ROCK STAR SUPERNOVA's self-titled debut album has shifted less than 56,000 copies in the United States since its November 2006 release

That's surprising. I mean seriously, why isn't anyone buying a CD with such great lyrics. "Here's your hey, hey, hey" is right up there with anything ever written!

I'm embarrassed for Butch Walker that he was involved in that atrocity. I have no idea if he wrote that particualr song or not, but he apparently wrote a number of them. Then again, he WAS a member of Southgang, so he's used to being embarrassed.

I'm seriously bummed about this because not only did I enjoy the show, but it was on during the summer and gave me something to watch during a typically boring TV season.

bingo! That's the worst part of it. I enjoyed the show a lot too and even more since it was on during the slow months of Summer, giving me just one show to follow.

Maybe there's something to this telepathy thing or maybe just something in the air that affects us all but I too went looking for info on this show yesterday and found the same. A great pity if it is canceled. Sure, Rockstar Supernova wasn't as good as Rockstar INXS (I still play the dvd I made of the INXS 15 hour windup show) but it was still head and shoulders above any other music talent show I've ever seen. It will be missed by a whole pack of us over here

I'm sad that there will be no third season of the show. Even when some of the weaker talent was performing, there was still a hell of a house band lighting it up behind them. This show will be missed.

What a blast from the past. Wasn't sure whether to update this or the 80s thread - Dilana was hired to be the new singer for LA Guns.

I don't really follow this kind of news all that often, but as dust-ups go, this one is pretty funny. Apparently Tracii Guns is taking a tremendous amount of shit for this, both because it's a chick and because she's now the 9th singer for a band that's had 43 different lineups. Literally 43. That's not just some huge number I made up to exaggerate.

But anyway, good for her. I kinda wondered what happened to her.

EDIT: to clarify that there are 2 LA Guns, one touring with Tracii Guns and the other with original singer Phil Lewis.

D'OH!

At this point, I bet half of them are deaf, and half will wish they were deaf.
