Why are those caveman commercials still on TV? Those need to go along with the Coors Football coaches commercials.

I like the Southwest bag commercials and the Bud Light "Tailgate Tested--Tailgate Approved!" commercials.

As you can tell, the Raiders will lose again.

I think they need to do some throwback stuff. Bring the bud frogs back and the "waaasssuupppp" stuff back. Just one commercial and that's it. Run 'em a few times and retire them again.

I still don't get the Vikings here. If you aren't getting pressure with 4, you need to open it up here. He's carving you up and a has a propensity to take sacks. Pressure him.

They did on that play and he hit for a five yard gain, I'd take my chances that he could keep doing it.

Great angles there Viking defenders. Let Rodgers just run. and run. and run.

Benny Sapp... lmao, wtf was that.

Vikings deserve what they are getting on defense. Far too passive. Reminds me of the Ravens game. They aren't putting pressure on Rodgers, are being undisciplined and are trying to give the game away. Now well see if the packers decide to continue the pattern here and return the favor.

If this is me, there is no way in hell I'd let Percy Harvin catch this football.

Now all the Vikings need to do is play conservative right? Lets just run out the clock and punt away.. our defense will stop them.

These Vikings are impossible. Look like the greatest team on Earth in the first half and follow it up by looking like the Lions in the 2nd.

And announcers, stop talking about the pressure there. He had the time to make that throw. He didn't convert it. It was nothing more than a poor throw.

Ummm.. I disagree on the roughing the passer, but I've seen worse.

The last thing the ref said was just silly... "Unnecessarily threw the quarterback down"... wtf, he was already going down.

The official who made that call should get a week off. I understand you want to protect the QB. I understand you want to be cautious. But you just called a critical 15 yard penalty in a game that was not even close to the correct call. On a play 5 yards in front of you.

the Vikings do what they should have been doing for the last six drives. Blitz the hell out of him. Rodgers goes straight down and then nearly throws an INT. Funny how that works.

Always has been. Plus NBC gives up this game in order to have the opening Thursday night game.

Woot. Thank goodness for that. Now if we do nothing the rest of the drive it at least maybe makes it an 8 point game.

My guess for the Vikings next play... a failed screen.

And Green Bay out of timeouts. Wow.

It sure is nice having Favre for these situations when the game tightens up. He looks as good right now as Ive ever seen him.

Serious question here:

How is that a roughing the QB call on Rodgers and not one on a WR who is tackled by the helmet and thrown forward 3 yards?

That was more of a roughing the passer than the one they called it on.

Who has an offense youd fear more right now? Minny or New Orleans? Saints may be more glamorous but its hard to defend Minny because of the run/pass option they now have.

The Vikings have no pass coverage will could be their demise but this offense to me is pretty unstopable.

When Winfield comes back the secondary will be much improved. I'm not entirely worried about the secondary down the road. Let the youngsters get their bumps and bruises and make themselves better for when they come in as Nickel Backs.

The Vikings have a bye next week and I just noticed this huge fact:

Three home games in a row for the Vikings coming back from a bye.. Lions, Seahugly Uniforms and the Bears. 10-1 and clinching a playoff spot during Week 12? That would be nice.

Saints are averaging 150 yards/game on the ground and are the #3 rushing team in the league going into this week.

In the playoffs? You have NE (Brady/Moss), NO (brees to everyone), Indy (Manning to everyone), GB (Rodgers is still one hell of a QB), Philly (really diverse). . .

But the offense I would fear the most in the playoffs is the Vikings. You have All Day and Taylor, the best RB in the game and a solid change of pace guy. You have an all-pro QB playing at a high level. You have multiple deep threats to worry about.

The only thing they really lack is a consistent guy to get the ball to on 3rd and 5 (a Wes Welker/Dallas Clark type of guy. Even there, the TE is improving and some of the WR appear to be getting tougher to stop.

All of this assumes the 40 year old will hold up for the full 16. I don't care how much of a teenager he looks like, he's still 40 and we'll see how he's playing in December.

You can tell our local affiliates(green bay) wanted to get Favre off the screen in a hurry if they switch it over to a game that is also already over.. lol

Pathetic, Fox affiliate.. Pathetic.

Amazes me that they wouldn't make him get to (at least) the conference championship game before rewarding him like that.

The Packers line is just LOL bad. Although Rodgers really looked bad on a few of those sacks. He really should have been content for trying for 5-6 yards and a slide a few times there.

Good too see Ben's boy Asher Allen get a lot of PT out there for the Vikings.
