Yeah chances are there is something hard coming up since he ran and its not a good action to attack someone who is just doing their job. Probably best to save energy and time and pass through. Still I have some fear there may be a penanrly for that since we are 'good'

DV should have been listed as level 5 on the previous character breakdown. The scroll actually brought him up from level 5 to 6.

remove curse woudl be nice to get rid of this necklace, but I hate to waste a spell on that.

I'm kind of inclined to attack the executioner. I think it's clearly waht the good guys do (not to get all political but in general torture is bad no matter if the elf is lying). It does take time but I would bet that the payoff is real.

When we met Killers I was slept the whole battle and didnt even wake up in time to take a potion.

Summon monster is probably more valuable than heal, I'd guess that a monster summoned at the beginning of battle will do more damage over the course of that battle then one heal would save us in damage. He could also act as a meat shield for us.

Im thinking summon monster and dispel magic?

Summon Monster makes some sense. I'm not sure on dispel magic, it matters how many things it can accomplish. For example in D&D I don't think it would work on a web, but you're right it would work on sleep.

KWhit, can you tell us what things dispel magic would work on?

I really think this spot is where we can earn some advantage, but maybe it's not worth the time. I vote for saving the elf, but time is running out. I will go with majority rules and send in an action to pass on through the room. However, Darth if yo'ure back by noon and want to change your mind I wouldn't mind.

Actually I would guess that if the bad guys slit the elf's throat they'll probably get a boon from the executioner. Hopefully whatever boon we might get isn't worth the pause.

Lucky Room #13!

A blackjack game is going on. An unruly, drunk dwarf sits at the table. A large pile of gold sits in front of him. Underneath his chair is a small locked box.

On the other side of the table is the dealer, also with stacks of gold in front of him. He greets you and asks if you want to play a couple of hands.

"I know you're in a rush, but I deal really fast. It won't take much time." he says.

The dwarf scowls at you. "These assholes don't look like they can play cards anyway."

The dwarf is so drunk, you imagine that the specialist could steal the box if one of you sits down to play a few hands. And you might win a little something while you're at it. He gives you a wink.

Your fans watch you through cameras mounted on the walls. You can see them in TV monitors. They encourage you to play some hands.

Choices:
Pass on through.
Play a few hands, but don't try to steal the box.
Play a few hands, and try to steal the box from the dwarf.
Attack the Dwarf.
Attack the Dealer.
Try to kill everything in the room and take all the loot you can find.

Alright, back in the lead, sweet. If we want to keep fame up we play a few hands. stealing the box may erupt in a battle and piss off the crowd too since we're good guys. if we want to speed into a bigger lead then we pass though. It's all about weighing fame and speed
