And the Bears cut Nathan Peterman, putting Bagent as the only other QB on the roster.

But, I guess poor development has happened in all sports since the dawn of time.

They'd be better off grabbing a veteran QB that already knows what to do during the play and can reject poor play designs. Then they can focus on teaching everyone else how to play the game.

I think part of the problem is the Bears have struggled to get a GM, Coach, and QB on the same page. Nagy didn't draft Trubisky, Poles and Eberflus didn't draft Fields. If they decide to move on for Fields they need to commit to Eberflus for 2-3 more years or move on. Don't draft a qb and then move on from Eberflus after 1 year.

That's the complete opposite of the play where the receiver steps out of bounds then touches the ball in play for a kick out of bounds penalty.

That was a pretty special play - it's like he saw a sideline and his brain immediately switched from kick returner to WR mode.

Looks like Trevon Diggs suffered a likely torn ACL in practice today.

The Bears' offense is so bad that JT O'Sullivan is going to launch an entire media career off of describing in exacting detail just how bad it is.

I saw Orslavsky breaking down the exact same screen they ran 2 plays in a row.

Spoiler alert, pick 6

Speaking of guys with no concept of a sideline/end line...

The worst thing for the Giants coaches/GM was to overachieve last season. It gave the fans unrealistic expectations for this season. This was always going to be a long rebuild considering how bare the cupboard was when they started.

Bad week for the Bears. Offense misfiring, defense lacking, special teams just there.. and the equipment team just had $100,000 worth of stuff stolen from them (as in, they just cut a fence and drove it away)

It's funny but I LOVE all these injuries and debates about what to do about them. When I played stat games like stratomatic and ootp and stuff, I LOVED it when a player got injured and needed rest. It sent my mind racing and wrot ethe story of the underdog benchplayer that FINALLY got a chance to start. I liked baasketball games for that reason most. Force me to play Kurt Rambis and I was in heaven. In fact, I'll start him anyway.

Nothing can fix a pass rush issue like playing the Falcon's offensive line.

So what’s up with the Giants heartily putting out the message that Barkley was only a REGULAR ankle sprain for days. And then to backtrack and say it was a high ankle sprain? Seemed like Iraq minister of information type shit.

There were already grumblings about Denver cutting ties with Vance Joseph after last week. After this week, it might be one of those "You should probably find your own ride home tonight" situations.

Watching the Dolphins make the running game at the very least an equal part of its offense brings me such joy. I know I have an antiquated way of looking at offense but I love watching teams who have dynamic running games. Screens and short passes are not the same as watching a well executed running game IMO.

@NobodyHere

I actually think that a losing season this year may make losing the Jaguars as a team from Jacksonville a real possibility versus just leverage

The city is not keen on being fooled again and certainly sees consistently how profitable the Kahn’s are in business.

The team has literally done this every single season except the MJWD year.

Most points by a single team since the merger and closing in on 700 yards with 8 minutes left!

Dolphins have hung 70 on the Broncos and with 2 minutes left and the ball at the 28 they could kick a field goal breaking the NFL record for points scored by one team in a game.

Vikings convert 4th and 5 inside the 10 with about 25-30 seconds left, basically huddled up, got off a snap under 10 seconds... and threw a pick. Good job, good effort.
