Saying you are BG is like saying that you are the father of Anna Nicole's baby, every wants to stake a claim!

I don't know. I was told that I hung around and nothing happened. Why all the questioning? If you are worried that I ID'd you, don't. I did not see anything...seems you are a bit nervous and trying to bully me into giving out info. |

Why all the questioning? Because you are claiming to be the bodyguard, which I know is a lie. |

Something doesn't add up here. If it didn't cross your mind that you could hinder a wolf attack, why again did you guard CR? |

At the time, I believed I could do that and now I know that it is not likely. I have read through some old threads since then and realized that it was not something the bodyguard was typically able to do. That is how I thought at the time, so that is what I reflected in my thought process...sorry I was not clear. I don't always explain myself well, so that is why I have been a little quiet. I didn't want to give myself away early on and be forced to reveal my role. Interesting that you voted for me so early....you have set me up nicely to go down in the case of a tie. Kudos to you. |

The only problem with this explanation is that you said it would not have crossed your mind. Obviously it did cross your mind if that was your reasoning for guarding CR. |

Night two, I guarded ntn. Since no attack occurred, I figured that I had blocked ntn from doing anything. Hence my vote on him on day three and my refusal to move my vote late.quote] If we want to play the contradiction game, here you were convinced NTN was a wolf. Another thing to think about: If I'm not the bodyguard, why come out so strong after you? You didn't name anyone as a suspect, and if I was a wolf, I would have laid low and waited a couple nights to attack you.

How is that a contradiction? I guarded ntn because I thought he would be a good attack target. After nothing happened that night, I looked at the data at hand and came to a different conclusion. I didn't guard ntn with the intent to stop him from doing an attack or because I thought he was a wolf, but because he would make a good target. |

It would be a one-one exchange, if this were true. You get lynched, it comes out that you're the BG, I get lynched the next day. Or I could wait, kill someone else tonight because you are going to guard yourself tonight, and then kill you on the next night. If I'm a wolf, I'm going with the second option there. This is all moot anyway because I am the bodyguard while you are a wolf. And I figure either ntn or SnDvls is the other wolf and one is the Nosy Competitor. |

Except if I get lynched tonight assuming there are 2 wolves it is 4-2 with the nosy competitor who knows who the wolves are, which means as long as you don't kill the nosy competitor tonight, you win. Seems like the right time if you ask me. |

I must be dense because I don't see this as a call to the BG not to guard you or out himself (although I'm not sure why you would think the BG would out himself simply because you were going to be lynched). Since ntn and Marathoner were the two voting for you at this time and we know that Marathoner wasn't a wolf, what are your views on ntn? |

Wow. Don't know who to believe. If Molly weren't Lathum's fiancee, and thus likely to be even more cunning than he, I'd never give her credit for pulling this off. However, I don't see any explanation for the reveals working except as how Jonathan laid it out.
So I'm going to go Unvote Chief Rum Vote Molly |

To anyone still on the fence about voting for MM:
Read through her answers to my questions. Read #356 again. Notice how she contradicts herself and then tries to make it look like I contradicted myself. |

I'm about to leave and will probably not be back before deadline. I'm not surprised with how the voting has fallen out so far. I fully expect ntn to vote for me as well. I do find it rather telling that he's going to wait to cast that vote. That means it's up to either CR or bsak to keep us in this game.
Again, read MM's answers to my questions. She's not the bodyguard. |

My first instinct was to vote for Chief Rum but I think if he is not a wolf the wolves will get him real soon. Rereading the latest posts makes it easy to vote the following

You keep trying, but it's not working. Kind of like your answers to my questions earlier. You still haven't explained why you would never think that you could block a wolf attack, and yet at the same time have that as your reasoning behind "guarding" CR. |

Doesn't matter if you're the hunter. You're gone and I'll be dead tonight. That'll leave five players. Two wolves and the sorcerer. Then can then vote out whomever they want tomorrow and game ends.

That seemed pretty obvious. I think that ntn really copped out by not following through on the Molly/JE gambit. What a disappointment.

DALMATIAN FIREHOUSE CHILI
1/2 pound beef suet 2 pounds ground round 3 tablespoons garlic, minced 1/4 cup hot chile powder 2 tablespoons hot paprika 1 tablespoon kosher salt 1/2 tablespoon freshly ground white pepper 1/2 teaspoon cumin seed 1 tablespoon crushed red chiles 4 cups water 6 cups canned kidney beans, drained Heat suet in a dutch oven, over a medium-low flame. Heat and stir until partially rendered and lightly browned. Add beef, garlic, chile powder, paprika, salt, pepper, cumin, and red pepper flakes. Heat and stir for 8-10 minutes to brown beef. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 2 hours. Add water, cover, and simmer for 90 minutes, stirring often add beans and simmer, uncovered, for 15-30 minutes. Serve hot. Serves 8. ------------------------------------------------- Huck Ledderman was a man who could fix anything. Cars, radios, wiring, whatever -- he could take it apart and put it back together good as new. He'd spent months perfecting his Firehouse Chili recipe and like everything else in his life, it was finely tuned. That is, until the judges came by and discovered it had been spiked with an entire bottle of curry powder. Jonathan Ezarik, the Guard, has been eliminated. DAY 5 ACTIONS DUE 10PM EASTERN.
