wolf with a last minute move but it would have to be an important wolf to risk tying themselves that closely together. So I take back my fontisian vote. I'll take the plunge and lay the second vote on path. Because when he's a wolf he's sneaky as sneaky can be.

Unvote fontisian

I agree, I don't see why we would ignore it. True, we don't know much about the people involved in the vote, but considering only Grandpa knew there wasn't going to be a lynch, everyone basically played it straight as if it were a real day. We have to make assumptions at this point though. Was there a wolf in the top vote getters or not? If yes, then we have to figure out who would be the most likely wolf based on movement and such and either vote them if there's a reasonable case to be made or find a suspicious vote changer. If not, then we probably would do best to look at early or middle voters looking to establish the candidates or drop a safe vote on someone likely to be a leading contender.

I kind of went a bit away from those ideas because I don't enjoy being in a situation late in the game where we have to figure out people that we have little to no information on due to lack of posts and missing votes. Though I will say based on what I've seen from now since last night, I think DQ is likely to be more active going forward than he was D1.

It's not number, it's just involvement. A wolf who never talks, or never says anything related to the game, never has to lie. So it's in our best interest for villagers to make as many relevant comments about the game as possible to give us somsething to vote on.
