Okay, if you think someone else will go after blade, that's cool.

Just a warning though, Swaggs is here too for lupus and has been really quiet while blade has been talkative. With swaggs still here, I find it possible he might be their more likely voter this time instead of Blade.
So if you want to go after lUpus, Swaggs might make more sense. |

And cronin is a good vote, so that we can save Alan, too.
Now, anything we can do to avoid our voter getting predicted? |

i was thinking about Swaggs, too -- if someone else gets Blade, we can get Swaggs. It's up to you, Alan -- are you worried about winning the vote?

It will be harder to predict us since we have Lathum, you, Tyrith and me all around. Two of our guys still needing to go. For other teams it will be a tossup to who will go for us.

Not to mention, Blade is more likely to be available later, while Swaggs is likely to be available just now.

I think we need to focus on finishing 1st or 2nd place more than protecting me. i don't see any reason why I get forced out of the game if I get the most votes. Right now though I dont think that voting for Cronin keeps us from the objective as winning as a team this vote. I think Cronin is the only Oz member around that hasnt voted yet, while LUpus has two people. I think Cronin is a higher percentage play this time for that reason. If it was reverse though I think we need to focus more on our team winning than me losing. |

I think its pretty likely that Path will go for howard this time. However I don't see the point in voting for them right now.

Good point -- we are behind oz, too, so taking them down will help. Tyrith, just get the vote in early, and I'm cool with whatever you decide! |

I say we go for someone in Oz, we need to get second before third.
Also a way to counter them knowing who will vote is to leave the challenge thread open even if you aren't at your computer that way it looks like you are in the thread and could be a voter. |

I'm going to keep a browser window open in the challenge thread all day if I can, even if I'm not going to be here, in attempt to throw them off. I do this typically anyway as a metagaming defense. I don't think they're going to predict me -- especially if I'm faster than they are.

Hmm Goldeneagle just showed back up.. He was here earlier too.. He might have signed up for the 12 noon timeslot..
Im starting to second guess the cronin choice. It might be the best play to do Swaggs after all. If you can beat him that is Tyrith. Goldeneagle might be going this vote as he is less likely to be around later than Cronin will. |

Does simply leaving the challenge thread open work? I thought the board stops recognizing you if you don't refresh.

I say don't vote GE -- my guess is that he will be slow, and if he votes, you will beat him anyway. Heading over to the voting thread.

They might expect us to vote for cronin and be using this as a chance to change it up. Yeah....damnit.

Too many people only have availability during times when I have no access to a computer to make the question idea work.

Looks like Howard DQ'd themselves this time with two voters.
Goldeneagle didn't bold so his vote wont count like mine didnt I guess. |

Nice job, Tyrith! I think now we just have to worry about lupus. At this point, maybe we can just get the other tribes to gang up on them?

Yeah, and his first vote was also early. His second vote won't count because that rule got changed. Oz and...Howard? really hurt themselves that round. Next up is Pass, good luck to you sir

Barkeep, a question.. do the votes for Ardent and me there still count, or no because of the DQ? (the non bold and the double vote)

Without counting the vote for me or Ardent (I assume they dont count), I see this as the total:
St.cronin - 3 Ardent - 1 Schmidty - 1 Jonathan - 1 Alan - 2 Swaggs - 1 Lupus - 9 Helsing - 5 Oz - 3 Howard - 2 We now are in second place which is great. Now to keep aiming for Lupus. We guessed wrong there, but was worth a shot Tyrith. |

Pass, you really have to be on top of it, you have about a second of leeway before the votes will start piling in.

Yep, we are second right now. Its a moot point though if Mr.W doesn't show up. If he kills us, we automatically go to tribal council tonight no matter how well we do here.
Alan - 9:53 Gramm - 10:30 Tyrith - 12:00 Lathum - 1:15 Passacaglia - 3:00 ?Mr.W? -5:00 7:30 ?Alan? - 9:48 ?Alan? - 9:59 (votes must be in by 10:00) |

So -- I'm wondering if we should rally the other teams to predict for lupus. It's an organizational nightmare to do it, and even then, if we're successful, then they come after us. it might be best to just keep going after them ourselves, and hope everyone else gets the idea. Maybe a few veiled remarks, like "wow lupus is killing everyone" ??

One thing to think about, if I am going to be getting votes, it might not be a good idea for me to go at the end as I might be too slow and get nullified. If I am the only one around, I'll just have to do my best though.

I say 90% I'll be around tonight but I am getting nervous about Mr. Wednesday, not because I don't think he will show but it could put us in a situation where he has to be one of the last 2 votes and other tribes will pick up on it.
It seems people are gunning for Oz and I really don't know why, do people think their elevated post count makes them more dangerous. So who to go for next? |

I think people are going for the large teams. Us and Oz. Both Oz and us can lose a person and still have more people than the other teams. If Howard or Lupus lose someone its devestating. They will then be down 6 people to 3. Right now things don't look good for Howard. |

I agree -- we should try to get everyone a vote as soon as possible. Having a lot of people really hurts us in this challenge. |

Definitely hit Lupus next, right? Maybe Swaggs, since he is the only one who hasn't voted?

Okay, I'm back for just a second.
For the last two if both Lathum and Alan are around I think we might want to mix it up. Lathum can go first, and if they think he's going to go again we might can send Alan at them. Depends on the voting trend throughout the day and how fast we are, of course -- if Lathum goes and gets first then he should probably go again, etc. Really gone now. |

So for strategy, does Lathum vote Swaggs again and try to beat him to the vote?
Swaggs is the only Lupus member who hasn't voted yet. Where we have two people needing to vote that are here currently, and a third not around. |
